Camp Leader Current Health Damage:
Camp Leaders within a Monster Camp now deal Current Health Damage, alongside some flat damage. This not only helps normalize the Health gap between Healing Junglers and non-Healing Junglers, but also helps ensure that Junglers are not always present and able to spam-gank on the map at 100% Health. As a result, Junglers will be more vulnerable while clearing their camps, and at a greater risk of being counter-killed when ganking a lane. In exchange, Hunt’s Slay effect now heals the User to help Junglers top up their Health, so plan accordingly!Full damage values and additional context can be found in the Balance Section below!Hunt Damage:
Hunt now displays the damage it deals on its Icon on the player’s HUD, making it easier to tell how much damage its Slay effect is doing!Jungle Camp CS Standardization:
All Jungle Camps have had their Creep Score (CS) value adjusted to be 5, making it easier for Junglers to track the number of Camps killed by their opponent in the early game, making the skill of CS tracking more accessible and intuitive to all Players, rather than just the top 1% that have memorized the individual CS values of each camp.Monster Special Ability Bug Cleanup:
We have adjusted both the Seedling and Mini Prime Area of Effect (AoE) Attack hitboxes to better match their visuals, as well as the Mini Prime Knockback Hitbox no longer lingering for a few frames!Blink/Ultimate HUD Indicator Enlargement:
The indicators that represent each team-mates Blink and Ultimate Ability availability have been enlarged, making them easier to see for all Users.\ Gamma Gloop:
- Replaces: Earth Spirit - Crestline: Titan Crest - 180 Health - 8 Physical Armor - 5 Magical Armor - Active Effect - Gob Glue: Deal 80 (+3% Bonus Health) magical damage in a 550u radius around you that Grounds Enemies hit for 1.5s. A field of Goo is then left behind at the location for 5s that Slows Enemies in the area by 30%. If this Active Effect is activated while mid-air, you leap into the air in your current movement direction, with Gob Glue’s Effects triggering upon landing.
\ Rebirth:

Hey Champions,
It’s balance time! Eternals totally shook up the meta since their arrival in 1.14, it’s been awesome to see how you’ve all been building and adapting with them. This update is a larger balance pass to correct some issues we’ve seen with Eternals. We’re expecting a little more will be needed until we find that sweet spot though, so keep your feedback coming in!
- Addition of some new Magical Power and Physical Power hybrid scalings to various Hero Abilities, opening up Eternal and Build diversity further. - Tower Durability & Damage increased. - Minion Durability increased. - Hunt’s Slay Damage increased to 600/1200. - Monster Durability increased slightly to compensate for the Hunt change. - Various adjustments and reworks to Eternal Blessings to help address problem-cases, or make the lesser-picked options more viable in strength compared to the more popular options. - Small increases to the base damage of various abilities (primarily Mages and Bruisers) to ensure their damage stays a little more relevant at the Level 3-9 thresholds as Durability spikes can result in the inability to adequately threaten kills at that range. - General Hero Balance to bring the extreme outliers further into general parity. - Buffs to some Fighter and Anti-tank Items. - ARAM Tower Durability/Damage increases. - And more!
Check out all the balance changes on our website!

How Eternals Works
Eternals are a new gameplay customization feature, replacing the Minor Augments. Eternals allow Players to select one of twelve Deities during the Draft Phase of a Match, based on their gameplay preferences. Each Deity offers the Player that selects them a powerful unique Major Blessing which is a Passive Effect that persists throughout a match.Additionally, after choosing an Eternal, Players can choose 2 additional Minor Blessings from 2 sets of 3 Minor Blessings that are unique to that specific Eternal.Eternal Blessings, like Augments, are active from Match start and, once selected for the first time, will be remembered across matches on a per Hero, per role basis, unless you change them. This means if you pick Eternals for Argus in Midlane, and want to play him again in your next match in the same role, the system will remember. If you take him into Support instead, it will go back to the recommended until you change your Eternals for Argus in Support. In simpler terms, you now start the match with:- 1 Hero Augment. - 1 Eternal Major Blessing. - 2 Eternal Minor Blessings.
Unlocking Eternals
All 12 Eternals will be unlocked when a player reaches level 10. Players that have not yet reached Level 10 will automatically be given pre-determined Eternals, and respective Minor Blessings, based on their Hero/Role chosen.Types of Eternals
Eternals are thematically grouped based on gameplay archetypes and lore. However, these groupings are not prescriptive for gameplay, so we encourage Players to experiment with the Eternals. In other words, this means that you do not necessarily need to take a “Carry Eternal” while playing as a Carry in order to find success, and could try a “Fighter” or “Supportive” Eternal instead if they synergize well with your Hero or Build! We’ve got another substantial update coming to Daybreak, our new WIP map! We’ve been hard at work going through your feedback from the last version to bring a bunch of highly requested additions and changes to improve the flow and overall gameplay experience.
