We have released a major content update for PancitoMerge. The update brings local multiplayer (that works perfectly with remote play together), expanded customer rosters, new achievements, local leaderboards and a polished new look.
What's New in the Big Update:
Local Multiplayer (Co-Op & Versus): Grab a friend and share the pastry love. In Co-Op mode, players work together to fulfill customer orders and keep the bag from overflowing. In Versus mode, it's a head-to-head race to keep your bag from breaking as you send burned bread to your opponent.
25 Customers Per Bakery: Each bakery now features 25 unique customers (up from 10), each with their own special styles, including a few cameos inspired by the development team.
Expanded Achievements & Local Leaderboards: A fresh set of achievements to chase, now tracked locally alongside the existing global and local leaderboards.
Stylish New Menus: The panadería has never looked better: redesigned menus with more personality and charm to match the game's cozy aesthetic.
Full Localization: Fully playable in English, Spanish (Latin America), Brazilian Portuguese, and Japanese.
We want to give players a reason to come back to the bakery or invite a friend along for the first time. Local multiplayer has been our most requested feature since launch, and we're thrilled to finally share it. Plus, filling each bakery with 25 customers means there's always a new face waiting to place an order.

I want to start by saying that it is going to be 2 months since we launched the game and we couldn't be more happy with the reception. We've gotten many comments and reviews and it all seems to be positive, so thanks for that!
We added a new option on the title menu called "Pancitopedia" which takes you to a new menu with info from every bread you find in the game. The info was already there in every play but the reaction to the info has been really good and we wanted to give you access to it without having to go into the game and unlocking the bread yet again. Please, share with your friends your favorite breads from the game!
That's right, PancitoMerge is going to be a part of this event and it is going to have a 25% off during its duration, from Feb 2nd to 9th.

We've got a couple threads going on the discussions of the game about adding achievements and at first I was hesitant about it but I'm happy to say that we worked hard and got the achievements in before Christmas!
We added 20 achievements for you find and some are quite hard, so I'll be paying attention to see who amongst you are the first to get them.
Besides that, we fixed some minor things and worked on the placement of the "shake bag" button so it doesn't get in the way for some of you.
Appreciate all your reviews and feedback, as of this post, the game is currently "Very Positive" because we have more than 50 positive reviews. If you are enjoying the game, please don't forget to leave a review, it always helps!
We are so excited to see the game has been so well received but if you can share it around to friends that might like it, it would mean the world to us. The launch discount is going to be up for a couple extra days, so get it before it goes back to regular price!

We’re beyond excited to finally say…PancitoMerge is officially available on Steam!
We just dropped our new trailer and release announcement in the Latin American Games Showcase and now we get to tell you all here! Thank you SO much to everyone who checked out the demo earlier this year, wishlisted, and have been following our journey! The bakery is officially open for business!
PancitoMerge was born out of passion for the central theme, Mexican pan dulce. We’re thankful that Vanila (the artist) liked the idea and was happy to collaborate because the whole game was born with her art in mind and it is truly the soul of the project. We’re proud of the team and the work we all put into the game to be able to showcase this part of our culture to the world. We are so excited to see people play all the bakeries and discover all the breads and characters in all of them.

¡Hola panaderos! It’s been a busy (and delicious) few weeks for the team. Here’s a look at what we’ve been cooking up!
We just came back from Pixelatl (Sept 9-13, Guadalajara, México) where we had the amazing opportunity to show our game off! It was SO fun seeing players spend time in our little bakery. In the sea of noise and chaos at these conventions it’s nice that players can find our cozy game and relax in our bakery. Some of them didn’t even want to put the controller down, which is the best case scenario we could have imagined!
Now we’re also part of Steam events like MES (Mexican Entertainment System), GDCoE, and Six One Indie. If you spotted us there, thanks for stopping by! (and please wishlist, it helps us so much!)
Now for the really REALLY exciting stuff (that stuff before was regular exciting hehe). We’re excited to reveal our next level: a bakery inspired by Día de Muertos. Expect a spooky-but-cozy vibe with new breads, festive decorations, and some curious customers joining your shop.
