A small dog has now found its way into your brasserie. When starting a new game, it will begin as a puppy and gradually grow into an adult dog over time. Its role is purely cosmetic and it has no impact on gameplay, but it will add more life and personality to your establishment.

Thank you for your support and your many feedback reports, which continue to provide a strong foundation for improving the game. Parisian Brasserie Simulator gets better every day thanks to your suggestions, feedback, and support. Feel free to join our Discord to share ideas, report bugs, or simply chat with the community: Discord https://discord.gg/BcDbU6dgF9 You can also check out our updated roadmap to see what's coming next: Roadmap https://trello.com/b/BoJrpQUT/parisian-brasserie-simulator After analyzing your feedback, gameplay tests, and countless hours spent watching players interact with the game, we have adjusted our priorities for the months ahead. Our goal for future updates is to continue reducing repetitive tasks by introducing more interactions, gameplay opportunities, and decision-making, helping break up repetitive gameplay loops and making each day feel more dynamic. This direction already begins with Update 0.9.0, which introduces several new interactions such as cleaning, dishwashing, and drunk customers. A brand-new brasserie and a completely redesigned kitchen are currently being created. These will be much closer to how a real restaurant operates and will gradually introduce more depth to restaurant management. Some of the features currently planned include:
I am happy to present today the 0.8.5 update, a highly anticipated update for many players using controllers.
Please do not hesitate to share your feedback after testing so we can quickly fix any potential issues we may have missed.
The game is now fully compatible with Xbox controllers as well as PlayStation controllers through Steam Input.
For PlayStation controllers, Steam Input will automatically convert PlayStation inputs into Xbox inputs. The game is therefore fully playable with a PlayStation controller, although the displayed icons will remain Xbox icons.
The virtual keyboard is also available through Steam Big Picture on PC, allowing players to play without a physical keyboard for any text input requirements.
If you previously played the game with a controller, it is recommended to review your controller bindings in the settings, as two new control options have been added.
The game is now also fully compatible with Steam Deck.
It has been tested on Steam Deck OLED with very good performance results and full controller compatibility, including virtual keyboard support whenever text input is required.
The game is now available on NVIDIA GeForce NOW.
Players who own the game on Steam can now also play it through the GeForce NOW cloud service, especially for lower-end configurations experiencing performance issues.
Improved compatibility with non-standard resolutions and fixed several fullscreen-related issues.
Thank you once again for all your support ❤️
Stay tuned, update 0.9.0 is coming very soon. Here are a few hints:

Update 0.8.0 is now available! This highly anticipated update finally opens the doors to the rooftop along with the new cocktail system. Here is the list of changes.
Tier 3 is now available and grants access to the rooftop. This new floor introduces:
A brand-new environment: the rooftop with lounge tables that can be placed both on the rooftop and on the ground-floor terrace, as well as classic tables and decorative elements to customize your space
A fully interactive cocktail system: prepare cocktails using a shaker, pour them into glasses, and add toppings. A cutting board allows you to prepare certain ingredients. Bartenders can also prepare cocktails
A DJ to unlock and place on the rooftop: you can call them for €200 to start the music. Their presence increases tips by 5% to 20%
Spotlights to enhance the nighttime atmosphere
9 new rooftop-themed dishes: - Grilled octopus plate - Caviar & foie gras blinis - California rolls - Burrata quinoa salad - Avocado toast - Buddha bowl - Tuna tataki - Charcuterie board
Complete visual overhaul of drinks: all beverages have been reworked with new glasses and textures to match the visual quality of dishes
Tier 3 will continue to evolve with new decorations and features in future updates. Feel free to share your ideas.
The drink management system has been fully redesigned based on your feedback. In advanced gameplay, drink service became too slow, mainly because bartenders had to walk to each table. This system has been reworked to be both more fluid and more realistic.
Drinks are now ordered via the tablet
Orders appear in the Orders tab, with their floor and assigned table
Bartenders assigned to a floor automatically take and prepare orders
Once their tray is full, they place drinks on the bar
Waiters then pick them up from the bar and serve them, just like dishes
Based on our tests, this system is now much more fluid.
A claim system allows players to reserve an order from the tablet. A claimed drink is no longer visible to other players or handled by employees, avoiding duplicates. If you play solo, claiming is not required. When placing a drink on the bar, it will automatically match an existing order if one exists.
Each drink can be linked to a specific table. When carrying a drink, a green overlay appears around the corresponding table to indicate where it should be delivered.
A dedicated tutorial will be shown when loading an existing save or during the prologue.
A new elevator, essential for accessing the rooftop, has been added. It can be used by players, employees, and customers. It has been designed for efficiency: instead of a real-time movement, usage is instant to avoid wasting time during service.