V5 should improve the following core pain points:- Jungle flow should feel better in terms of Navigation and Pathing - Junglers attempting to gank lanes from a Camp should find the flow a lot more natural. - The constant pressure and chaos of the River Bugs in the Jungle respawning repeatedly should be reduced and the Jungle Bugs should make Jungle pathing feel more intentional and tactical. - Moments where a Player hits dead-ends due to unintuitive terrain and feeling trapped as a result should be reduced significantly. - Shrines grant side-lanes an additional mini-objective to fight over for increased interaction, reducing the frequency of freeze-heavy/overly passive gameplay. - The map feeling overly large should feel reduced through the combination of layout and aesthetic changes applied. - Game Speed should feel slightly faster and more engaging, with the additional gold and XP available on the map (and the adjustments to the objectives helping to provide new areas to contest) helping games to wrap up more naturally between the 25-35m mark. - Various Bugfixes regarding the Terrain and Collisions.
Overall, by taking our learnings from the feedback offered on v3/v4, and actioning the largest pain points expressed by Players in previous tests, with Daybreak v5 we have hopefully created something that Players enjoy a lot more, both in terms of moment-to-moment gameplay and how it feels to explore and navigate. So be sure to let us know what you think on Discord and Reddit!Terrain & Layout Changes
- General adjustments to the elevation/height around the map to feel less steep. - Full Rework of both Jungles, including their Terrain and Camp locations. - Lane entrances Reworked for all 3 lanes, further improving the approaches and Line Of Sight (LOS) issues in previous versions. - Increased the size of the Bases for both Teams, primarily around the Core area. - Fangtooth and Orb Prime Pits general Layout and Size Adjustments. - Midlane reworked with various adjustments to its curvature and landscape. - Duolane slight rework, primarily targeting improvements around the previously unhealthy Bush locations and the overly punishing gameplay they promoted. - Offlane slight rework, primarily to make the lane feel a little more interactive and dynamic on the edges of the lane, and less of an Island that made others feel unable to interact with it. - Distance between Towers and general spacing adjusted.
Shrines
- Added New Objective: Shrines - Locations: - Inner side of Duolane. - Inner Side of Offlane. - Initial Spawn Time: 120s. - Respawn Time: Every 120s. - Shrine Rewards: - Grants 25 Gold. - Grants 50 Global Gold. - Permanently grants the Killer +2 Ability Haste. - Grants a Team-wide Buff on Kill: - Shrine Buff: - Global Team Buff granting +8% Damage against Towers. - The Buff is twice as effective if both Shrines are controlled by the same team. - Buff Duration: 120s. - Shrine States: - Grey: Ready to Kill - Blue: Your Team has killed the Shrine and is gaining the Buff. - Red: The Enemy Team has killed the Shrine and is gaining the Buff. - Shrine Stats: - Health: 900. - Health Regen: 0.
Jungle River Bugs
- Jungle River Buffs Replaced with Jungle Bugs: - They are always the same type of River Bug and called “Jungle Bugs” to differentiate them: - Red Jungle = Orange Bug. - Blue Jungle = Pink Bug. - Note: For testing simplicity, they currently have the same stats and grant the same Buffs as their River counterparts, but do not Evolve. - Initial Spawn Time: 210s. - Respawn Time: 120s (No longer on a fixed 2m spawn cycle like River Bugs).
Gold & Cyan Buff Balance
- Gold Buff now grants more Gold, but less XP. - Cyan Buff now grants more XP, but less Gold.

It feels like it was just yesterday when we first told you that we’re working on a new map - and now we’re already on V3!
Thank you so much for participating in the map testing so far. Your feedback has helped us tremendously, shaping the map already - and continues to do so.
Here are the latest updates that you’ll see in V3:
Teleporters have been reworked, and their positions on the map have been changed to allow for easier access. The locations they transport you to are now more impactful to the map, influencing fights more significantly.
Jump pads have been adjusted to take you further into the lane - until the Tier 2 tower in that lane is destroyed.
