Update v1.0.6.2 has arrived, bringing more flags, more chaos, and more reasons to annoy Council Workers. Check out the update details below:
You asked for more flags, so we added more flags. Lots more. If your favourite still isn't there, let us know on Discord or the forums and we'll see what we can do.
Your chosen flag can now appear directly on supported character models. Fly your colours proudly while causing mischief across the map.
Nobody asked for it. We added it anyway.
First-Person Mode is now available in the Options menu. Give it a try—you might even like it.
The Council Workers have had a makeover and now come in a much wider variety of appearances. More workers. Same anti-flag agenda.
Fixed an Issue where Achievements would not unlock correctly
Slightly faster movement
Improved camera FOV
UI for holding items
Better single-player map balance
Various bug fixes
Thanks for playing, and remember:
A flag not raised... is a flag waiting to be raised. 🚩
After a bit of a rocky start, Steam achievements are now live and working!
This has been a highly requested feature, and I’m excited for all you collectors to start unlocking them. I’ll be adding more achievements in the future, so there’s plenty more to come.
Hope you have fun chasing them down—stay tuned for updates, check out the Discord, spread the word, and stay corny 🌽
Greetings, flag enthusiasts, patriots, and people who just really like waving things dramatically. Update 1.0.6 has officially dropped hotter than a fresh chippy, and we’re buzzing to show you what’s new. Lets dive in 👇
🏴 Fly Your Colours (Literally) You asked, we delivered. You can now pick exactly which flags you want to wave with pride. We’ve added a whole lineup from across the United Kingdom—mix, match, and carry up to three at once. Triple the flags, triple the chaos.
Got a flag we missed? Slide into the Discord and let us know—no obscure county banner is too niche.
🎉 Bobble Heads Are Here (Yes, Really) Big news: DLC has arrived. Deck yourself out with UK culture–themed bobble heads and let your personality wobble proudly.
They’re weird. They’re wonderful. They’re waiting for you on the store page.
🧢 Meet the Roadmen Six new playable characters have entered the chat. Inspired by the finest urban yutes roaming British streets, they’re ready to cause (virtual) mayhem.
Don’t worry—no one’s asking you to say “wagwan” out loud… unless you want to. 👀
🐛 Bug Fixes & General Wizardry You report ‘em, we squash ‘em. Thanks to everyone in the Discord for helping us keep things running smoother than a cuppa on a rainy day. More tweaks, more fixes, more good stuff.
That’s all for now—get out there, wave those flags irresponsibly, and we’ll see you in-game.
Godspeed, flag lovers.
Your favourite flag-themed video game just got a fresh coat of… well, slightly less trash (depending on where you look). We’ve been hard at work cooking up v1.0.5, and it’s ready to wave proudly in the wind.
We’ve tinkered, tuned, and probably broken things (then fixed them again) to improve performance. Low FPS? No worries—graphics settings now actually work, so crank them down if needed and enjoy the smoothness.
Take a scenic stroll through rolling fields, questionable paths, and vibes that scream scream "bring a packed lunch".
Experience the hustle, bustle, and unmistakable charm of a proper High Street—minus the Greggs queue (for now).
Say hello to Winston, Norf FC, Lady Decade, and… a few mysterious others 👀 There are 7 new characters in total—can you find them all?
We’ve added a totally accurate representation of modern Britain: there is now litter on the ground. Immersion: achieved.
Hotfix 1.0.4.3 addresses several core issues within the project. With the recent and unexpected rise in player count (thank you for that!), more edge-case bugs started surfacing — especially in multiplayer.
To future-proof the experience, I’ve completely rewritten the server browsing and joining logic. Multiplayer should now be significantly more stable.
This rewrite lays the groundwork for future improvements. I’ve built a more flexible framework that will allow me to expand in the future. Big changes are: - Players can now correctly join a match in progress - Players will stay together after a match and return to the lobby together - Players will be automatically removed from a match if the player count is full
- Full games will not appear on the server browser There are still bugs with it no doubt but hopefully this makes for a more seamless and meaningful multiplayer experience.
