Palworld 1.0 changes introduced an error when SaveSync performs host migration:

"Warning: EOF not reached for module type EPalMapObjectConcreteModelModuleType::GuildSecurity" This issue has been fixed. If you previously encountered it, just deactivate the save and activate it again to safely migrate the host.

The non-Steam version of Satisfactory can be made to work with SaveSync. Here are the steps:

Disable cloud saves for the game on Epic Games or your respective storefront
In Steam, navigate to: Library -> SaveSync -> Settings -> Properties -> Installed Files
Click on Browse
Create a new text file named 526870.txt
Add the following lines to the file (be sure to update the paths to match your machine): C:\\Games\\Satisfactory WinAppDataLocal FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames/ Note: Replace the first line with your correct installation path, and replace with the proper folder name. You can find your specific save folder by pasting %localappdata%\\FactoryGame\\Saved\\SaveGames into your file explorer's address bar
Save the file and start SaveSync. It will now display a "Satisfactory (Non-Steam)" entry in the game list

Removed the individual LAN Sync panel from supported games. The primary way to access this feature is now through the global LAN Sync panel in the header, simply select a game and enable the toggle. This streamlines the interface and paves the way for a future tunneling service.

Fixed an edge condition: If User A played but did not upload, and User B played later and uploaded, User B's save would overwrite User A's. This prevented User A's save from uploading, leaving them permanently unable to revert

SaveSync now works properly with Windrose. The new save path introduced in a recent patch by the Windrose developers is now fully supported. Instructions for use: Launch Windrose before opening SaveSync so that the game migrates the save to the new path, then open SaveSync. Important Note: If you previously played Windrose while SaveSync was not working and now you see a "Activate" button, do not click it, as doing so may revert progress. Instead, delete that save from SaveSync and re-add it by clicking the "+ Save" button. If you already clicked "Activate" and your save reverted to old progress, check: %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/{64BitSteamID}/RocksDB_v2_Backups_ss/ SaveSync moves a backup before activating, so you can copy that backup back to "RocksDB_v2_Backups", start the game, and recover your progress. SaveSync won't work properly for Windrose due to a recent patch by the Windrose developers: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/3041230/view/658231077844812605?l=english Before, the saves were being written to %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/{64BitSteamID}/RocksDB/ but now they are being written to %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/{64BitSteamID}/RocksDB_v2/ and %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/R5/Saved/SaveProfiles/{64BitSteamID}/RocksDB_v2_Backups/ with the backup zip being the source of truth. I need some time to figure out how to solve this.

SaveSync now works on Linux!

After a few months of work, Linux support is finally here. The Windows build of SaveSync runs through Proton and works on Linux. We tested it on Steam Deck in both Desktop Mode and Gaming Mode. Touch input works in Gaming Mode, and controller support is planned for the future. We also added an onboarding panel for app behavior. The first time you start SaveSync, you’ll see a small setup panel with options for Run at Startup and Minimize to System Tray on Close. These settings can always be changed later in the app settings. Linux support is still early and not perfect yet, so you may run into some issues. If you do, please report them to us. We are moving away from Tauri to NW.js to render our UI. We were using Tauri in a non-bundled setup that relied on the system WebView2, but a recent Windows or WebView2 update caused it to break for some users. Because of this, we switched to NW.js, which bundles Chromium with the app. While this increases the app size, it is currently the more stable option for us. In the future, we’ll explore ways to reduce the app size or move to a fully native UI.