Offlane has been reworked: the lane is now longer, and access points have been adjusted. We’ve heard your concerns about accessing offlane and the intimidation factor of the height, so we’ve made adjustments to make the lane more accessible. The lane length has been increased to reduce frustration, especially when dealing with high-mobility heroes.
Additional Bush types have been added to help junglers or roamers sneak closer to certain areas without being revealed.
Peeking side spots from duo lane have been removed. By removing the center pillar and reducing the width on the side walls, we’ve opened up more space and removed the advantage of right-side peeking.
Midlane has been reworked with adjusted access points. By removing the ring around the mid, we’ve allowed for more open gameplay while maintaining line of sight breakers, which will also help with roaming behind the Tier 1 tower.
Thanks again for your feedback - we’re excited to see how these changes improve your experience!
Don’t forget to tune in to the Spring Open Qualifier on our Twitch channel this weekend for the Semi-Finals and Finals, streaming Saturday at 2 PM UTC/ 10 AM EDT and Sunday at 2 PM UTC/ 10 AM EDT. As some of you may know, we disabled Frostfall in the last update. We want to let you know that this World Shift will remain disabled after March 24th, at least for the time being.

Hello Champions!
This time, we’re a little early - the schedule is a bit different as we want to ensure our PCC tournament is played on the most balanced build possible.
This is the first of two planned balance patches for V1.12. The first arrives on Tuesday, March 10th, with the second expected on March 24th.
This balance patch has big shoes to fill. V1.12 was one of the largest balance updates we’ve ever released - after all, every single Hero was affected. We’re very grateful for your feedback, and we hope you’ll find changes here that address your concerns.
Read on to find out more!
This update brings Daybreak V2 - a newer, improved version of our new map. It’s not final (V3 is already planned), but V2 should already address some of the biggest pain points we’ve seen, both from you and from our own testing, with Daybreak V1.
In V2, you’ll see:
Rebalanced Jungle - to account for longer travel distances, some jungle camps are now less durable (details are below in the game balance section).
Rearranged Jungle - to improve pathing, to make it slightly harder to peek into the jungle from lanes.
Offlane changes - widened the lane, with more places to hide.
Orb arena adjustments - updated size and more entry points.
Gold plants and Speed plants were added.
Bushes added and placed in strategic locations.
Shadow Pools removed as a result.
You can read more about the differences between Daybreak V1 and V2 in the blog here.
These bundles are available for a limited time only. All proceeds from bundle sales go toward funding our esports initiatives.
Speaking of esports, our Spring Open Qualifier is streaming next weekend - stay tuned!

Hello, Champions!
It’s almost V1.12, and we’re happy to say we’re SO BACK. V1.12: Neon Renegades arrives on Tuesday, February 24th, and it’s absolutely HUGE: from a brand-new Hero, N3ON, to kit changes across every single Hero, and even a new map coming to Labs for a limited-time playtest.
And that’s not all. There’s a lot waiting for you in this update - so without further ado, let’s dive into:
N3ON: a singer-turned-hacker, ready to disrupt the battlefield
Daybreak: a new map, available in Labs for a limited-time playtest
Neon Renegades Battle Pass: plus new cyberpunk-themed skins
Bug fixes and balance changes
Refer-a-Friend system overhaul
Ranked changes and a new split
Kit updates for every Hero
Let’s jump in - buckle up, it’s going to be a long one!
N3ON once stood beside Shinbi at the dawn of a revolution in sound, two young performers blending music and code to reshape live shows across Axion Prime. It was N3ON’s genius that created Shinbi’s iconic hard-light holo-wolves and turned stages into living canvases.
Then the spotlight narrowed. Branded a casualty of “creative differences,” N3ON vanished behind NDAs and corporate silence while Shinbi rose to planetary superstardom, one becoming a global icon, the other a ghost in the machine.
Now N3ON turns her talent against the system that cast her out: hijacking broadcasts, leaking secrets, and tearing at the entertainment empire’s polished façade. Cyberterrorist to some, whistle-blower to others, and a cat lover to all - all of her skills come in surprisingly handy on the battlefield.
Health: 630 (+109 per level) Health Regen: 1.2 (+0.15 per level) Mana: 405 (+28 per level) Mana Regen: 1.2 (+0.2 per level) Attack Speed: 125 (+1.7 per level) Physical Armor: 22 (+4 per level) Magical Armor: 27 (+0.95 per level) Physical Power: 52 (+3.3 per level) Movement Speed: 660 BAT: 1.5
Neural Network \:
Effect: Casting a Basic Ability grants N3ON a stack of Flow. At 3 stacks, the next Basic Ability Neon casts is Overclocked with an enhanced effect. Using an Overclocked ability consumes all stacks of Flow.
