Message from the dev:

SCREAM NOTE is a new kind of co-op game, where the monster isn't AI, it's your friend.

The game's variety comes from 2 major things: the huge amount of unique jumpscares, and the friends you play with. In SCREAM NOTE, your friend is the monster. Every session is different based on who you play with, and how they play.

This is NOT Among Us. Everybody can jumpscare, and there's no vote button. If you ever want to make it out of hell, you'll have to convince your friends to stop... Until someone inevitably, breaks the promise, again. But that's what makes it so fun.

I recommend playing in groups of 3-4+ players, but 2 players can be fun as well. There is no singleplayer (except streamer mode). Play it with your real friends. There's no matchmaking. Playing with strangers is less fun.

I remember my first time playing this game, and it was the most fun, emotional, and intense first 30 minutes of a game I've ever had with my friends. So I can only hope you'll experience the same thing!

We've done many playtests, but when many more players will play on launch, there may be additional feedback to address - in that case, please let me know your feedback on Discord or the Steam discussions, and I'll try my best to improve it based on your feedback if anything comes up.
