Ropuka's Idle Island news & patch notes

Hello! Today on Ropuka's Idle Island:

• We've added 4 new winter themed hats, available in Catalogue and Lottery

• New friend added to the Friends tab

• You can now set any combination of 2 friends to join Ropuka on his island

This is the last update of 2025, we would like to thank everyone who join us and Ropuka on this journey, it's been an incredible year and we are forever grateful! See you next year! 🎉🐸🎉

Hello! Today on Ropuka's Idle Island we teamed up with Nano Neighbors to bring you a special bundle. Just like with our previous collaboration, we've also added new decoration set that brings Ropuka a bit closer to the city life. Hope you enjoy it!

Hello! Today on Ropuka's Idle Island:

• We've added 6 new songs. They are all unlocked by default, and you can add/remove them from your personal playlist in the Audio Settings

• We've added dynamic weather to the Idle Island. Every few minutes, there is a chance that the weather on the island will change. The ambient track will also sync to the current weather. Both weather and ambient sync are unlocked by default, and you can tweak them in the Audio/Graphics Settings.

Hello! We have another small update to our frog customization options:

• 7 new clothes variants added You can unlock and equip them directly from Ropuka's customization panel

We can't wait to see what combinations of hats, accessories, and clothes you will chose for Ropuka! 🐸🌿🌿🌿

• Two slots for Ropuka's accessories Ropuka can now wear a hat and glasses, or headphones and the humming notes. You can find the new accessory slots on the new tab in the Frog window.
• 6 new hats added to the collection
• Added new tab to control Ropuka's behaviour
  • Cutting mode lets you control if Ropuka cuts the grass evenly, or focuses on the one closest to his home
  • Sleep mode controls how long Ropuka's naps take, Relaxed makes him sleep twice as long and Sleepy four times as long. To make sure you progress at a similar rate, after sleeping in those modes, Ropuka will collect 2 or 4 times as much grass!
  • Talking mode lets you decide if you want Ropuka to greet you and talk to you from time to time or remain silent
  • Running speed allows you to make Ropuka walk a bit slower if you feel like he deserves a break.

• New Spring-themed decoration set in two color variants 12 new items to collect and celebrate the spring!
• Bug fixes related to achievements (in version 1.6.2)

• Collection index page We've added a new page at the start of your Collection tab. It has shortcuts to all individual decoration sets. You no longer have to click 10+ times just to find the page you need!
• '92 Collection We've grouped all current decoration sets under '92 Collection and moved all small houses to their respective pages.
• Achievements changes We've changed current achievements to only count '92 Collection (eg. Unlock all house variants -> Unlock all house variants from '92 collection), this way we can keep adding new decorations without impacting anybody's progress. Once new collections are fully released, they will get their separate achievements added to the game.

Other things

• Windowed mode We've added an option to play the game in non-transparent Windowed mode. While playing in this mode the game will display one of the game's wallpapers and the island will fit within the window's bounds.
• FPS Limit You can set the game's FPS limit to 30/60/75/120/144/165/240 fps to match your preferred refresh rate or limit resource usage.
• Mute button added next to the 'Move Island' handle
• General optimization and stability improvements

• New house variant - small We've added 12 new house stickers, a small variant of every house we had in the game so far. They are getting added to the lottery, but you can also buy each individual one - half the house for half the original price!
• Ground color will now match the grass Changing the grass color/variant will also slightly change the color of the island's ground to better match it
• 1 new achievement added
• 'Exit to Desktop' button will now always appear in the Settings panel
• Added an option to turn off the hiding of the game's UI (available in Settings -> Display)

• 2 new music tracks
• 5 new ambient loops We've added new ambient loops and made sure they loop perfectly without that nasty fade in/out
• Improved Audio Settings You can now select which ambient loop you want to play and which songs will play in sequence (or just loop your favourite one)
• 4 new music-themed stickers added on Page 16
• 1 new achievement

• Added additional safety checks to prevent savefile getting corrupted when the game closes unexpectedly (PC crash, power outage etc.)
• Fixed some issue that prevented the game from loading (infinite 'frog' loading screen)

Changes:

• New Idler Fest sticker collection and achievement We've added 6 new stickers to the game, you can get them from the Lottery or buy individual ones for 2 tokens each. There is also a new achievement for collecting them all.
• Fixed infinite loading bug
• Fixed some issues preventing players from being able to click and interact with Ropuka

• Fixed issues related to the game crashing on 'frog' loading screen
• Fixed issue with equipped stickers not being saved properly
• Changed Grass Quality and Growth upgrade prices to be more in line with other upgrades

• 20 new achievements added There are now more achievements available between the game's start and reaching 100% collection.
• Upgrades values and costs adjusted We've added more levels to most upgrades but made them all significantly cheaper so there should be less waiting periods between being able to buy something when you are playing for longer period of time.
• Made Ropuka cut grass more evenly Instead of cutting a big hole in the middle of the island, Ropuka will now try to keep his lawn relatively even.
• Small UI improvements
• Various compatibility and stability improvements

Gameplay Changes

• Fixed grass growth rate being over 10 times higher than the displayed value. Many of you reported Ropuka only cutting grass closest to the chair and never running around the island, this should make it so the grass is actually getting cut and grass quality/growth rate upgrades matter
• Increased the 'Total unique stickers' collection bonus to growth rate from 0.05/min to 0.1/min To compensate for the change above we are giving a bit more free growth rate from collecting stickers

Other

• Added option to scale UI between 50% and 300% of the initial size
• Music volume, Ambient volume, UI Scale, and Always on Top settings should properly save between sessions now (after playing version 1.0.10 at least once)
• Added option to move the island by holding left shift and using arrow keys (click on the island so the UI shows and the game is the active window for it to work)
• Added option to launch the game straight from the installation folder
• Moved wallpapers from AdditionalFiles to Wallpapers folder
• Various compatibility and stability improvements