Jolt \:
Type: Ranged Effect: Ranged Basic Attack dealing 52 (+60% Bonus Physical Power) physical damage.
L.I.N.X \:
CD: 10/9.25/8.5/7.75/7s Cost: 55/65/75/85/95 Mana Effect: N3ON throws out her orbed digital familiar in a 1750u line, dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+40% Magical Power) Magical Damage to enemies it passes through. The orb then returns to Neon, dealing 40/60/80/100/120 (+40% Magical Power) True Damage on its way back. Overclocked: Before returning, the orb emits a pulse at its maximum range, dealing its return damage in an area around it at the initial return location.
Data Burst \:
CD: 14/13.5/13/12.5/12s Cost: 60 Effect: N3ON lobs a projectile. After 0.5s of landing, or upon colliding with an Enemy Hero, it explodes in a 400u radius, dealing 80/115/150/185/220 (+75% Magical Power) Magical Damage and Slowing all Enemies hit by 35% for 1/1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4s. Overclocked: Targets hit by the explosion are also Mesmerized for the same Slow Duration.
Erase Vector \:
CD: 16/14.5/13/11.5/10s Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 Effect: N3ON dashes in her current movement direction, Enhancing her next Basic Attack within 3s to explode on contact. It deals an additional 70/100/130/160/190 (+40% Magical Power) On-Hit Magical Damage to all nearby Enemies and Slows targets hit by 20% for 0.5s.
Neon is immune to damage while dashing. Overclocked: This ability can be recast once for no cost, within 3s.
Final Thread \:
CD: 120/100/80s Cost: 100 Effect: N3ON overclocks her own systems for 8s, gaining 15%/20%/25% bonus Movement Speed, 100% increased Jump Height, and causing all of her Basic Abilities to be permanently Overclocked for the duration. Recast: During Final Thread, Neon can recast this ability to jump upwards and launch an explosive bomb. The bomb explodes upon hitting Terrain or an Enemy Hero, dealing 140/210/280 (+55/60/65% Magical Power) Magical Damage in a 500u radius. The damage increases by up to 100% based on the Target's Missing Health.
Ghost in the Machine \: - Relevant Ability: Erase Vector \ - Type: Stealth - Effect: After dashing with Erase Vector, Neon becomes Stealthed for 1s
RAM \: - Relevant Ability: General - Type: Takedowns - Effect: N3ON gains 5 Magical Power and 25% Base Mana Regen on Takedown, stacking infinitely. At 3 stacks Neon gains an additional 5% Movement Speed. Upon death, Neon loses 50% of RAM stacks (rounded up).
Dox \: - Relevant Ability: Vision \ - Type: Utility - Effect: Neon replaces her Vision Tool with Dox, permanently granting her +8% Magical Power & +15% Maximum Mana. Activating Dox sends out a 3000u pulse, revealing any Heroes or Wards in the area for 4s.
As you might have heard from our dev blog, we’re bringing a work-in-progress version of our new map, Daybreak, to Predecessor as a Labs mode for a limited time, so you can experience it for yourself.
This is a really exciting moment. A new map has been one of the most requested features for years, and we’re thrilled to finally show you what we’ve been working on. But we’re not done yet, and we need you and your input to keep improving Daybreak.
For the duration of Daybreak’s availability - one week starting February 24th - we’ll be posting daily feedback questions on both Discord and Reddit. We’ll also be running surveys, both in-game and externally. Each day will focus on something different, so we can gather well-rounded feedback across all the map’s most important elements.
It’s more important than ever to jump in and share your thoughts. We can’t wait to hear what you think: after all, you should have your say on one of the biggest additions to Predecessor’s future.
You can learn more about Daybreak in the dev blog here.
With V1.12, we’re performing a ranked split. As always, you’ll receive an exclusive profile icon and banner corresponding to the highest rank you have achieved during the split. If you’ve won at least 15 ranked games during the split, you’ll also receive an exclusive Grim.exe skin, and a variant corresponding to the highest rank you achieved during the split starting from Gold Rank.
There’s still time to grind, as the rewards are getting distributed next week, which means you can still challenge yourself to achieve the higher rank, or win the 15 matches in order to unlock the skin!
As of V1.12, a placement phase will be introduced to Ranked. Since this is a split update, all Ranked players will enter placements and must complete a set number of placement matches to receive a rank.
