Hello Rangers,

While work on Update 2 continues, we wanted to release a smaller in-between patch for Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator, focused on quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and a few behind-the-scenes adjustments.

Update 1.11 is not a major content update, but it brings several improvements that should make your time in Faremont National Park smoother and more comfortable while we continue working on the next bigger update.

As always, thank you for your feedback, bug reports, suggestions, and discussions here on Steam. Your input helps us understand what matters most to the community and continues to guide our work during Early Access.

New: Pause Feature

One of the main additions in Update 1.11 is the new pause feature.

We know many of you asked for more control during your shift, especially when you need to step away for a moment, check something, or simply take a short break without time continuing to move in the background.

With Update 1.11, you can now pause the game, making ranger life in Faremont a little more relaxed.

Updated Info Panel Picture

We’ve also updated the info panel picture, giving this part of the UI a refreshed look and improving the overall presentation.

Fixes & Smaller Improvements

Update 1.11 also includes several smaller fixes and improvements, including:

• Added Steam Cloud Save

• Performance improvements, especially on lower-end systems

• Mission-related bug fixes

• Input system bug fixes

• Added more openings in fences to improve map navigation

• Adjusted running speed and gravity scale balancing

• Smaller quality-of-life changes

• Minor polish and stability improvements

Faremont National Park is busier than ever, with new duties and responsibilities.

With this update, your role as a ranger expands, introducing new tasks across the park, alongside the Park Review Score system and a new off-road vehicle to support your patrols.

🌲 A Park worth protecting

With Update 1, your work as a ranger truly shapes Faremont National Park. The Park Review Score reflects the overall health and quality of the park, tying together everything you do out in the field. By maintaining trails, responding to callouts, and taking care of the environment, you steadily improve the park’s reputation and unlock new rewards along the way. What you protect today will define the park of tomorrow.

📻 New Callouts & Ranger Duties

🎒 Backpack Search

While we love welcoming new visitors to the park, not everyone follows the rules. The Backpack Search callout introduces new situations that require careful observation and attention to detail. As a ranger, you will inspect visitors and uncover illegal activities taking place within the park.

This includes tracking illegal drone operators by spotting drones in the sky and identifying their controllers, catching vandals in the act of spraying benches, and locating poachers who disturb protected flora. Keeping Faremont safe now depends more than ever on your awareness and instincts.

🌿 Flora Survey

With the Flora Survey callout, you take on the role of monitoring the health of plant life across the park. You will be dispatched to specific areas where you must locate designated flora using your Ranger Sense, assess their condition, and take action if necessary. Every inspection contributes to preserving the balance of the ecosystem and ensuring that Faremont National Park remains a thriving natural habitat.

📦 Restock Missions

The Restock callout focuses on keeping the park functional and welcoming for visitors. You will collect supplies from ranger facilities and distribute them to locations such as trailheads, information panels, and campsites. By ensuring that maps, brochures, and campfire supplies are always available, you help create a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone exploring Faremont National Park.

🚚 Transport Missions

The Transport callout introduces logistics-focused tasks that are essential for daily park operations. You will gather items from multiple locations and deliver them to a central destination, supporting activities such as weather data collection, waste management, and campsite maintenance. While these tasks may seem menial, they are the kind of behind-the-scenes work that keeps the park running smoothly and ensures everything is where it needs to be.

🛻 New Vehicle: Trailhawk Summit Utility Vehicle

To support your expanded duties, Update 1 introduces the Trailhawk Summit Utility Vehicle, a rugged and reliable vehicle designed for off-road patrols. Compared to the pickup truck, it offers improved maneuverability and handling on rough terrain, making it especially useful on forest trails and uneven ground. Whether you are responding to a callout or exploring remote areas of the park, the Jeep ensures you can get there with confidence.

It’s been about a month since Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator opened the gates of Faremont National Park in Early Access – and what a first month it’s been.

First and foremost: thank you! 💚

Whether you’ve been patrolling trails, reporting bugs, sharing suggestions, or leaving reviews – your support means everything to us. As we’ve said before, Early Access is a collaborative journey, and you’ve already helped shape the experience in meaningful ways.

Since launch, thousands of rangers have stepped into the woods, explored the park, and taken on their duties.