Rewrote server hosting and joining logic
Added an “I’m Stuck” button in Settings in case players get trapped
Players can now walk off ladders instead of needing to jump
Fixed an issue where late-joining players caused gameplay music to play multiple times
Fixed a bug where scores were not correctly tracked on the level menu
Additional gameplay fixes and general tweaks
As always, thank you for playing and continuing to report issues. Your support is helping shape the future of the game.
Changelist: - Fixed an issue where players would randomly freeze and loose movement control - Improved the council NPC characters attack behaviour - Awarded more characters for finishing a game. Now you get 1 for C or B grades, 2 for A and 3 for S! Have fun patriots.
I’ve pushed a hotfix that cleans up a few small but annoying bugs affecting v1.0.4.
Thanks for the reports and patience — more improvements coming soon!
Full change list below:
• Fixed an issue where players couldn’t join a new game after finishing one and had to restart. This should now work as expected.
• Fixed a bug where the inventory system could become corrupted, causing unusable items to get stuck on the player’s back.
• Fixed an issue where NPCs would sometimes fail to attack or behave inconsistently. They should feel much smoother now (though not perfect yet).
• Fixed a problem where players could occasionally get stuck due to poorly implemented NPC attack logic.
Happy to report that the Steam connectivity crash has officially been squashed. This update significantly improves overall stability, and the build should now be much less prone to crashing for players.
Alongside a wave of optimizations and bug fixes, I’ve also added two brand-new characters to the roster:
Amelia and The Blob. If you know… you know.
To top it off, I’ve put together a brand-new trailer showcasing all the features and content added since launch — give it a watch and see how far things have come.
Onwards and upwards.

By popular demand! You can now switch characters directly from the lobby. Everyone will see your updated look instantly — no more backing out to change things up.
Your highest score on each map will now be saved and displayed, making it easy to keep track of which stages you’ve conquered with an S Rank… and which ones still need some love.
Dodge oncoming traffic, navigate the noise, and raise flags high on the overpass in this fast-paced new arena!
Soak up the sun and ride the chill vibes while competing on the sandy beachfront. Summer fun awaits!
Reduced online latency for smoother gameplay.
Balanced solo play for a fairer, more consistent experience.

Heavily optimized performance across all hardware for smoother gameplay.
Added an “Overall” Graphics Setting that benchmarks your system on first launch to automatically tune performance — this should fix many FPS issues players experienced on lower-end machines.
Refactored how characters spawn, resulting in major memory efficiency gains. This lays a solid foundation for adding more content without increasing overhead.
CHURCH — explore this fresh level!
4 new free “Military”-themed Soldier Characters have joined the roster.
🐞 Bug Fixes & Improvements
Better Physics
Improved overall physics for more responsive interactions with world objects.
Increased character “springiness” for more lively reactions to impacts.
Added a community-requested feature: Ragdoll Guards when hit by vehicles — enjoy responsibly! 🚗💥
Level Select
Introduced the foundation for a Map Select feature in lobbies. You can now choose which level to play instead of relying on random selection. This system will be expanded in future updates.
Driving Physics
Significantly improved vehicle handling to make it much harder to accidentally flip the van. While a major crash can still send you flying, normal driving should feel more stable and smooth.
Visual Updates
Added new skyboxes with improved colour palettes for all levels.
Upgraded materials on vehicles and assets, including new props for the Church map.
General Fixes
Numerous small bug fixes and polish improvements across the board to make gameplay smoother and more enjoyable.
Hey everyone! I’ve just added two new character packs to Raise the Colours: the ⚔️ Medieval Knights Pack and 💎 Supporter Pack!
Each pack introduces new themed characters to the game — a fun way to expand your crew and, if you’d like, support me and the continued development of Raise the Colours.
My goal is to keep the game free and enjoyable for everyone, but any additional support means a lot and helps motivate me to keep creating more content. Expect more updates soon!
In the meantime, please keep sharing the game, chatting about it, and sending in your ideas — I tolerate hearing from you all! Join the discussion or hop on our Discord through the links below.
