Commanders,
We´ve just published a new update of our game. We have added tier IV Modern Era tanks in this update:
T-72A MBT
The T-72A was a major second-generation modernization of the Soviet T-72 main battle tank, introduced into Red Army service in 1979. Developed by Uralvagonzavod in Nizhny Tagil, the variant featured a significantly upgraded composite armor scheme incorporating quartz cavities (silicium dioxide inserts) inside the turret cheek frontal arc, which earned it the US intelligence nickname "Dolly Parton." It was armed with an upgraded 125mm 2A46M smoothbore gun mated to a TPD-K1 laser rangefinder and 9K120 stabilization system, powered by a 780-horsepower V-46-6 diesel engine, and equipped with 902B "Tucha" smoke grenade launchers.
How to play this tank in our game? Use your low profile and strong frontal armor to your advantage. Play hull-down, where possible.
Merkava MKII
Introduced into Israel Defense Forces service in 1983, the Merkava Mark II main battle tank incorporated operational lessons from the 1982 Lebanon War to optimize crew survivability and urban combat performance. Retaining the signature front-mounted engine configuration and rear compartment for troop transport or casualty evacuation, the Mk II upgraded its predecessor with a 105 mm M68 rifled main gun, an internally operated 60 mm mortar, an upgraded Matador Mk 2 fire-control system with laser rangefinding, an improved transmission, and enhanced anti-HEAT protection—most notably featuring signature hanging chain curtain shot-traps under the turret bustle to detonate incoming shaped-charge projectiles.
How to play this tank in our game? Change positions quickly, avoid exposing your sides and rear.
Game development will continue with the next update scheduled for release in August/September, 2026.
We look forward to meeting you on the battlefield!
Best regards,
Your PANZERKAMPF® development team
