Hi everyone !
First, a word about what I've been up to lately. I'm taking a short break from game dev until mid december to do some woodworking for an upcoming holiday's market. I'll keep an eye on the game to see if everything is going smoothly, but don't expect any new content in the near future.
NEW ENCYCLOPEDIA ! You can access it in your settings menu, and see every slot/items/monster you've encountered as well as some cool informations about it :)
NEW CHARACTER : SPINOCCHIO ! He's really special as you can fully customize his slots and equipments at the start of the game! What crazy builds will you think of next ?
NEW SLOTS ! These have been available in the prerelease for a few weeks, but they are now available in the base game ! I won't spoil what they are but I can assure you they are preeeetty cool.
Reworked the Jack Pott character to make it a bit more unique, he can now reroll basically everything, wich should make for an interesting playthrough !
Made some balancing tweaks to monsters XP and Bounties
Fixed the softlock when encountering an event that transforms into a crucible and locks you out of any options
Fixed the crown unlock on characters when finishing the game but not going into endless mode
Misc missing texts on slots
A bunch of other small bugs I forgot because I fixed them in the previous prerelease versions (see previous update notes for details)
Feel free to share ideas for what to add next in the community hub !
As always, thank you so much for playing!
Peace
Pierre
Hey all!
What's new ?
An encyclopedia showcasing every slot, item and monster you encounter during the game with additionnal information and some flavor texts, available in the Settings menu
The Jack Pott character now has a special power to make it more unique (he can reroll pretty much everything but does not earn coins when defeating an enemy)
20 new common / rare artifacts with cool effects !
Clarified how status effect works in their description (mainly describing how each status effect decreases over time)
Some bugfixes as well :
Fixed the repair bug in the shop
Fixed characters not getting the crown if you don't go into endless mode afterward
Fixed some missing icons in texts
Fixed softlocks when encountering an event that transforms into a forge (only happens if you have nothing available for a merge)
Did a bit of rebalancing on enemy XP and Bounties
This will most likely be the last bit of content I add before releasing the 1.1 update to the public.
This version will sit for a few days until we've had time to properly test it, then it will released on the main branch!
Enjoy, and as always, thanks for playing!
Peace
Pierre
Hi everyone!
If you want to try it, go to the game's settings on steam and enable the pre-release branch in the "Beta" menu !
This new version includes a bunch of bugfixes as well as 12 new slots to try !
I'm leaving home for the rest of the week for a trip I had planned months ago, that's why this release is not official yet, as I won't be able to fix any bugs until monday.
Enjoy the new slots, I think you will enjoy them (there are some pretty broken builds you can do with them ;)
Cheers!
Pierre
Hi all !
NEW ENDLESS MODE, you now have the choice to continue in your adventure after defeating a final boss,
NEW UPGRADE/INCREASE/DELETE SLOT mechanic. Mostly similar as the previous version, but increasing a slot and destroying it must be bought as "standard upgrade" (ie the random ones after each battle)
NEW MONSTERS !
NEW DEFENSIVE SPELLS
NEW STATUS EFFECTS !
Better informations about what's going on during your turn in the combat (value bonuses, slots effects etc),
Some balancing tweaks
Fixed a nasty crash in certain events (well, altar...)
Tomatoes now disapear for the entire combat when they reach 0
Defense slots and walls can no longer be increased
Added a few missing infos in the UI (current floor, max lvl, slot types etc)