The system is designed to quickly move you through the ranks and place you at an appropriate starting point for the split based on your placement performance. For this update, most players will need to play at least 5 placement games, though you may finish earlier depending on your results.
Going forward, new players entering Ranked for the first time (and all players at the start of a new season) will be required to complete up to 10 placement games to be placed.
Players must complete their placement matches before the end of the split to be eligible for Ranked rewards moving forward.
We’ve been hard at work making changes and improvements to the matchmaking system in response to player feedback. For now, these updates are focused on Ranked in EU and NA, but we’ll be improving other queues throughout the first part of the year as well.
Until now, Ranked matchmaking has not taken Rank and VP into account. Instead, it matched players using our internal MMR value, which we use to estimate player skill. This has been a common piece of feedback, so we’re changing how the system works to better align with player expectations.
Starting in V1.12, matchmaking will take both player Rank and VP into account to better group players of similar rank together. We will still maintain and use our internal MMR, but when creating matches, VP will now play a much bigger role.
Our goal is for the majority of matches to include players within a maximum spread of two ranks. Due to how flexible the party system is, this won’t always be possible (for example, Gold players can party with Bronze players).
We’ve been testing these changes in the live environment over the last few weeks at different times, and we’re ready to roll them out everywhere. We’ll continue working on the system post-release to address outlier cases as we find them, but we hope the Ranked matchmaking experience feels significantly improved.
As mentioned in the Competitive Blog, we’ve been tracking down a bug that often split high-ranked players into separate games, filling those matches with Platinum and Gold players. With V1.12, we’ve made improvements to this experience and will continue to iterate in upcoming patches.
Players should feel these improvements more clearly once enough players reach Paragon and Diamond this split.
Our goal is to ensure that players aspiring to reach the top of the Ranked ladder are given the most competitive matches possible as they climb. Part of that is doing our best to match the best 10 players currently in queue into the same game, and we’ll keep iterating until that’s consistently the case.
We are moving the Ranked Window on the OCE server 1 hour forward based on feedback shared on the OCE Community Discord. We are always looking at other ways to improve and grow ranked on our smaller servers so please keep the feedback coming.
Starting Saturday, February 28th, Ranked will now be open on OCE from 19:00 AEDT (08:00 UTC) until 23:00 AEDT (12:00 UTC).
If there’s one thing we haven’t been keeping quiet about, it’s Hero reworks. It has been a big undertaking and we are so excited to pass reworked Heroes into your capable hands. The last time we did this - back in V1.4 -it brought a breath of fresh air to the game and reignited interest in Heroes that were starting to be left behind.
Now, in V1.12, we’re back for more. Every single Hero has received changes, though some are more substantial than others - and we can’t wait to see what you think.
This section covers only the highlights. You’ll find the full list of Hero changes in the dedicated chapter below.
Narbash’s drums just got an upgrade! His secondary is now a permanently active toggle between healing and movement speed, and his primary applies a buff to whatever beat he’s currently playing. His passive grants Physical Power, Armor, and Magical Armor for each enemy around him, and Thunk has never hit this hard - now also knocking enemies back slightly. Crash! Bang! Boom! has received a huge upgrade too: it now applies a stacking slow that, at max stacks, charms enemies toward him.
Muriel received a huge rework, enabling her to be a stronger enchanter than ever. Her passive no longer grants on-hit magic damage - instead, her abilities apply anti-heal to enemies and grant healing buffs to allies. Her primary has been moved to her alternate, allowing it to be charged to apply devastating stuns to enemies hit. Her alternate is now her secondary, removing the attack speed element and focusing on a movement speed buff and a stronger shield instead. Her new primary creates an angelic light zone for a period of time, healing allies and damaging enemies, while also granting allies attack speed and reducing enemies’ attack speed. And to guarantee a clutch save, her ultimate now grants 50% damage reduction.
Terra puts her heavy armor to work! Her passive now grants bonus Armor while within turret range, and all abilities now scale with Armor, leaning fully into her tank fantasy. She’s a truly unstoppable force as her ultimate grants Armor and Magical Armor on top of Tenacity, while also disabling nearby towers. Yep, you read that right: Terra can disable towers now.
Any Shinbi fans? As of V1.12, she’ll be able to send her primary attack vertically, letting her fight airborne Heroes more effectively. Similarly, her alternate ability now allows her to dash upward, giving her more verticality. For her ultimate, she no longer builds stacks by hitting individual enemies—instead, she builds stacks on herself as she continues to damage enemies. Once fully stacked, she can unleash a whopping 8 wolves on everyone she’s damaged in the last 8 seconds.
