Hello spacers!
The big day has finally arrived. Quantum Void full version is now available on Steam :)
The state of the release will be watched closely for bugs or any other issues, and I will try my best to address them with updates as quickly as possible.
Some suggestions or improvements might be implemented too! Not all the plans made it to release and player suggestions are always of great value.
After that, the work on the Switch and PlayStation port will start. I am not providing timelines for now but when things start to be defined I’ll post.
I don’t own a SDK and I don’t know when the commercial version is coming out. But if anyone reads this and can test, or reads this after its release: would love to know how it runs on it!
After three years of development, I can’t wait to see how the game will be received, and to meet and discuss with the new players.
Since the early access release on Meta last year, a small community has started to exist on the official discord. Everyone is welcome here, if you want to ask something, offer a suggestion, participate in beta testing or simply chat, please join!
I will be active on Steam Community forums as well so if you don’t want to bother with discord, it’s perfectly fine too.
Quantum Void would not exist today if it wasn’t for the support and help of the community. All the wonderful players, testers, people who talk about the game, who share content and who manifest their enthusiasm.
Art is a human journey and y’all make it worth it.
Thank you <3
Cheers,

Hello Spacers!
Quantum Void will come out on friday, and I can't wait for new players to experience it.
In the meantime, I'm writing this blog post to address some technical details regarding handhelds PCs.
As a handheld player myself, I know how frustrating performances can be.
Quantum Void has been made with modest gear in mind. During the entire development, I tested every single one of the builds on SteamDeck.
The game runs perfectly, displays the right icons, does not have some sketchy launcher nor DRM (outside of the Steam default) and supports multiple resolutions. It should look great on the OLED version!
Even played plugged on a 4K TV, the framerate is still solid. Also tested on Lenovo Legion Go and ROG Ally, with locked 60FPS as well.
To be perfectly transparent, the only moment performance dips is during the jump phases, when loading assets. These phases have been designed for this exact purpose so the playability is not harmed, and it doesn't last more than a second.
The game does not have the "SteamDeck Verified" label as of writing these lines, but it should not take too long, it's a matter of verification.
If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask!
Cheers,
TacNours
Hey Spacers, great news!
Steam will feature full flatscreen (optimized for SteamDeck) and VR versions.
Here is the launch trailer:Don't hesitate to share it wherever you like! I can't emphasize enough how much this kind of community actions is important for indie gaming.
The changelog is so freaking long that it will be posted later on the website. New features include: - Spanish, Polish and Dutch - Graphics overhaul - Physics improvement - Heavy optimizations - Bhaptics support - Endings improvements and polishing - A metric ton of fixes - Many more!... All these cool new things have been on beta test and iterative development for the past 6 months. I want to once again thank all of you for allowing me to do this. Since last September, the sales of Quantum Void on Meta Quest were enough for me to pay rent and focus on developing it, improving it, and pushing to the quality standards players deserve. Being an indie dev is a dream coming true and I am forever grateful for the people who gave Quantum Void a chance. Whether they enjoyed it or not, it is something I cherish nonetheless. A thousand times thank you to those who participated in the beta, who took the time to share their thoughts, who tested every single new beta fixes, who shown their support and enthusiasm, who even worked on translations! To my friends and family who supported me the entire time. The game would not exist without you. Again, thank you.