Click the elevator to be instantly teleported to the selected floor
Select the floor using the mouse wheel while aiming at the elevator
A visual indicator above the elevator shows the selected floor
Each player has their own independent saved target floor
The system is also designed for rush situations: you can keep moving and sprinting while using it, allowing seamless movement after teleportation.
A tutorial will be shown in-game.
Progression has been significantly accelerated and improved based on your feedback.
+1 toque per day
Tier progression now at 75% completion
Increased XP gains
Reduced toque costs
Tier 2 rebalanced
A new game mode is now available when starting a new game: Sandbox.
All 3 tiers unlocked from the start
All employees (waiters, bartenders, chefs) available immediately
All dishes unlocked and can be freely enabled/disabled
Progression based only on money
Starting money increased to €10,000 (instead of €5,000)
This mode lets you play freely without progression constraints while keeping the economic gameplay. You can also take out a loan via the in-game computer (Internet and Bank apps) to accelerate your development.
New employees have been added to improve service flow:
16 waiters
10 bartenders
6 chefs
Note: They are distributed across all tiers, including existing saves.
Lamp rework: now static and no longer movable (replaceable and customizable)
This change improves visual quality. Since lighting is now static for performance reasons, each lamp properly lights its surrounding area, creating a more realistic and visually pleasing result.
(In a future update, Lumen lighting and hardware ray tracing will return as optional features.)
Removed penalty for disabled dishes: you can now disable as many dishes as you want without penalty
2-seat tables optimized: both customers now enter from the same side
Automated breakfast: if enabled, employees use only the tablet to avoid order conflicts
Improved smart ordering: now considers previous days and tier (feedback welcome)
Floor management: receptionists can now enable/disable floors
Hide HUD: press F9
Reduced trash spawn: nearly halved
Improved physics: better rotation handling, no more objects clipping into the ground
Improved bartender behavior: no longer gets stuck if an ingredient is missing
Fixed a rare crash when spawning customers
Fixed breakfast service being skipped by waiters
Fixed table cleaning occurring even when the task was disabled
Fixed customers using the wrong payment register (wrong floor)
Fixed fun actions detection (the “trip” action will return soon)
Fixed employee order issues (floor assignment, leave/return)
Fixed object customization save issues
Fixed plants overlapping table numbers
Fixed table number tickets not displaying correctly on some dishes
Thank you for your support. This update marks a major step forward. The rooftop is just the beginning. We look forward to your feedback.
Update 0.6.5 is now available! This is an intermediate step before the next major update, which will finally introduce the highly anticipated rooftop with its cocktail preparation system. Good news: the game is now on promotion with a -20% discount. This is the perfect time to take advantage, especially since the multiplayer mode has just been expanded. This update brings several major changes regarding progression, employee management, and multiplayer.
During this development phase, we tested up to 10 players in cooperative mode. Results were very positive with smooth gameplay and stable FPS between 120 and 140 FPS in a full restaurant. To prepare for the arrival of new floors and the rooftop, cooperative mode is now officially extended to 8 players. You can now invite up to 7 friends to your game.
The progression system has been fully redesigned to be more readable and to let you better control the path you want to follow. Previously, missions were listed vertically and were the main key for progression via satisfaction and money to reach the next tier. It was hard to have a clear overview of the missions needed to unlock specific elements.
Now, an experience and chef hats system has been introduced. Missions are still present but now give more experience and money. You also gain experience simply by playing normally.
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45279628/5de78f7e27b12039544914b3f8fedbed5a5fe039.png
As you progress, you earn chef hats visible on the new HUD. With these hats and money, you can unlock different game elements via a new PC app: Extension.
Elements are now displayed as a dependency tree. You can choose to focus first on employees, dishes, or decorations depending on your play style.
Moving from one tier to the next no longer requires completing the previous tier entirely. You just pay a number of hats and money proportional to the number of remaining locked items. This allows some players to progress quickly without unlocking all current tier items.
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45279628/3bac95478eca47535eb02c6d4138eb970d09e08b.png
For old saves, don’t worry: everything has been migrated automatically. All your unlocked items are kept in this new system. Tier 3 is currently locked and will be unlocked in the next major update including the rooftop. Start collecting hats now to use them when it’s released.
You can now precisely configure your employees’ tasks from the PC.
Servers:
Take orders
Serve dishes
Clean tables
Bartenders:
Serve drinks
Collect payments
This system allows you to assign certain tasks to your employees and handle others yourself, or optimize efficiency by specializing each employee in a specific task. When the restaurant is full, task distribution prevents efficiency loss from workload overload.
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45279628/8c094d726cd76135351d6702f34e19d713c5782e.png
The casino is now open. It currently has two themed slot machines:
China
Egypt
Each machine works with a 25-payline system. By default, 20 lines are active, but you can adjust this with the + and - buttons. Total bet is divided by the number of active lines. Reducing lines decreases chances to win but increases potential payout per line. Increasing lines increases chances to win but reduces payout per line.