Along the way, you’ve helped us identify and fix issues quickly, shared valuable feedback, suggested improvements and new ideas we’re actively discussing, and supported the game with your positive reviews and kind words.

We’ve been hard at work behind the scenes, rolling out fixes and improvements based directly on your input. Your feedback is not just heard – it’s actively shaping the future of Ranger’s Path.

we’re back with another update!

First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who continues exploring the park, sharing feedback, reporting issues and leaving reviews. Your support really helps us shape Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator during Early Access 💚

Today we’re releasing Patch V1.0.4, which focuses on gameplay flow improvements, stability, performance optimizations and a number of bug fixes reported by the community. We’ve also started to implement some balancing changes that should make daily routines in the park feel more natural and less repetitive.

Improvements & Adjustments

• Added FSR support to provide more performance options across a wider range of hardware

• Adjusted Time of Day speed and overall day length. Daytime is now longer after completing the onboarding missions

• Improved litter spawning balance across the map to reduce overly frequent respawns in maintained areas

• Improved NPC navigation behavior and reduced cases where characters avoided invisible spots

• General performance improvements and memory optimizations

• Additional gameplay flow adjustments and overall polish

• Fixed an issue where the Litter Picker auto targeting could cause incorrect pickup behavior

• Fixed excessive litter spawning after completing all main missions

• Fixed an issue where some interactable objects could become stuck, including vehicles in rare cases

• Fixed excessive collision on fallen trees blocking trails

• Fixed animal behavior not being detected correctly by the camera in certain situations

• Fixed various mission spawned objects not saving their state correctly, such as footsteps

• Fixed an issue where the Violet Trail could not be properly opened after repair

• Fixed edge cases where NPCs could appear floating above the ground

• Fixed material artifacts visible on the bear in some LOD levels

• Improved navigation consistency for NPC movement across the park

• Fixed localization overflow in Spanish and Latin American Spanish tablet UI

• Fixed a keybind collision between Hat toggle and Unstuck on gamepad. Tapping now switches the hat while holding the button unstucks the player

Rangers, we've got another small patch for you!

With this patch, we've added localizations for Polish, Slovak, and Czech to make Ranger’s Path accessible to more players, and fixed various localization issues.

• Enabled pl-PL, cs-CZ, sk languages in configs (currently not proofread)

• Various localization fixes:

  • Highlight tag visible when skipping cutscene in Spanish

  • Main menu showing “Settings” in Latin American Spanish

Rangers, we're back with another patch just in time for the weekend!

Thank you once again to everyone who jumped into Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator over the last couple of days. Your feedback, suggestions, and positive reviews mean the world to us and to the project. 💚

Today we're releasing our second patch, focused on performance improvements, UI fixes and general gameplay polish.

This patch also includes adjustments based on player feedback to improve overall game flow and stability.

• Fixed an issue where a lost visitor would not leave the area after being reprimanded

• Fixed a partial soft lock that could occur when switching tools in the tool wheel before using another tool

Step into the boots of a park ranger, managing trails, assisting visitors, checking permits, and responding to emergencies – all while exploring the breathtaking national park.

We’re happy to welcome you as part of the Faremont National Park Service! From now on, it will be your job to patrol trails, investigate emergencies, and look after Faremont National Park, its visitors, and its furry inhabitants. 🦌

Keep trails clear and safe, maintain campsites, remove obstacles like fallen trees, and put up signs to guide visitors. Every action you take ensures that Faremont National Park remains a beautiful and welcoming environment for all.

Beautiful valley views, spectacular sequoia trees, and impressive mountains rising from the dense forests will delight any nature lover. But Faremont National Park is also alive with wildlife: Watch deer graze, follow racoons around, and observe bears while documenting species and their behaviors. Keep your camera ready! Your work as a ranger helps to fill the museum with knowledge and monuments!

Check tickets, camping permits, and fishing licenses, guide hikers along trails, and answer questions about the park’s sights and wildlife. Your guidance ensures that every visitor enjoys a safe and memorable experience.