Not only are Hero kits changing: for many Heroes, we’ve also upgraded their sound effects to bring them in line with the audio quality of newer additions, and to give certain abilities a bit more oomph.
All Heroes now share a consistent processing treatment for their ultimate VO. This improves gameplay readability, strengthens the sense of power, and creates a more immersive, cohesive audio experience across the roster.
Updated abilities include:
Khaimera - Passive
Grux - Secondary
Howitzer - Primary
Murdock - Primary
Muriel - Alternate, Primary
Sevarog - Alternate, Secondary
Steel - Secondary
Kira - Passive
Kallari - Passive, Primary
We’ve also updated several Hero ultimates to modernise their sound design - making them feel bigger, more powerful, and in line with our current standards.
Updated Heroes:
Gadget
Gideon
Dekker
Drongo
Narbash
Feng Mao
Fey
Greystone
Grux
Khaimera
Alongside the changes to Hero kits, we’ve also updated the UI for several Heroes to better support their unique mechanics.
Sparrow: Her reticle now displays a charge meter.
Revenant: You can now see how much ammo you have left beneath your health bar.
Muriel: When preparing to use her ultimate, you’ll now see Hero portraits to help you select the right target.
N3ON: She features a fun UI animation when using abilities in her Overclocked state.
We’ve also updated the UI to better showcase stacking (for relevant Heroes), and the level indicator should now be easier to read.
Friend Rewards are the next step in our friend referral journey. Ever since we launched referrals, we’ve been looking for ways to improve them, and we’ve heard a lot of feedback from you along the way, such as: they were difficult to access; they weren’t available in the game client; it wasn’t clear where referred players should enter the code; rewards were not rewarding enough, etc.
The good news: we’re improving all of this in V1.12.
The referral screen will now live inside the game in the rightmost tab in the main menu so there’s no need to visit external pages just to get your friends playing alongside you. Referral codes will also be shorter and easier to use.
Players will be able to claim awesome rewards, as the reward track has been overhauled. As before, both you and your referred friend will earn better rewards as they progress, starting with Amber payouts and Quantum Cores, and scaling all the way up to Platinum payouts to grab something nice from the store.
Hopefully you and your friends will find our upgraded referral system, Friend Rewards, a useful way to help each other out, supporting new players through the early experience, and providing cool rewards for the referrer as well.

As with every season, a new Battle Pass enters the stage - this one themed around high-tech, low-life aesthetics. It’s packed with the kind of content you love to see: exclusive recolours of the Renegade skin collection, including an exclusive Wraith skin (available for free!), special VFX, Opals, Quantum Cores, and more. This time around, it also includes Heroes, so if you’re a new player who hasn’t yet unlocked them all, you can equip the new skins immediately. If you already own the Heroes in question, you’ll receive an equivalent amount of Amber instead.

We’re excited to announce that with V1.12, we’re rolling out the first iteration of our new Predecessor Webstore!
The new Store (which you can find right here on our website) will be the number one place to stock up on Platinum, even on the go! You'll find exclusive Platinum bundles, letting you net more Platinum for even less when compared to our existing in-game bundles! The store supports all devices and various payment methods, meaning Platinum has never been so accessible (or cheap)!
And we're not done there! To celebrate this launch we're offering a further 5% discount on all bundles with the promo code NEON. You don't want to miss out!
Grab a bargain when the Store launches this Tuesday, February 24th.
The promised Hero Price changing is taking place in V1.12. As announced in the V1.10.2 patch notes, we’re adjusting the Amber and Platinum prices of several Heroes.
The prices of the following two Heroes will increase. This change reflects their increased complexity introduced in V1.4. We want them to be a little harder to acquire so new players are less likely to unlock them first.
Countess: Price increased from 860 Amber (200 Plat) to 3870 Amber (600 Plat)
Feng Mao: Price increased from 2150 Amber (400 Plat) to 3870 Amber (600 Plat)
The prices of the following Heroes will be decreased:
Gadget: Price decreased from 3870 Amber (600 Plat) to 2150 Amber (400 Plat)
Phase: Price decreased from 3870 Amber (600 Plat) to 2150 Amber (400 Plat)
Zarus: Price decreased from 6020 Amber (800 Plat) to 3870 Amber (600 Plat)
Iggy and Scorch: Price decreased from 8600 Amber (1000 Plat) to 2150 Amber (400 Plat)

Now that the Opal Store has grown to include a wider variety of content, we’ve decided to start rotating items in and out to keep the experience streamlined. Any content leaving the store will still be available as drops from Loot Cores, and will return to the Opal Store later in the year.
