Hello everyone!
As we reach the end of Photomaly’s fourth day since launch, I wanted to take a moment, as the game’s solo developer, to sincerely thank you and share how I have been feeling.
First of all, thank you so much for the incredible interest, support, and feedback you have shown since release.
Photomaly is my first game released on Steam, and seeing it sell more than 10,000 copies within its first 24 hours is a feeling that is genuinely difficult to put into words. This milestone means more to me than I can properly express.
Ever since the game launched, I have been reading all of your feedback, following every discussion post, and watching as many streams and YouTube videos as I can find. I have also been working to investigate the technical issues you have reported and release quickfixes as soon as I can properly identify and resolve them.
During the development of Photomaly, I felt that I had already learned an incredible amount. However, the feedback you have shared since launch has taught me even more.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to give the game a chance, to everyone who created videos or streamed it, and especially to those who went a step further and shared their honest thoughts through reviews, whether positive or critical. Every piece of constructive feedback helps me understand what worked, what did not, and how I can improve both Photomaly and my future projects.
In the coming days and weeks, I will continue following your reports and discussions, and I will keep doing everything I can to bring Photomaly to the best version it can be.
Thank you for making the launch of my first Steam game an experience I will never forget!

Corrected an inaccurate French translation in the message displayed at the end of the game.
Fixed a save system issue that could cause certain story-related photos to appear corrupted after loading a saved game.
Thank you for continuing to report these issues!
Added an FPS limit option to the settings menu.
Previously, the game could use unnecessarily high GPU resources on powerful systems due to running at an uncapped frame rate. Players can now set an FPS limit to reduce GPU usage.
The following changes affect two sections later in the game:
The stun duration of the mannequin in the Backrooms section has been increased to make the sequence more manageable. After the player is caught three times, the mannequin will also move more slowly.
In the voice-input sequence, the first attempt remains unchanged. However, if no voice input is detected during the second attempt, a button option will become available after five seconds. This means players will no longer need to fail twice before accessing the alternative input method.
Thank you for all the feedback. These adjustments were made to reduce unnecessary frustration while preserving the intended experience.
Updated the mouse input system to address an issue affecting some Bluetooth and wireless mice, where the camera could suddenly flick or snap in a random direction.
Fixed an issue on Day 4 where the order panel could disappear after reaching a specific point in the game.
Thank you for continuing to report these issues!
Fixed a missing collision in one of the dream sequences that allowed players to clip through a wall.
Addressed an issue where controller input could interfere with mouse dragging and make certain interactions difficult or impossible to use. The game should now prioritize mouse and keyboard input whenever they are being used, even if Steam Input or a virtual controller device is detected.
To be honest this is my first time implementing controller support, so I am still working through some unusual device and input configurations. The mouse dragging issue should now be resolved, but please let me know if you continue to experience it.
Thank you for all the reports and feedback!
Today's the day, my debut Steam project as a solo developer is finally available on Steam. Thank you to everyone who previously played the demo, wishlisted the game and showed support over the last few months.
The full release of Photomaly expands significantly on the demo and sees the story unfold over additional in-game days, new mechanics introduced and plenty of surprises...
If you run into bugs or something feels off, let me know in the discussions or in my Discord server. I'm around and will work hard to make sure everyone has a great experience.
Thanks for wishlisting, thanks for the patience, and hope you enjoy your shift.

I’m excited to share that I hope to release the full game by the end of Q2 this year!
The reaction to the demo has been incredible, and I can’t wait for you to experience the game in full really soon.
Thank you for your support
Finally, a massive thank you to all of you! We officially hit 17,000 wishlists recently, and a lot of that is down to the love that’s been shown for Photomaly already, both from players and streamers too.
To celebrate, I’ve created an official Photomaly Discord server! You can join it here:
Seeing everyone's reactions to the game has been so much fun, and creating a space for the community to chat, give suggestions, report bugs and hang out is super exciting!
Whether you’ve been following the project for a while or just discovered it recently, I’d love to have you there.
I’ll also be posting more on the Photomaly social accounts, so make sure you check them out for more content.
Thanks again for all the support, more updates to come really soon 😊