In addition to these everyday tasks, you will also tackle various main missions, such as searching for a missing actor or repairing a bridge damaged by a storm. Once completed, these missions may unlock new areas of the park and additional tasks to take on. There’s always something to do in Faremont National Park – whether it’s a quiet morning patrol or a sudden emergency call. The park is alive, unpredictable, and waiting for someone to take responsibility.

Faremont National Park will expand 🏕️

Word's been spread! Ranger's Path: National Park Simulator will open its doors on March 10, 2026 – as that's when we will finally launch in Early Access on PC.

But this is just the beginning: Faremont National Park will grow and evolve over time as we plan to expand your duties to restore and maintain scenic trails, assist visitors, and document wildlife in a living, breathing ecosystem 🍃

This update is planned to be released this Spring and will introduce a comprehensive park rating system that provides new mid- & long-term progression goals for all park rangers. Taking care of the park's infrastructure and ecosystems will make every visitor's experience much better 🍃

Of course, this will also require regular observation and maintenance: Camping sites will need to be regularly supplied with necessary items, while several areas require a steady delivery of goods to properly function. You will also be asked to inspect plants around the entire park to ensure that they're in a healthy condition. In general, we trust our visitors – all nature lovers are welcome. However, you will now be instructed to perform random searches for backpacks so that prohibited items won't be imported.

To help you with your duties, we'll also introduce a new vehicle that is not just incredibly powerful and versatile, but also fairly useful! 🛻

Update 2: New animals, new duties ✅

With our second larger update, that is currently scheduled to be released this Summer, we want to expand the already large number of animals to be found in Faremont National Park 🐻 Any wishes?

More fauna will require more care: Rangers now have to observe and examine animals to provide potentially necessary care. We don't want to risk the health of our beloved cohabitants 🏥

In addition, a large set of new callouts will be introduced with this update for more dynamic situations and high-stake emergencies. There's always something to do in Faremont National Park 🏕️

And there's even more to come ❤️

The first two larger updates have already been laid out in detail – but there's way more to come in the future! We currently plan to introduce a cooperative multiplayer, for example – as patroling through Faremont National Park is even better with a partner 🧑‍🤝‍🧑

In addition, we have ideas for a new story mission that introduces a big and dangerous illusive monster! Visitors mentioned its sight within the park... maybe you should... investigate?

However, nothing is more important than your feedback – so keep it coming! We've gotten so much great input in the last few months and love hearing your suggestions and wishes.

It's not just the visitors being up on their feet all day: As a park ranger, you want to ensure that the park lives up to its promise of a spectacular natural experience that attracts tourists and outdoor enthusiasts in droves.

Besides routine tasks like repairing minor damage, removing trash, or providing information, some jobs will require a special amount of care. Throughout your career as a park ranger, several narrated main missions therefore provide an extraordinary challenge.

From a famous actor who went missing in the depth of the forest over a search for the visitor center's popular mascot to poachers lurking to cause severe distress in the otherwise so peaceful park – your jobs will never get boring!

Completing these main missions is recommended to further advance in your career to unlock new park areas and their associated tasks, visitor groups, and additional flora and fauna. The next reward is always just around the corner!

🍃 Always busy during your shift

In Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator, you will start the day in your very own rustic cabin, which is part of the park’s ranger village.

From here, you set out to tackle the various tasks that await you during your day – either by car or on foot. Next to main missions like opening trails or repairing important infrastructure, your radio will keep coming to life in regular callouts and inform you about littering, broken signs, picknick tables or benches and damage to the trails.

🏕️ Let's go camping!

Campsites are of course also an essential part of every national park experience: Rangers need to visit them regularly to keep them in good order (litter will attract wildlife such as racoons – or bears!) and check on the camping permits of visitors preparing to spend the night.

⚙️ Preserve wildlife for the enjoyment of all!

Protecting nature is another important aspect of a ranger’s job. Using the ranger camera, you can observe and document encounters with a wide range of flora and fauna. From playful raccoons and majestic eagles to graceful deer and elusive wolves, each sighting adds a new educational entry to a growing personal wildlife lexicon.

Completing entries will not only enable you to answer questions from visitors but also add exhibition objects to the park’s museum, which is located in the visitor’s center near the entry. Later in the game, asking anglers for fishing permits and responding to urgent wildlife calls will also keep every ranger busy.
