• Updated CPUID module to improve compatibility with latest hardware. This update fixes one common issue with AMD CPUs that caused random failures during CPUID scan.
• Updated GPU detection module to improve compatibility with latest hardware.

This major update upgrades all previously packaged 32-bit applications used by PCMark 10 to their respective 64-bit versions. This follows industry trends as support for OpenCL 32-bit has been deprecated on modern hardware. Most notably, this update means PCMark 10 is now compatible with systems using the following hardware and drivers:

• NVIDIA 50-series GPUs with 580.xx drivers and later.
• Intel hardware with a clean install of the latest driver from 2025, which resulted in the 32-bit OpenCL runtime to be absent.

This update affects the App Startup, Web Browsing, Spreadsheets, and Writing workloads in the PCMark 10 Benchmark. Scores from PCMark 10 version 2.3 and later are not comparable with scores from earlier versions of PCMark 10. The system benchmarks DLC pcm10-system-benchmarks has been updated from version 1.1.988.0 to 2.0.1057.0. The Digital Content Creation and Gaming workloads in the PCMark 10 Benchmark are not affected. • Improved retry mechanisms and fallback options in case an unsupported device is selected for running a workload.

V2.2 availability PCMark 10 v2.2 is available for users who have purchased PCMark 10 via the PCMark 10 Steam beta channel under “PCMark 2.2” branch. This can be toggled by:

• Right click PCMark 10 in Steam
• Properties
• Beta tab
• Set Beta Participation to "PCMark 2.2"

The Steam Demo version cannot be reverted to an older version.

This update contains several quality-of-life updates to PCMark 10 and includes changes to how OpenGL is used in Writing and Spreadsheets workload. Tests featuring workloads using LibreOffice Writing and Spreadsheets may see minor (~1%) score differences. Updated

• Benchmark workloads now run in 64-bit mode by default on ARM devices.

Fixed

• Fixed an issue where the information on the selected OpenCL device was sometimes missing or incorrect in benchmark results. Devices are now identified and reported based on the vendor and device name.
• Fixed an issue where benchmarks with LibreOffice Writing and Spreadsheets workloads would crash on devices with very high core counts.
• OpenGL is now disabled by default in LibreOffice Writing and Spreadsheets workloads. UI includes an option to enable OpenGL for these workloads. This has a very minor impact on scores (~1%).