Over the course of the year, we’ll settle into a regular rotation cadence, keeping the Opal Store fresh and exciting.
We mentioned in our Competitive Blog that additional Replay fixes would arrive in V1.12. Unfortunately, they’ve been delayed and will instead ship in the next balance patch on Tuesday, March 10th, just in time for the Spring Open Qualifier, which will be played with these improvements in place.
For the duration of the Daybreak testing period, Nitro will be temporarily disabled to avoid splitting queues too much. The mode will return as soon as the testing period ends. For full patch notes containing full Hero rework details, balacing changes and bug fixes, please read here.
Hello Champions!
Time flies - it’s already the end of January, which means it’s time for the first balance patch of the year! As always, we’ve got a healthy mix of Hero and item changes, alongside a few small features you may enjoy (and find handy during matches).
This patch includes:
Minimap improvements
Social Screen improvements
New skins
Bug fixes
Let’s dive in!
There are a few minimap improvements that are finally ready and will be implemented in V1.11.2. These two changes are tremendously helpful, giving you plenty of new information at a quick glance.
First, we’re implementing one of the biggest requests when it comes to the minimap: a recall indicator. When a player is recalling, their character icon on the minimap will flash to let you know, so you can act accordingly.
Second, we’ve added numeric jungle camp respawn timers, allowing better planning for junglers and the entire team - you can now time your Fangtooth attack down to the second.
We’re looking forward to hearing what you think, Champions, and we hope you’ll notice an improvement in your matches.
We’ve also implemented a few neat changes to the social screen and friends list. While in the main menu, you’ll be able to see more information about players on your Friends List, including:
How long their current match has been running
Whether they’re in queue (and for which mode)
Whether they’re in a party (and if that party is full)
All of this makes it easier to find the best party to join and take advantage of that Party XP bonus!
In this patch, we’re making some tweaks to how we handle players going AFK.
First, we’re expanding the early match-ending functionality to ARAM and Nitro when an AFK player is detected near the start of a match. This functionality is already in place for Standard and Ranked.
We’re also increasing the severity of penalties for going AFK, dodging Ranked Draft, and declining to accept a Ranked match.
We won’t be sharing the exact thresholds or trigger conditions to prevent abuse, but we want to ensure the best possible player experience - so players who choose to ruin it will receive increasingly stern bans.

This effect also occurs on non-Heroes but is reduced by 80%.
Adjustment of Tower Hitboxes
We heard the feedback that the hitboxes of towers don’t align properly with their actual shape. We’ll be adjusting this in V1.11 to improve aiming precision and fairness while engaging with the towers.Show Who Killed Fangtooth/Orb Prime
A popular request that’s quick enough to implement - notifications for Fangtooth and Orb Prime will now include the name of the player who dealt the fatal blow. We’ll also let you know if the objective was stolen… just in case that information comes in handy for any revenge plans.Ranked Changes
Ranked is another part of the game that’s highly dynamic and frequently evolving, and it received its fair share of requests. We want to let you know that several of your requested changes to Ranked are being implemented in V1.11! You can find the exact breakdown of changes in the Ranked section.Play Any Hero in Practice
Starting in V1.11, you will be able to play any Hero in Practice mode, without needing to purchase them first! This change will hopefully allow you to find Hero fitting your playstyle more easily, test them more thoroughly and allow you to make better informed decisions before spending Amber or Platinum on them.Social Screen Improvements
We’re adding more at-a-glance information about your Predecessor friends! When you select a friend in the Friends List, you’ll see their level, rank, and VP displayed at the top of the options menu (where you can mute/unmute, remove friend, etc.).The Ultimate Hero Pack: Every Hero, Now and Forever
One of the most commonly requested features, especially for new players is the option to buy all of our Heroes in one go.We’re delighted to announce that we’re launching our Ultimate Hero Pack on the 21st of January, which instantly grants you access to our entire roster of currently available Heroes, plus every single new Hero we release in the future, at no additional cost. The bundle will launch with a 33% discount for $19.99 for the first 2 weeks until the 4th of February then returning to $29.99. The discount is only available on Steam, Epic and PSN stores due to platform restrictions. What’s included:Instant Access: Every currently playable Hero is unlocked immediately.
Lifetime Value: All future Heroes are automatically added to your collection at release.
Amber Refunds: Get an Amber refund for every Hero you already unlocked.
