Hey everyone,

After more than 3 years in Early Access (dear god), 3000 community Workshop packs, Party Quiz will release as 1.0 on 30.07.2026

Rest assured that I will be supporting the game, adding new features and fixing bugs even after release.

Heads-up: the price will go up before the release (probably to $11.99), so soon enough, during the Summer Sale, it's the lowest it will ever be.

Hey everyone,

In the last few months I've received a lot of bug reports regarding question synchronization between players.

I've refactored the sync system entirely from scratch.

Games should be synced properly without any softlocks whatsoever

If you encounter any desync between players in a game, feel free to let me know using the 'bug report' button. It's my priority to make the game as stable as I possibly can

In the end, it's my ultimate goal to give you a platform to have a nice and cozy time with your friends and family

Stability fixes and improvements

New Party Quiz update is here!

An audio editor has been introduced, allowing you to adjust the length of the audio, its volume or speed:

If you don't have a TTS (text-to-speech) voice installed in your system, or if you're tired of the voiceover, you can change the TTS engine to be based on the waka-waka synthesizer, which creates this funny voice-like speech pattern:

Fun (in my opinion) mouth animations are introduced:

You can now applaud during the introduction sequence and the endgame

Game creation sequence navigation panel now has these dots icons so you can orient yourself better creating a new game

Additionally:

• Multiple custom avatar upload fixes

• Multiple video playback fixes

• Available AI host calculation improved (used to leave some actually available ones behind)

• Multiple minor fixes and improvements

When you launch the game for the first time, it allows you to select a few interests and gives you a selection of packs that match your interests:

There is an instruction that allows you to get more TTS voices ('Get more voices' button):

Each pack now shows you some extra information when you hover over it:

• 26 more achievements

You've voted for the feature I should implement next, and so here's what's in there:

A new Pack testing mode (available from Constructor -> Pack editor -> Pack review)

It allows you to manually review your pack and assess if the answers align with the questions without hosting a full game

Join a game using a QR code (hover over the QR code to zoom in on it)

Some other minor bug fixes and improvements

Graphics settings have been added to the game (each has a detailed in-game explanation of what it does with the picture)

• In-game pause now works properly (only for screen sharing mode)

• TTS can now be completely disabled instead of lowering the volume to 0

Hello everyone!

Update on the game translation. I've split Spanish - Spain and Spanish - Latin America (previously it was one language, which wasn't quite correct). I've also translated the game into Kazakh, Swedish, Korean, and Japanese.

Next up are Dutch, Portuguese - Brazil, and Hungarian. If you'd like to see a translation in your language, now is the time to let us know!

- New, more polished UI, with new buttons

Hey people, I've finally translated the game to Arabic and Czech.

More languages are coming. I'm focusing on Eastern Europe now (Hungarian, Romanian, Latvian...), but if you want to propose a language to translate the game to, feel free to let me know!
