Residents of Old Detroit, This is an eviction notice. Your homes have been foreclosed. OCP enforcement officers will be escorting you to your new residences on the East Coast! Many of you have wondered what's next for Teyon and today, we're excited to reveal that our next game, Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish.
With Deathwish, we wanted to expand on the sense of exploration and problem-solving that defined your exploits in Old Detroit. Our goal is to create a world that feels alive. One where you’re progressing through a story, but also actively shaping it. That when you push, the world pushes back, evolving in how it reacts to you.
That idea is core to Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish. Stepping into the World of Darkness gives us a rich foundation to build on, blending the depth of TTRPG mechanics and character creation with a modern gameplay experience. We want to push further into roleplaying, meaningful choices, and systems that reflect who your character is and how they survive.
As a Hunter, you awaken to a dark truth: the things that go bump in the night are real and they’re out there. The setting offers a vast range of supernatural threats, this is a David versus Goliath story. You’re at the bottom of the food chain, taking desperate shots at forces far more powerful than you.
That’s why you don’t stand alone.
Hunters operate in cells. small, tight-knit groups built to get shit done. In Deathwish, your cell is your lifeline. These are your comrades, willing to risk everything to fight back against the supernatural. They’re your friends, the people you confide in and build relationships with. But they’re also foils, with their own perspectives, priorities, and hills they're willing to die on. They may challenge your decisions or force you to question them if you're making the right choices.
Working with your cell is essential. Together, you can amplify each other’s strengths and cover for each other’s weaknesses.
Awakened by your Drive and struggling to piece together fragmented memories, your journey as a Hunter begins in Summer 2027.
If this sounds like your kind of story, follow our development journey and consider wishlisting us on Steam.
If you want to talk to other fans of either RoboCop or Hunter, then head on down to our Discord! We'll see you there.
To all officers stationed within Old Detroit,
This is a confidential communication from DPD headquarters. Reports indicate that in 2025, RoboCop commenced a siege on the Omni-Tower. Since the Omni-Tower is outside the jurisdiction of the Detroit Police Department, it means RoboCop is going in alone.
How far RoboCop has progressed through the Omni-Tower depends on you! If you've been enjoying your trip through the Omni-Tower, we'd love your support in this year's Steam Awards!
The Steam Awards are driven entirely by you, meaning that it's you're chance to give a shout-out to some of your favorite gaming experiences of 2025. If you had a great time with RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business, we'd love for you to nominate us for the your Game of the Year or any other category you would like to.
We wouldn't be where we are without your support, and wish thank every single one of your for joining us and Murphy for another adventure.

July 17th, 1987: the first RoboCop movie is released in theatres.
July 17th, 2025: 38 years later, RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business launches with Peter Weller reprising his role as RoboCop. The OmniTower awaits! An OCP housing project turned deadly fortress by a group of mercenaries who seized control of the facility. You'll need to scale the tower, beat back the mercs, and save the day in this follow-up to Rogue City that harks back to the chaotic fun of 80s action movies.
It's been a wild ride to get here and we wouldn't have been able to pour so much love into Unfinished Business without the support of our fans! Thank you so much, and welcome back to Old Detroit!
Reach down for your holster and spin your Auto-9 cause RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business launches tomorrow, July 17th. We're excited to welcome you back to Old Detroit, but some of you may have questions ahead of launch. Let's dive in, shall we?
This standalone follows on from Rogue City, it's not required to have played it, but Unfinished Business does make use of the systems created for Rogue City.
We've expanded on these for Unfinished Business, with new weapons, enemies, environments, and a brand new storyline. All of this takes place in the OmniTower, a housing project turned death trap, that players will navigate on their way to the top. That's the only way to stop the mercenaries gaining access to all OCP technology, RoboCop included.
Opting for a standalone also meant that we could expand the scope on what would be a traditional DLC, introducing new gameplay experiences: like playing as Alex Murphy back when he was a beat cop, or causing chaos as ED-209.
As huge fans of RoboCop, Unfinished Business gave us the option to expand on the universe, revealing more backstory about Murphy's life before he became RoboCop, and solidifying the place of Rogue City between RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3. We hope fans enjoy playing these moments as much as we did crafting them.
