Thanks everyone for the feedback and support during the first week!
it's shaped this update, which focuses on improving the Shadow Skills from Chapter Memories.
For those finding the game too demanding, you can now spend Chapter Memories to deploy a Shadow Decoy that stalls enemies, giving you a little more breathing room. That said, the core design still rewards finding and executing the right path without relying on it. Honestly, that's the more satisfying way to play.
Exploration is central to the game, and Shadow Scout marks actions that have follow up actions chained behind them. The icon was easy to miss, so it now also displays a Scout Line extending from the source action, making it much clearer that there's more to follow.
Shift + Middle Click any action and Shadow Slave will automatically queue all actions along the way. No more adding them one by one.
General performance improvements, especially in chapters with many actions and generators
Certain nodes are now excluded from town destruction in Chapter 4
Visit The Great Kingdom's resource requirements in Chapter 2 now update correctly after a specific event happened
Fixed a bug where actions appeared red even when the player had sufficient resources across all chapters with resource generators
Thanks again for all the feedback!
For those of you seeing this game for the first time, the title might already throw you off. Fair warning, the game itself is even more unhinged than the name itself. This is an incremental game that breaks every rule of incremental genre. No, this is not an incremental or idle game. It is the text-based puzzle that you'll die and respawn over and over until you find the path through life that lets you conquer the world. If you're already a fan of Re:Zero, you'll get it immediately. But as the title, you're NOT reincarnating as the hero. You're reincarnating as the dark lord.
This game's unconventional nature means some people will love it and some will be disappointed (that's on me, sorry >_<). So I'd really encourage you to try the demo first before deciding whether this is the journey for you.
For those who've already finished both chapters of the demo, don't worry, you won't have to replay them if you don't want to. The full game supports automatic demo save importing (it'll ask before proceeding). Chapters 1 and 2 in the full game aren't meaningfully different from the demo. There are just minor balance tweaks and a dead face new born dark lord avatar in chapter 1. So you can import your demo save and jump straight into Chapter 3.
Finally, thank you so much to everyone who has supported this game. As a small solo dev, even just having you stop by to try the demo means the world to me.
The game will be release and the summoning begins on

Thank you all for the support!
See you on other side
Thanks to everyone for the continued feedback! Here’s what’s new in this update:
New Feature: Shadow Scout – This upgrade allows you to identify if an action will reveal further subsequent actions before you commit.
Visual Polish – Tuned up several graphics and VFX elements for more immersive look.
Stability Fix – Resolved a persistent "jittering" bug that occurred on certain hardware configurations after completing each action.
When I started working on this game, I honestly didn't know if anyone would care about it beyond me. But here you are 2,000+ of you wishlist the game. That means everything.
Thank you for supporting this little game. Every wishlist feels like someone saying "hey, this looks cool" and that keeps me going on the hard days.
I hope you all enjoy this celebration BBQ.
Hi, this is an update for the demo with several new requested features.
New Features:
Continuity Bonus: Every ending you unlock in Chapter 1 will now provide a selection of bonuses to choose from when starting Chapter 2.
Mana & Power Recovery: You can now spend Chapter Memories to regain Mana and/or Power. This allows you to bypass certain requirements and fast-track your path to finish the chapter.
Game Balance:
Chapter 1 Rebalancing: Several actions tuned in the first chapter to open up more potential routes to the ending.
General Improvements:
Fixed various typos throughout both chapters.
Optimized game performance for a smoother experience.
Thank you all so much for your continued feedback and support!
Thanks for all your feedback! This demo hotfix addresses the following issues:
Fixed action choice bug in chapter 2
Fixed corpse and soul bug in chapter 2
Added visual effects to mind bars so players notice when they appear
Optimized shaders for better Intel GPU compatibility
Thanks again for your feedback and support!
Hi, if you come here for the first time, YES, that's the actual game name. And please, let me explain it.
Like 'Isekai' anime, you reincarnated as a Dark Lord in another world, reincarnating over and over to gain enough power to conquer everything before the world kills you first.
Those confusing text boxes and tangled lines you see are paths and choices. Each action costs world time so choose wisely.
This is an idle incremental RPG with multiple endings and secrets waiting to be discovered. The prestige system lets you blitz through runs faster each time, and if you're precise enough, you can skip the grind entirely and speedrun your way to victory.
The demo (first two chapters) is available now. Download and start your conquest!
Hi everyone!
For this demo you'll be able to play through Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 with multiple endings and secrets to discover. This idle game is focusing on exploration, with your reincarnate ability, you can take advantage of your experience from previous runs to try different strategies and uncover new paths.
The full game will obviously have way more chapters to conquer, even more endings to unlock, and secrets hidden everywhere for you to find 🙂
Be sure to wishlist on Steam to stay updated, and I'll see you on January 6th! ♥️