Each machine also has a very rare jackpot. The jackpot starts at €20,000 per machine and is saved. It gradually increases as players use the machine. It is very rare to hit, but if luck smiles on you, you can win huge sums.
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45279628/e960e37fedc9da6ab35aa3e76557fe514f312040.png
You can now order kitchen tables and place them freely in the kitchen or bakery. Default tables have been removed.
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45279628/0fcce0c004742082b7a6ba29889494eaea48dfd1.png
Bakery trays can now be stacked to optimize space.
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45279628/12c1492c87e2b3e47f19b41681ecc4855317b341.png
An option now allows disabling the bell sound when a dish is ready.
The view when moving the bakery cart has been improved with partial occlusion to prevent obstruction.
The brasserie can be renamed from the computer.
Fixed a bug preventing customers’ heads from rotating correctly when chatting at the table.
Fixed a bug preventing guests from collecting boxes from carts.
Thank you for your unwavering support. Enjoy update 0.6.5, feel free to give feedback, and stay tuned. The next major update dedicated to the rooftop and cocktails is coming very soon.
This update, version 0.6.0, is primarily focused on optimization. We apologize for the delay; this optimization took longer than expected as it involved a complete overhaul both on the CPU and graphical side. Work has been ongoing since mid-December, and we hope it will satisfy you. These improvements were necessary to prepare for what’s coming next: the rooftop, new floors, new employees, and new clients. Without this update, performance would have suffered significantly when the restaurant is fully populated, causing FPS drops depending on your configuration. We also take this opportunity to wish our Chinese players a very happy Year of the Horse! 🐎
The main focus of this update is performance optimization, targeting two axes:
NPC Optimization: The multiplication of customers and employees in the restaurant previously caused performance drops. Each NPC added processing overhead, and with hundreds of them, FPS could drop significantly. For example, on my configuration, FPS went from ~90–100 to ~60 in a full restaurant.
Graphical Optimization: Dynamic lighting and shadows have been reworked to improve performance without compromising visuals. You will notice smoother lighting and better performance across Low, Medium, and High settings.
Important: Parisian Brasserie Simulator is designed to run with a dedicated GPU. Laptops or PCs with integrated GPUs will not achieve optimal performance despite these improvements. With a dedicated GPU (GTX 970, 1080, RTX 3070, etc.), you can now enjoy much better FPS.
For maximum FPS, enable Nvidia DLSS if you have a compatible Nvidia card.
On supported Nvidia 4000 series GPUs, you can enable Frame Generation for an additional FPS boost.
Both AMD/Nvidia users can use FSR, which provides a similar improvement.
With Frame Generation enabled, I now reach 200 FPS on high settings with a full restaurant.
Visual Improvements: This optimization brings not only FPS gains but also a noticeable visual improvement. Shadows and lighting in Low and Medium settings are now much closer to High settings. A new Eiffel Tower has been added. Night scenes now feature a well-lit city, moon, stars, and a restaurant with comfortable lighting for your eyes. Minor graphical glitches on NPCs’ clothing and skin have been fixed. Low settings now allow both smooth FPS and attractive visuals.
Delivery System: Many of you reported delivery taking too long or trucks getting lost in Paris. In this update, delivery has been reworked:
Delivery time is no longer affected by delivery cost; it now depends on the number of delivery employees.
The truck will arrive behind the restaurant in a dedicated alley, avoiding blocking roads.
Delivery employees now run faster and unload trucks more efficiently.
Reminder: Placing trolleys (diables) outside the restaurant will allow employees to pick them up, greatly improving unloading speed.
Bakery Automation: Many of you shared your opinions—some were tired of making breakfasts, others loved it, and some wanted a break. A good compromise has been found: from the Menu app, you can now enable an option to automate the bakery, which is activated by default. When enabled, if breakfast stock runs out, employees will order the breakfast via the tablet, and your cook will prepare it as a regular dish. You can choose to prepare breakfasts yourself, or let the automation handle it. Employees will always prioritize freshly prepared breakfasts, and only use the tablet orders if none are available.
Due to these graphical optimizations, there is no longer a dynamic day-night cycle. Instead, a quick fade to black occurs at 7 PM to transition from day to night.
For the occasion, a new brasserie has been created with new textures. Walls are still paintable, but temporarily changing wall textures is no longer available. Don’t worry 🚀 With the new brasserie, a pack of much prettier wall textures is on the way!
In celebration of the Chinese New Year, we added some decorations around the restaurant and introduced three new dishes:
Shengjian
Lanzhou Beef Noodles
Moon Cake
Now that this major optimization is complete, our 3D artists have taken the lead on the next features:
Employee task management system
Addition of new employees
New floors and the rooftop
Rooftop gameplay: prepare cocktails, lounge environment, new furniture and decorations, and a DJ area
Potential increase of cooperative players from 4 up to 6–8
Controller support for playing PBS with gamepads
