Hey everyone! This is a big one. You can now split your promotion into rival brands — two (or three) competing rosters under one banner — and setting those rosters up plays out as a full televised Draft Night! You can also finally run a separate TV deal for each of your shows, upload logos for your shows and PPVs, and there's a big pile of fixes and polish on top.
Split your one promotion into two or three rival brands, each with its own roster, weekly show, and championships — then let the crowds argue over which side runs the better show.
Name and color each brand. The color carries everywhere so you can tell them apart at a glance.
Brand rules are enforced across the board — a brand's show only books its own roster (the booker, Auto-Fill, and AI Book all respect it), a card that breaks the rules won't run, and the Booking Assistant tells you exactly what to fix.
PPVs stay cross-brand automatically, so the big nights still mix everyone.
Brand championships can only be defended on their own shows — leave a belt Global and both sides can chase it.
Cross-brand appearances — a per-segment toggle in the Segment Editor lets you sneak a wrestler onto the other brand's show for invasion angles, open challenges, and dream matches. Off-brand wrestlers are greyed out until you flip it.
Free Agents — mark any wrestler as a free agent (not tied to a brand) so they can work both shows. There's a Free Agents popup that lists everyone unassigned with one-click "assign to brand" buttons.
Everyone you sign gets a brand — pick it right in the contract negotiation; call-ups, poaches, and other signings auto-land on the thinnest roster so nobody slips through unassigned.
Schedule a Draft Day and it plays out like a televised event.
Watch it unfold — the on-the-clock brand in its own colors, a big pick number, slow dramatic reveals with wrestler portraits, crowd reactions, an analyst/fan ticker, and round-break "Draft Desk" beats.
Or make the picks yourself — when a brand's on the clock, draft from a fit-scored shortlist (with "Auto best available" and "Auto-pick the rest"), or just sit back and watch the whole thing run.
Auto-draft for an instant one-click redistribution, and improved roster balancing so the split is fair.
Choose whether free agents get thrown into the draft or stay unassigned.
Final results show — draft grades per brand, the night's biggest headlines, and fun superlatives (Biggest Steal, Best Value, Biggest Reach).
Set your opening rosters your way the moment you create a split — draft it live, make the picks, auto-split, or assign by hand.
Draft Day reminders hit your inbox, calendar, and dashboard, and the Brands tab lights up when it's time to run it.
Negotiate a separate TV deal for each weekly show — signing a deal for your second show no longer wipes out your flagship deal.
"My Deal" lists every active deal — flagship and secondary side by side, each renegotiable on its own.
The negotiate flow now tells you which show a deal is for, and a show's network picker only offers networks you've actually negotiated with.
Upload logos for your shows and PPVs in the World Editor — they now show up in Booking, TV Contracts, and on the Brands screen.
Better venue image upload and persistence, and they display properly while you're booking.
Each brand's color now shows on the roster board (a dot on every wrestler, plus a CHAMP crown on champions), the calendar (each brand's show gets tinted), the roster card backs, the booking projection strip, and the booked show's name — so you always know whose night it is.
World Editor pull/push is fixed for TV tier, show logos, PPV logos, venue images, and brand assignments — edits round-trip into your game reliably.
Fixed a World Editor spreadsheet import bug — imported wrestlers left without a company were sometimes accidentally signed to your promotion instead of staying free agents.
Cleaned up dead nav/search routes, and rival scheduled shows show up on the calendar again.
Sidebar activity glow is just the icon now — the tab keeps its normal colors; the icon goes gold when a tournament or Draft Day is waiting on you.
Rename your brands any time on the Brands screen.
Polished the Finance tabs/customization and the tournament desk (UX + performance).
A big pass of save-safety and regression coverage under the hood — World Editor templates, imports/exports, brands, media, and advancing time.
Thanks as always for playing and for all the feedback!
• Added Sandbox to the main menu for players who want to build a blank/custom world more easily.
• Added an Add Promotion path in the World Editor so custom worlds can add more companies/competitors.
