First of all, thank you for every wishlist and every follow. Your support has brought Ranchbound this far, and it truly means a lot to me.

Now it’s time to pull back the curtain and begin the most exciting part of this journey: building the game together with you.

To celebrate the Early Access launch, Ranchbound is available with a 25% discount! I also want to be transparent from day one: I currently don’t plan to offer a larger discount at any point during Early Access.

I’ve read every message you’ve shared in the Community Hub. Some of your suggestions were already incredibly on point - even before you had the chance to play the game! That makes me even more excited about what we can create together, and I truly believe that building Ranchbound alongside the community will be an incredibly rewarding journey.

Howdy Ranchers 🤠 Ranchbound is launching in Early Access on August 5! I’m really happy to finally share the Early Access date with you. The game has come a long way since the demo, and Early Access will be the next big step in shaping Ranchbound together with the community.

Early Access Roadmap

I understand that not seeing a detailed list of specific features tied to specific dates may be disappointing for some of you, but hey - it also means everything is still on the table. I have a clear vision for the game, but I also want to leave room for player feedback to change priorities, reshape ideas, or move things around over time. I can share that multiplayer is high on the priority list and is already being gradually implemented, so I expect it to arrive fairly early in Early Access. The current plan is for Early Access to last somewhere between six months and a year.

Community feedback matters a lot

During the demo period, the community shared a lot of great ideas, suggestions, bug reports, and honest feedback. It genuinely helped me improve the game, and I’m counting on that again during Early Access.

Alongside the Early Access launch, I also plan to open a community Discord server. I hope it will become a place where you can share your thoughts, ideas, feedback, and reports directly with me.

I also plan to add an option to send feedback and report bugs directly from the game. This was requested in the Community Hub, and I think it makes a lot of sense - especially for players who prefer not to use Discord. Thanks for your support, patience, and all the feedback so far.

Howdy Ranchers 🤠

I’m happy to share that Ranchbound’s demo will be part of Steam Next Fest (February Edition), running from Feb 23 to Mar 2. The demo will stay available until the end of the festival, so you’ll have the whole event to jump in and try it.

Also - a brand new trailer is live now, so if you want a quick look at what the game is about, make sure to check it out!

A quick reminder: this is an early demo made to show the game’s core mechanics and overall potential. It’s not a content-packed slice of the full release, so please don’t judge the final scope by what’s currently in the demo - there’s a lot more planned and still in the works.

How you can help (it means a lot)

• Play the demo and tell me what feels good / what feels off

• Wishlist the game (huge support for visibility during the fest)

• Follow the store page to catch future updates

• Share it with a friend who loves strategy/management/survival games

I’m releasing this demo earlier than planned because I want your voice to matter. I have my own vision for the game, but at such an early stage of development your feedback can point to new directions for how this project grows. Besides, I simply couldn’t wait to share my vision of the game with everyone who has already added it to their wishlist - you’re amazing. I never expected such a warm reception, especially with no marketing!

Please remember: this is an early-stage demo with plenty still in development - but sharing it now lets the community help guide Ranchbound from the ground up.
