身为民俗杂志编辑的边承林收到了诡异的四段拓片，循着拓片上的诗词线索，来到了一个隐藏在大山深处的神秘村庄——睖（lèng）睁（zhēng）村。可他未曾想到的是，这一趟旅程，竟牵扯到了村庄里几十年前的数桩命案，这四张不知是何人寄给他的拓片，其中也隐藏着关于他自身的秘密，随着他调查的深入，真相也在逐渐浮出水面……
在村庄住下后，你发现了一册 “遗魂村志”，其中记载的故事一个比一个匪夷所思，吃人老鼠，纸人新娘，血色村庄……这些故事或许并非只是故事，它们与村庄里埋藏多年的秘密紧密相连。
村庄的【镇灵日】即将到来，村中的气氛越发令人不安，友善的村民似乎在隐瞒着什么、计划着什么，你可以相信谁？