• Fixed custom database start years so eras like 2013 no longer get forced back into 2026 date behavior.
• Made network deal imports safer for custom databases (targetRating, reach, fee, target, networkStrength) so imported worlds load with sensible TV deals.
• New default layout is cleaner, with the rarely-used "Your Week" card hidden.
• If you've customized your dashboard it stays as-is; if you never touched it, you get the new layout automatically.
• Added a "Recommended layout" button in Customize, and Reset now restores the clean layout too.
• Sidebar entries that contain grouped sub-tabs now have a dropdown arrow, so those sub-tabs are easy to find instead of being tucked away in the top tab strip.
• Sections with dropdowns: Roster (Tag Teams, Stables), Booking (PPV), Contracts (Free Agents, Talent Wars), Development (Scouting), Competition (World Intel, TV War), and Dynasty (Hall of Fame).
• Removed the redundant standalone "Teams" entry — it now lives under Roster.
• Dropdowns are hidden when the sidebar is collapsed — in compact mode the icon takes you straight to the main screen.
• Moved World Intel under Competition (between Competition and TV War), where the rival standings, territory, and inter-promo intel belong, instead of being buried under Press.
• Cleaned up Press and World News into standalone screens by removing leftover single-tab strips.
• Height and weight now default to ft/lb.
• Fixed the weight arrows not working in ft/lb.
• Added up/down arrows to the Height field (works in ft/lb and cm/kg).
• Holding an arrow now adjusts faster instead of one click at a time, for both height and weight.
• Renamed "Poach" to "At Risk" so it's clear these are your vulnerable workers, not rivals you can steal.
• Fixed signed workers staying stuck in At Risk — re-signing or defending now clears the pressure.
• Fixed defended poach offers lingering as active threats instead of resolving.
• Worker profiles now show their promotion after signing, matching current roster members.
• Fixed a profile crash when opening certain wrestlers after contract/poach updates.
• Fixed a scouting/development roster bug where a scouted worker could reappear in Scouting after being signed, developed, or called up.
• Signed prospects now properly leave the market, free-agent, and scouting pools when moved into Development.
• Called-up workers now sync correctly into the player roster and world ownership records.
• Promo recaps now show the actual participants instead of just listing the segment as "Promo."
• Run up to three weekly TV shows per promotion - a Flagship, a Secondary, and a Developmental show, each on its own night, just like the real promotions.
• Set them up in the World Editor (Schedule Template tab): name each show, pick its day, and assign a network - with a guard that stops you double-booking your own night (with an opt-in override if you want two on one day).
• Every weekly show is tied to a network deal. With a network it airs as a real TV show on that deal; without one it runs as a House show (gate/merch only, no TV check).
• Launch a 2nd/3rd show mid-game from the TV Contracts page - you can only sign with networks that are actually offering you a deal, and you unlock the slots by growing (TV tier + roster depth + an active TV deal; the Developmental show also wants a developmental program).
• Name a show on launch and rename it later from the Weekly Shows panel, which also shows each show's network and remaining contract length.
• Real tradeoffs - each extra show carries its own production cost, and over-booking the same wrestlers across every show tires the crowd of them (overexposure), so a deep, rotated roster matters.
• Freeform dashboard customization - drag cards anywhere, resize, hide, and rearrange them, with stronger guardrails so widgets no longer overlap or snap incorrectly.
• Widget swapping - drag a widget onto an occupied space of the same size and they trade places.
• New optional Dashboard widgets with themed styling and background art.
• Names, promotions, shows, and wrestlers inside the new Dashboard widgets are now clickable when they reference game entities.
• Rolled the customization out across all the pages: Competition, Empire Hub, Finances, Locker Room, Press, TV Contracts, Free Agents, Upgrades, Storylines, Staff, PPV Build, and Regions.
• Better borders/framing on Locker Room and Regions so customized sections no longer look like loose floating elements.
• Split grouped World News sections so each can be moved independently.
• Dragging a widget near the top or bottom edge now auto-scrolls the page, so you can carry a widget from the bottom all the way to the top.
