The purpose of this update is to get RITE launching properly on Steam deck, without having to change any launch settings or anything. It appears to be running without issue on my end (works on my own Steam Deck), so hopefully that's the case for all SD owners.
I have also updated the library and store visual assets to match the Switch version.
Thanks,
Dan
A small update has gone live, RITE is now available for Linux!
And Cloud Saving has now been implemented too.
Also, last week RITE was a finalist in 3 categories at the Australian Game Developer Awards, and ended up winning Best Music and Best Emerging Game! So that's pretty cool!
Cheers,
Dan
The Australian Game Developer Awards (AGDAs) are upon us this week and RITE is a Top 3 Finalist for 3 different categories! Best Art, Best Music, and Best Emerging Game.
To celebrate, RITE will be discounted by 25% for the entire week! (Oct 5 to Oct 12 2020)
Win or not, as a first time developer I am over the moon to be in the Top 3 for each of these categories. This is the first time RITE will be sold at a discounted price, what a great time to check out the maybe-award-winning game!

The second major update for RITE is now live and includes:
- A level timer for quickest level times, both any% and all coins (timer display in options menu)
- A death counter (unfortunately doesn't include deaths previous to this update)
- Level names on level select screen, as well as best times
- The ability to clear your save file (death count and best times will remain saved, more just a feature for all coin full game speedrunners)
- Toggle outlines around the player, collectables, and hazards to make the game more readable
- Toggle wind effects and foliage animation to make the game more readable
- Holding the jump button when transitioning between levels with go to the next level straight away
- Fixed sound issues caused by global sound controls
- Fixed final achievement popping early
- Steam screenshots now implemented
Thanks for playing RITE!