Stability Improvements
We have some major performance and stability fixes coming to the game (including quite a few for the PlayStation version - watch this space). They still need a bit more work before they’re ready to ship, but you can expect them soon - over the next few weeks.Daily and Weekly Challenges
You’ve asked for challenges to give you goals to work towards, and we get it! In fact, we’ve done a lot of groundwork for this feature already, but it still requires some additional time before we can consider it ready. However, now that we know just how much you’re looking forward to this feature, we’re hopeful it won’t be long before we’re able to introduce it to Predecessor.Different Crosshairs for Different Heroes
Another highly requested feature, particularly for Heroes like Revenant, Murdock, and Bayle. While it’s a great idea, it unfortunately didn’t fit within the scope of this update. Fear not, this request will very much stay on our minds for the future!Post-Match & Replay Build Visibility
Many of you upvoted the suggestions that pertained to the end of the match screen and replays - and one of the most popular ones asked for the ability to view player builds at the end of a match, while watching replays. We fully agree that this would improve the end of a match experience and would help learning experience. We are currently discussing the whole end of match experience because we think we can make several improvements there, and this will likely be part of that future work.Hero Customization Page
A popular suggestion to create a hero customization tab in the main menu, where players could adjust keybinds, cosmetics, and builds. This is an excellent idea, and something we’d love to work on in the future.Limiting Paragon Rank to 100 Players
We heard your feedback on increasing the prestige of the highest rank by strictly limiting it to a small number of players. We like that idea, we believe it makes plenty of sense, however, other Ranked system changes need to happen first before we can introduce this one, so this isn’t something we’ll be addressing in V1.11.Switching Heroes in Practice Mode
You’ve asked for the ability to switch Heroes without leaving practice mode. We sympathize with this, it would be a great QoL feature! This requires some work though before we can introduce it, more work that we could fit in before V1.11.Fog in the Jungle (from Shadows Eve Map)
This small visual effect, serving little more function than being a spooky flourish on the Shadow’s Eve map, has clearly charmed many of you, as it was one of the more popular suggestions. While we won’t be reintroducing it in V1.11, we wanted you to know that we’ve heard your request and will keep it in mind for the future especially in the design for our new map.Ranked Matchmaking Improvements - Coming Soon
We’re still working on a major improvement to the matchmaking system, one that blends VP and our internal MMR much more effectively when creating matches. It isn’t quite ready yet, but we’re hoping to ship it before the current split ends, so watch this space.SA
You really showed up, SA players! Ever since we launched Ranked in SA, we’ve been seeing awesome results, so based on the data, we’re happy to announce that SA Ranked will now be available every day!Starting January 13, on weekdays (Monday–Friday), Ranked will be open from 17:00 BRT (20:00 UTC) until 00:00 BRT (03:00 UTC). Weekend windows will remain unchanged.OCE & ASIA Ranked Test
The time has come - we want to test Ranked viability on OCE and ASIA servers! Please keep in mind that, for now, this is only a test that we plan to run for a few weeks. We may extend it if we see good results and healthy queues, but we may also end it early if Ranked negatively impacts matchmaking in those regions.OCE - Starting Saturday, January 10, Ranked will be open on OCE from 20:00 AEDT (09:00 UTC) until 00:00 AEDT (13:00 UTC).ASIA - Starting Saturday, January 10, Ranked will be open on ASIA from 22:00 JST (13:00 UTC) until 02:00 JST (16:00 UTC).

Enjoyed playing with a certain build? Let the creator know with an upvote! We're incredibly excited for this feature to launch and we can't wait to see what you've all been cooking up with your builds. As we hinted before, World Shift: Cataclysm was just the first iteration of the World Shift mechanic, and in 1.10 we’re making the system better in two big ways.
First, World Shift will now trigger at specific times with Shaper arriving shortly after. This marks a true end of the laning phase by opening up new routes through the map that you can use to make rotations, ganks, and strategic teamfights to claim the major team objectives, like Shaper, during mid-game.Second, we’re adding a whole new World Shift to the rotation, so you will experience greater match to match variety.Introducing World Shift: Frostfall. In Frostfall, the temperature drops so low that the landscape changes - massive ice formations begin to rise, creating new pathways which open up new routes, fresh vantage points, and sneaky flanks to catch unsuspecting opponents. We cannot wait to show you more about World Shift: Frostfall in the upcoming Livestream on 19th November!World Shift: Frostfall launches in V1.10 across Standard, Nitro, and Ranked.Tune in tomorrow for more news about something many of you have been asking for!
