It's been a long time since the last devblog. SCP Strategy has been available in Early Access for 7 months. During this period of time, many things had been added and updated. In the next few weeks, we will publish update 0.8. This update will add CONTAINMENT BREACHES! You have been waiting for this feature for so long and finally, those events will come to the game. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40310365/66e265fec0f6a4cd2ffdd7014db22e1665cc2c75.jpg That is the main view of your facilities. From this perspective, you will see a cross-section of your underground buildings. During containment breaches, you will see different sectors turning red. That means you are losing control of those cells. You will be able to use different procedures to regain control of them. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40310365/e2a38db889aadf949d3c639e9466c7508f26627f.gif Psychologists say that well-decorated rooms have a positive effect on employee performance. Changing details in your interiors will affect your employees' statistics. That means choosing more decorated interiors will decrease the chance of containment breaches and increase the speed of conducting research. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40310365/5e74878fe8d1c0d4368189017dc9f5757b10e980.jpg We have added a new statistic on your main screen. That will show a chance for containment breach. When (a few months ago) we were planning incoming updates we were thinking about simple organizations system. We want to use your ideas and make SCP Strategy much better. That's why we have decided to create a casual turn-based battles system. Every turn will offer you the ability to use a few order points. Different actions will take different counts of order points. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40310365/7ad230e1bdbd02cd25f0eb565650b90576064355.gif Unfortunately, we would not be able to provide this feature and other things planned to version 0.3. We want to publish updates regularly so we decided to rewrite this part of our roadmap. Do not worry! Earlier announced features will be added in version 0.4. As you can see here, the closest update will add the new battles system with a new skills tree. You will be able to unlock skills affecting your fighting capabilities. We hope that is a good compensation for your patience. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40310365/147a7b633538dfad283484e839e2c5e34960a671.gif You are probably interested in how battles will look. When your MTF will find a site of Chaos Insurgency you will be able to attack it. In this case, you will control your MTF divided into smaller squads. You will be able to move your squad to be closer to the opponent's turrets and make aiming easier or play more defensive. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40310365/feebf14d1b3a6b7b631cdd384378c13218e8e9d2.gif If you are attacked, the roles are reversed. Then you will be controlling static turrets and will be eliminating your enemies. You have to survive!
