The 3-dart averages of amateur, semi-pro and professional opponents have been reduced to EASY. Unusually frequent spikes in NPC performance on EASY have been reduced. NORMAL and HARD remain unchanged.
Controller navigation has been made more reliable and predictable in numerous menus. The tournament selection in the career calendar has been improved.
Lost menu focus is now restored more reliably. When switching back from the controller to the mouse, the mouse pointer is displayed correctly again.
A bug has been fixed whereby a won Cricket training run was not always registered for the corresponding skill point.
Text overlap under ‘Difficulty’ in the German practice view has been fixed.
The persistent flashing of the ‘Cancel’ button in the dialogue for new career save files has been fixed.
Tooltips and buttons in the career save file dialogue no longer overlap.

Pixel Darts: From Pub to Glory has just been launched! ♥ I hope you all have lots of fun with the game.
If you have any questions, comments, feedback or bug reports, please just start a thread directly on the Steam Community Hub. I’ll try to address any issues as soon as possible and will then share the updates in the patch notes.
Have a great weekend!
Last weekend, another wishlist milestone was reached, which has made me absolutely delighted. Over 500 gamers have now added Pixel Darts: From Pub to Glory to their Steam wishlists.
At the start of the development process, I would never have believed that the game would achieve such a wide reach, and at the same time, it’s making me a bit nervous ahead of the launch this Friday (17 July 2026). I hope you all have fun with the game and find throwing the darts just as interesting and ‘addictive’ as I and the playtesters did.
Before the release, I’ll be trying to get Steam achievements ready and integrated into the game!
I actually prefer playing the game on my ASUS ROG Ally and the Steam Deck. In my view, it’s turned out to be a successful casual game that nevertheless has a certain depth of gameplay and an addictive quality, which makes you absolutely want to play just one more round to achieve an even better leg or finally beat the NPC you’ve always lost to in a best-of-five series.
I’ll of course be posting an event update on Friday to mark the launch. In the meantime, I’d like to ask you all to report any bugs or feature requests directly on the Steam Community Hub – either as a thread or via a direct message to me. The game has been tested on a variety of machines, so hopefully the launch will go as smoothly as possible. After launch, I’ll of course roll out any bug fixes or similar updates as quickly as possible.
Many thanks to everyone who has added the game to their wishlist or is planning to buy it! I’d be absolutely delighted if – provided you enjoy the game – you could write a review here on Steam or share it online or with friends.
Thanks!
The launch of Pixel Darts: From Pub to Glory is in the final stages, and I’m delighted to be able to present another new feature here, which will be integrated directly into the game at launch. Let me introduce you to: the World Tour in Arcade Mode! 🔥 Who doesn’t recognise that feeling from old-school arcade games, when you’re on a long run through different stages against increasingly tough opponents, and after minutes of gameplay you’re on the verge of beating the final level – only for your nerves to let you down at the last minute, forcing you to start all over again? The arcade games you’ll recognise from the demo will be integrated into the full game as ‘Single Match’ mode. The Arcade Mode is expanded by the ‘World Tour’, which includes local and global Steam leaderboards, as every completed World Tour run is also scored, so you can try to beat your own or the world’s best high score with every run! Specifically, there will be three different circuits available as part of the World Tour at launch:
UK: this is essentially darts’ home turf; here, you’ll compete in venues across the United Kingdom against players from England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland!
Europe: the action takes place in continental Europe! Take on European opponents in Germany, France, the Netherlands and Ireland, and pit yourself against the very best!
World: Opponents from all over the world in locations from all over the world!
The World Tour Runs are structured so that there are a total of six stages which the player must complete. You cannot save your progress in between stages, nor can you change your player or darts. As soon as you lose, the run is considered lost and the high score is calculated. The difficulty increases with every stage! Matches are always played as best-of-one (BO1), and the player gets to throw the first leg. The World Tour Runs are designed to allow for fast-paced, action-packed gameplay, whilst also giving players a sense of progression through the increasing difficulty of each run. And let’s be honest: what could be better than finally completing a run after your tenth attempt? A complete run, assuming you complete all six stages, takes around 15 to 20 minutes! What do you think of this new mode? Do let me know!
I know 200+ wishlists is a small number for most indie games. But for me, it's honestly far more than I ever expected. When I started Pixel Darts: From Pub to Glory, I was just a darts fan trying to build the game I always wanted on PC and Steam Deck, with that old 90s-arcade energy (think Street Fighter) but on a dartboard. Honestly, I never would've imagined this many people would even notice it. So, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you!
It might not sound like much, but every single one of those wishlists encourages me to keep pouring my free time into this project. In the end, it's just a hobby project from a solo dev who hopes that other players find this game fun to play!
In case you're new here, what even is Pixel Darts: From Pub to Glory?
🎯 Throw the darts: aim, pull back, flick, release. Mouse or controller, tuned hard for handhelds (Steam Deck or others).
🏆 Arcade mode: every run gets scored and ranked on a live worldwide Steam leaderboard, which is already playable in the demo in a limited version. In the full game you can do stage runs on the World Tour (you need to beat six consecutive opponents to go through).
📖 Career mode: a hand-written story, rivals to beat, and a climb from the pub to glory.
🍺 League mode: build your own league, with your own rules.
The free demo is live since a few days. Jump in, throw a few legs, and put your name on the worldwide leaderboard.
The full game is set to release on July 17, 2026, and it's still very much a work in progress. If there's any feedback you'd like to give to me, just message me!
And if you haven't yet, a wishlist really does help a small solo project like this more than you'd think. 🙏
Thank you for being here. See you at the oche.