• Re-showing a hidden widget now drops it right below your lowest widget instead of way down the page.
• Clearer Week Calendar background art on the Dashboard.
• Reorganized into three sub-tabs - My Deal, Offers & Networks, and Expansion - so the page is no longer one endless scroll.
• Each section now has a subtle tinted panel so it reads clearly over the page art.
• The Offer Board no longer scrolls inside itself.
• New Weekly Shows panel - see your lineup, unlock progress, and launch/rename shows.
• Retired the old "Second Weekly Show" broadcast project (the new weekly-show system replaces it) and added a new Production Overhaul project - upgrade your studio, lighting, and crew for a lasting production-value and audience lift.
• Reworked the default layout so sections are better organized.
• Fixed Broadcast Expansion appearing detached at the bottom and staying fixed while scrolling.
• Cleaned up the Offer Board behavior and button layout.
• New styled show picker - quickly switch which of your weekly shows (or upcoming PPV) you're booking from a clean dropdown.
• Improved the right-side guide panels at smaller window sizes (no more squashing/cutoff; the rail scrolls properly).
• Issue focus - the "Fix in..." buttons now filter and jump you to the affected area, with red outlines around the exact fields/sections that have validation errors.
• Issue focus now covers the whole editor, not just Titles.
• Fixed title vacancies not staying vacant after save, close, reload, or push to current game.
• Fixed promotion TV tier changes not persisting after save/push.
• Fixed promotion fan-count edits leaking into the active game.
• Added/updated guide steps for Dashboard customization and Genci/API settings.
• Fixed the onboarding flow getting stuck when Run Show was disabled before the scheduled show date - it now points you to advance to the next show.
• Onboarding now opens Booking through the side-nav flow.
• Fixed the final onboarding card's positioning/cutoff.
Game-wide visual overhaul — translucent glass panels and cinematic backgrounds behind every screen, with cleaner, more readable layouts throughout.
New custom backgrounds for major areas: Finance, Scouting, Settings, World Editor, and the Dashboard sections.
Custom artwork on the Dashboard's key widgets — CFO Summary, Mission Control, and Next Show.
Customizable dashboard-style layouts on more office screens — reorder, resize, hide, and restore widgets where supported.
Booking: more compact match and segment cards, clearer separation between segments, and smoother scrolling.
Larger championship belt art on the Titles screen so titles read at a glance.
The active sidebar tab now glows in its section's color, so it's always clear where you are.
Development Center: stronger panels and clearer section outlines for easier reading.
World News, Press, and World Intel: cleaner navigation and presentation, with better story-image handling.
World Editor: consistent background and logo treatment across its dashboard and tabs.
Tag Teams and Stables now show wrestler avatars consistently.
Readability passes across TV Contracts, Locker Room, Empire, Teams, and other office screens so text stays crisp over the new backgrounds.
Theme Studio updated to work cleanly with the new glass surfaces.
Existing Early Access saves remain fully compatible.
Inbox: clearing and marking messages now behaves correctly.
Various stability and navigation issues found during release testing.
This has been a long time coming, and I’m really excited to finally get it into your hands. PWW was built out of a long-time love of wrestling sims and a desire to create a game with deep customization, strong world-building, immersive simulation, and a world editor that gives players real control over the kind of wrestling universe they want to create.
At launch, you’ll be able to jump in and start building your own promotion, shape your roster, run shows, and create your own worlds with the editor. There’s already a lot here, but this is still just the beginning. Early Access is going to be a big part of helping shape where the game goes from here.
If you pick it up, thank you. If you run into bugs, have feedback, or have ideas for where you want to see the game grow, I want to hear it. That kind of feedback is a huge part of why I wanted to release the game in early access, and it’ll help make Promo Wrestling World better over time. Your feedback is priceless!
Thanks to everyone who has followed the game, wishlisted it, asked questions, and will be helping make it even better! It really means a lot to this solo developer!
I hope you enjoy Promo Wrestling World!
