We have identified an issue where some players did not receive their Ink correctly after completing a purchase through Steam Wallet in-game, despite the payment going through successfully. This bug has now been fixed, and Ink is being granted correctly.
For players confirmed to have been affected by this issue, our team has manually granted the appropriate amount of Ink based on verified payment records. If you encounter a similar issue in the future, please let us know via the "Submit Bug/Feedback" form in-game.
Thank you for your continued support of Saga & Seeker!
We have released an update for both the Standard and Early Access versions. The following changes have been implemented:
Fixed a bug where no response would be returned when using the Claude Fable model under certain conditions.
Fixed a bug where the UI on the branch selection screen could become corrupted after playing for a large number of turns.
Fixed a bug where branches could stop functioning correctly after session restore when the same quest had been played multiple times.
Thank you for your continued support of Saga & Seeker!
The following updates have been applied to both the Standard and Early Access versions.
Added new selectable AI models. The following models have been added:
GPT-5.6 Sol
GPT-5.6 Terra
GPT-5.6 Luna
Claude Fable 5
Grok 4.5
Deepseek V4 Flash
※ Please note that following this update, the AI model selected on your first launch after updating may differ from the one you last used. Please check your AI model selection before starting a quest after updating.
Fixed a bug where the prologue was not displayed correctly at the start of a quest in certain situations.
Fixed several other minor display issues.
Thank you for your continued support of Saga & Seeker!
We have sent out 1,500 Ink to everyone who completed the user survey that ran through July 11th — thank you so much for your responses!
Your feedback will be used as valuable reference for our future development. We truly appreciate all the responses we received!
Thank you for your continued support of Saga & Seeker!
The following updates have been applied to both the Standard and Early Access versions.
Added the ability to redo past inputs during quest gameplay. This allows you to rewind to a "branch point" in your current quest and continue playing from any previous input.
During a quest, press the "Re-enter Input" button at the top center of the screen to redo your dialogue at any point.
Inputs before the redo are saved as "branches." You can view a list of all branches created during the current quest via the "Re-enter Input" button, and switch between branches to continue from any of them.
Epilogue generation, quest logs, and other content triggered by "Quest Complete" can be generated separately for each branch.
Implemented a session restore feature.
This feature allows you to resume a previously completed quest from a different branch.
Sessions are saved on a per-turn basis and will be restored from the last turn you entered.
Restoring data from before v1.2.0 is not supported. Previous session data may appear in the session list, but please be aware that data from before v1.2.0 may not restore correctly.
Added "Sort" and "Folder" features to the character selection screen.
The Sort feature allows you to freely reorder characters in the list. Enable the "Move Mode" toggle and drag characters to rearrange them.
The Folder feature allows you to organize characters into player-created folders. After creating a folder with the "Create Folder" button, drag characters or folders in Move Mode to place them inside. Folders can be deleted with the "Delete Folder" button — however, please note that deleting a folder will also delete all nested folder structures within it. (Characters inside the folder will not be deleted and will be moved back to the top level.)
Characters cannot be moved across tabs using either the Sort or Folder features.
Fixed a bug where the prologue and the first turn's events could be rendered in duplicate.
Fixed a bug where the epilogue and the last turn's events could be rendered in duplicate.
Improved log loading speed when resuming a quest.
Added a tutorial to the quest play screen.
Changed the placeholder icon displayed during loading on the character list screen from white to black.
Implemented 7 new works from the "Character & Scenario Submission Campaign" held during the Closed Beta Test period.
Known Issues:
When restoring a session that has already been completed via the session restore feature, you will be able to continue playing after the generated epilogue. However, we have confirmed a bug in certain situations where the input field displays "The quest has ended." and further input after the epilogue becomes unavailable. This issue is scheduled to be fixed in a future update.

We have released an update for both the Standard and Early Access versions. The following changes have been implemented:
Added a feature that periodically backs up a portion of player data to the server during gameplay.
We are currently aware that in some environments, player data is taking an unusually long time to load. To address this, a future update is planned that will restructure player data with the goal of improving load speeds. This update adds a server-side saving feature for player data as preparation for that change. ※ The frequency of backups depends on in-game activity. Please note that the most up-to-date data is not always guaranteed to be saved.
Please also note that this feature is separate from the player-facing backup function and does not support data restoration. We kindly ask that you continue to manually back up your local player data as before.
The save data folder can be found at the following locations:
Windows: C:/Users/(username)/AppData/LocalLow/Dagdoria Studio/Saga and Seeker
Mac: /Users/(username)/Library/Application Support/Dagdoria Studio/Saga and Seeker
Note: These are the folders one level above the folder opened by "Show Save Folder" in the in-game options menu.

We are excited to announce the official launch of the Saga & Seeker Portal Site! Previously available only to our official Discord members as a sneak peek, the site is now open to everyone.
The Portal Site allows you to replay quest logs using an interface nearly identical to the in-game screen and makes it easy to discover characters created by players around the world.Browser Access: Upload your quest logs and characters to view them anytime, anywhere from your web browser.
Open Browsing: Even if you don’t own the game, you can browse other players' creations without needing to log in.
Private Storage: Use the "Private Upload" feature to use the site as your own personal log archive.
Discover New Content: Find your favorite characters easily using searches for authors, tags, and keywords.
Scenario Sharing: This feature is currently unsupported but is planned for a future update.
Quest Log Replays (Audio): Quest logs created in versions prior to Ver. 1.1.9 do not support original BGM and SE (sound effect) playback. When uploading older logs, BGM/SE will be automatically assigned by the system, which may result in different audio or presentation than what was experienced during actual gameplay.

Fixed a layout bug on the Sortie screen where the "Narrative Pacing" and "Furigana" settings appeared distorted.
The "-" Entry: These newly added items, displayed as "-", act as empty slots. Equipping them ensures that the slot has no effect on quest progression or AI behavior.
Availability: Please note that these "-" entries cannot be equipped during initial Character Creation; they are only available for selection within the Character Editing screen.
Adjustments to "Narration (Player Input)" The Skills and Memories for the "Narration (Player Input)" character have been updated to these special non-influencing versions.
Automatic Changes: Following this update, all Skills and Memories for "Narration (Player Input)" have been changed to "-". By default, this character will now have only "-" equipped.
Auto-Equip Disabled: Newly acquired Skills or Memories will no longer be automatically equipped to this character. (Please note that you will still earn new Skills and Memories upon completing a quest; they simply will not be auto-assigned to slots.)
Please note that your existing character data for "Narration (Player Input)" will not be overwritten in this update. Instead, a new version of the "Narration (Player Input)" character—pre-equipped with these special Skills and Memories—will be added to your character list as a separate entry.