Lastly, like the title suggests, Unfinished Business can stand alone, meaning you don't need to own Unfinished Business on the same platform as Rogue City, or even own Rogue City to play Unfinished Business.
9:00 PDT (Pacific Daylight Time)
12:00 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time)
17:00 BST (British Summer Time)
18:00 CEST (Central European Summer Time)
That means it's your last chance to drop a pre-order and secure yourself the Prime Directives Pack which features a cosmetic skin for when you're playing as RoboCop, Alex Murphy, or using the Cryo Cannon.
As another note, buyers of RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business will be able to play via cloud gaming on GeForce Now.
Looming in the distance, the silhouette of the OmniTower watches over Old Detroit. A beacon of the future that OCP envisions, Delta City, a safe, harmonious city overseen by OCP and its subdivisions. A haven protected by ED-209s, RoboCop, and the Detroit Police Department.
The OmniTower is the first part of that plan, a housing complex designed to house the residents of Old Detroit during redevelopment, but that vision of a ‘perfect’ future for Delta City is under threat. The OmniTower has been sieged by a group of highly trained mercenaries looking to take control of OCP’s technology and use it for their own goals.
That includes RoboCop, and that’s going to be a problem. Following an attack on the Metro West Precinct, RoboCop makes his way to the OmniTower to find that it’s been turned into a fortress, a mix of traps, turrets, and troops designed to keep RoboCop and everyone else at arm’s length.
Flying drones rain bullets down from above, reducing options for cover in open spaces, while other drones act more like mines, waiting for someone to walk past before springing to life and running them down with explosive results. Thank God for the Kevlar laminated into that titanium; you’re going to need it.
Especially when the bullets start flying, these mercenaries are kitted out to the teeth, and they’re the shoot first, then shoot again type. Avoid the spray and pray of miniguns, the sub-zero temperatures of the Cryo Cannon, and then take these weapons, turning them against your enemies. Or just keep exclusively using the Auto-9 (we know you’re going to).
We’ve also had reports of men with jetpacks, and some metallic psychopaths running around carrying katanas. We’ve checked the OCP records but have no information on these assailants. To deal with these unknown threats, ED-209 usage has been authorized. Well, authorized is a loose word, but it was enough for Miranda Hale, who managed to hack into the control systems for the ED-209. Enforce order with an arsenal of automatic cannons, shotguns, and rocket launchers. After all, it’s easy to keep peace when you leave your enemies in pieces.
Take on the OmniTower when RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business drops on July 17th. Pre-purchase and you’ll receive the Prime Directives Pack. You have 20 seconds to comply!
We're just over 1 week away from the launch of RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business, and while that does feel like an eternity away. You know what it means, there's no better time to hop back into RoboCop: Rogue City for a replay (or a 1st play, we don't judge).
If it's been a while since you last checked out RoboCop: Rogue City, you might have missed our New Game + update, which lets you bring all of your unlocked skills and Auto-9 upgrades into your next playthrough. This update includes a new difficulty mode, additional Auto-9 Chips & Boards, and more!
If you've yet to play RoboCop: Rogue City, it's currently available as part of the Steam Summer Sale*.
*Summer sale lasts until July 10th @ 10AM PT
We're only 2 short weeks away from the launch of RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business and we hope you've excited to take on the OmniTower in this action packed standalone on July 17th. Part of the joy of working on a RoboCop game is creating what feels like a playable movie; with all the satire, one-liners, and the over-the-top violence that you would expect. It also lets us expand on the universe, adding to the overall world, exploring new themes, and discovering Old Detroit in greater detail than ever before. You are RoboCop, moments of downtime and investigation blended with high-octane shootouts where you showcase the power at your fingertips.
For Unfinished Business, we've upped the ante, dialling in on that intensity with powerful finisher moves, new weapons, and a no holds barred story that will have you play as RoboCop, Alex Murphy (back when he was still a beat cop, ED-209) and more.
Watch our Overview Trailer for the full breakdown!
Classic Police Outfit (when playing as Alex Murphy)
Frosted Armor (when playing as RoboCop)
Cryo Cannon Scarlet (should be obvious what this one is for)
See you on the beat in Old Detroit on July 17th!
