The new Icefall area is here and a new boss has arrived. Cableghast can be fought in its arena past the door near the Cyclops in the Power Plant. Defeat Cableghast to reach Icefall, a snowy mountain town with three new NPCs: Snowfox, Penguin, and Mammoth. Explore shops, mine emerald rocks near the bank, and find the Icefall Mine’s high-tier rocks hidden behind an ice puzzle. Rancho Bamba now has a Taco NPC next to a Taco Truck. Taco Boxes cost gold and can be opened for taco-themed skateboards, hoodies, and an egg, including rare shinies.

Previously, these actions were still possible despite being 0 HP. - Fixed an issue where clicking “Exit to Main Menu” during a skate event brought up a confirmation prompt that froze player movement and left you stuck on an unwalkable tile.

Players who report bugs by joining the Discord can earn Hacker Boxes. No bug is too small to report, and bigger bugs will reward more boxes. Hacker Boxes usually give you a Hacker Skateboard, but sometimes you’ll get a Hacker Hoodie, shiny versions of these, or even a Hacker Egg that hatches into a Hacker Pal that follows you—and yes, there’s a shiny version of the Hacker Pal too. This update also fixes Pal fishing issues that were causing lag.

Added “Make X” support for Smith, Smelt, Pack, Cut, Craft, Disintegrate, and Sacrifice. These now process all matching items with one click. Skill Guides UI now expands on wide screens, showing all categories that fit on screen. This should help players easily find recipes like “sticks” when training the Steel skill. Pal UI now has Health Bar and Current Task sections swapped to make task assignment clearer. Main Menu Character Shop now shows a live countdown to the daily reset. Eggs now gain progress from tiles traveled during skate jumps.

- Fixed a bug that caused players—especially those on EU devices—to get stuck in an infinite loading screen when entering the world on Steam. - Fixed an issue where other players' chat messages would stop appearing above their heads after about 10 minutes of conversation. Messages still appeared in the chat window but no longer showed in-world. - Fixed a server lag issue caused when players with very large banks (e.g., @marchontwitch :ogchickenhoodie:) withdrew items, causing noticeable performance drops. - Fixed a bug where Pals could place gold into a secondary inventory slot, creating two separate stacks of the same item. This wasn’t a duplication issue, but it caused confusion.

- Worlds can now be PvP ON or PvP OFF. PvP worlds allow player combat. Non-PvP worlds are safe from player combat. - New friends menu added. You can now add/remove friends and see who’s online and what world they’re in. - New options menu added with access to PowDex, PowPass, Friends, and Exit to Menu.

Now, when a shiny pal hatches (1/100 chance), it comes with a shiny item in its inventory. There’s a 50/50 chance it will be either a matching shiny skateboard or a shiny hoodie. You can also grind for these shiny items, with shiny skateboards dropping at 1/2,000 and shiny hoodies at 1/100,000 from any NPC in the game, including bosses. The only exception is Skelefriend, who has ultra-rare rates. (1/100,000 shiny skateboard / 1/1,000,000 shiny hoodie) This update also includes a brand-new PowDex UI, plus pals can now equip skateboards and tools!
