Hi all! This update brings some new features to Overlooting aimed at making the game accessible to more players and to improve some parts of the game that weren't as visually clear or convenient.
Added an option to change the speed of the game between Slow, Normal, Fast and Turbo.
Added an option to make the combat automatic: after clicking on an enemy, it will continue until the area is cleared.
Added Colorblind Modes that add filters to the game for different kinds of color blindness.
Added an option to disable the screenshake.
Added visual feedback when acquiring a random stat at the Well event.
Added visual feedback when an enemy gets a damage buff.
Fixed some mistakes in texts and translations.
Buffed the damage percentage of the Beast set from (20%/50%) to (20%/60%).
Fixed the poison applied by the Poison Traps skill from 5 to 10.
Fixed the armor given by the Basic Training skill from 3 to 5.
Behemoth Head now correctly gives 10% Damage Amplification.
Fixed a bug that cause items to sometimes drop on an already in use slot.
Fixed a bug that caused the Unstoppable Mythic set (given by the Fated Sword) to not work on Forest-kin Assassins.
Fixed a bug that caused an Area to be skipped after spamming the button to go to the next one.
Fixed a bug that enabled the player to attack the boss slightly sooner than intended, causing its health bar to not disappear if it died from the attack.
Fixed a bug that caused the Tempting Offer skill to not trigger on golden chests. Also, fixed the texts of some Styles.
Changed the window size in Windowed mode for 4k monitors to 1920x1080.
Regeneration now also triggers at the end of every combat.
Styles that give a bonus to Villager, Occult or Saltwater are now only offered if you have at least one piece of the appropriate set.
Windowed mode now scales better on non-standard resolutions.
Improved the clarity of some texts.
The health recovered from the Emergency Healing skill was buffed from 3 to 5.
The Damage Amplification gained per different rarity from the Personal Collection skill was buffed from 5% to 7%.
The Damage Amplification gained per active set from the Creativity skill was buffed from 7% to 8%.
The Armor gained per active set from the Creativity skill was buffed from 3 to 4.
The Weakness applied to all enemies by the Intimidate skill was buffed from 2 to 3.
The enemy health lost from the Sudden Aging skill was buffed from 10% to 20%.
The health recovered from the Sudden Aging skill was buffed from 3 to 10% of your Max Health.
The health recovered from the Tempting Offer skill was buffed from 10 to 50% of your Max Health.
The Hex applied to all enemies from the Ceremonial Rite skill was buffed from 3 to 5.
The Decaying Touch skill now also gives 10 Physical Damage when obtained.
Now every Style that gives a bonus to Villager can correctly appear when choosing a Style.
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused enemies to be untargetable.
Fixed a bug that caused the boss health bar to never disappear if the boss was killed too fast (sometimes happened in the Endless Mode).
Changed some items that were displaying the wrong sprites.
Fixed the Ronin set description, which was displaying incorrect Wound and Weakness values.
Fixed a bug that caused Liz's first Passive Ability to have infinite uses.
Strange Reptilians now have Poisonous 5 instead of Poisonous 6.
Shroomies no longer attack on the same turn they spawned if they didn't spawn on the player's turn.
Changed the Hard Path option at the Crossroads event to give better rewards and make the enemies stronger.
Changed some texts to improve their clarity or fix mistakes.
Buffed the Ronin set to now also give (10%/20%/30%) Counterattack.
Buffed the damage based on Max Health from the Taboo set from (3%/5%) to (5%/8%).
Buffed the Thorns gained from the Ironclad set from (2/3/4) to (3/4/5).
Buffed the extra stacks applied for negatives Statuses from the Royal set from (3/5) to (4/6).
Buffed the extra Areas from the Villager set from (10/20) to (15/25).
Nerfed the Swiftness given by the Sylvan set (10/40/50) to (5/30/35).
Nerfed the Hex applied with the Fae set from (5/10/15) to (4/8/12).
Buffed the Wounds applied by the Mirrored Mythic set (activated by Unbreakable Mirror) from 10 to 20.
Buffed the Armor given by the Unbreakable Mirror from 8 to 10.
Nerfed the Swiftness gained when attacking with the Speedster Mythic set (activated by the Seven-league Boots) from 10% to 5%.
Nerfed the execution range with the Blasphemous Mythic set (activated by the Godslayer Dagger) from 40% of the target Max Health to 25%.
Nerfed the permanent Damage Amplification gained when attacking with the Psychopomp Mythic set (activated by the Soul Harvester) from 2% to 1%.
Reworked the stats given by the Ranger Jerkin (from the Sylvan set) from (5 Armor. 15% Dodge, 15% Swiftness) to (5 Armor, 15% Dodge, 10% Swiftness, 10% Counterattack).
Reworked stats given by the Wolf Ring (from the Beast Set) from 12% Swiftness to 12% Damage Amplification.
Reworked stats given by the Stolen Necklace (from the Saltwater Set) from 5% Swiftness and 5% Damage Amplification to 12% Swiftness.
Reworked the Survival Instinct skill completely: Old You gain 4% Damage amplification for every missing point of health. New The first time you lose health in each combat, gain 50% Damage Amplification. If your health is below 50%, gain 100% Damage Amplification instead.
Buffed the Rough Skin skill to deal extra damage based on the Max Health of the enemy.
Changed the health lost with the Lord Mythic set (activated by Helm of Conquest) to now always trigger after every other End of Round effect. That means it now works with the Iron Will skill.
Liz's first Passive Ability no longer benefits from the Villager set to prevent a exploit where you could activate the set, spend the rerolls and then unequip it.
Now the options from the Remains of a hero event correctly disappear after skipping it.
Now the Emergency Healing skill correctly benefits from the Iron Will skill.
Fixed a bug where clicking an item would sometimes upgrade it when loading a game left with Hammer option from the Shrine event selected.
Fixed a variety of rare bugs related to Liz's first Passive Ability.
Fixed a bug caused by the last patch that prevented Guard to regenerate Barriers on the Incarnate bossfight.
Now all the skills become visible after acquiring the first skill point.
Increased the likelihood of items dropped to be from one of you active sets.
Increased experience gained after losing a run.
Added a skip button to the Remains of a hero event.
Now you can use the Philosopher's Stone while at full health to remove negative Statuses.
Fixed mistakes and typos in some texts.
The Ironclad set had a big design problem: it did nothing once you lost all your Barriers. That meant that it was powerful with skills that generated enough Barriers to sustain long fights but very weak otherwise. To solve this, we have reworked it to no longer deal increased damage for each broken Barrier and instead give you Thorns whenever a Barrier is broken. Old
Enemies breaking your Barriers receive damage per broken barrier and extra damage based on their max heallth. Also, gain Guard per level.
(2) 1 Guard, 2 damage per broken Barrier + 3% Max health.
(4) 2 Guard, 4 damage per broken barrier + 5% Max health.
(6) 3 Guard, 6 damage per broken barrier + 8% Max health.
New
When one of your Barriers is broken, gain Thorns. If an enemy broke it, it receives damage based on its Max Health. Also, gain Guard per level.
(2) 1 Guard, 2 Thorns and 3% Max Health damage.
(4) 2 Guard, 3 Thorns and 6% Max Health damage.
(6) 3 Guard, 4 Thorns and 10% Max Health damage.
Reworked the Aegis Mythic set (activated by Cyclopean Masterpiece) to now give you Thorns when damaged (instead of after losing Barriers or Armor) to better differentiate it from the new Ironclad.
Buffed the Taboo set to now deal extra damage based on the enemy Max Health.
Buffed the health restored from the Sudden Aging skill from 2 to 3.
Buffed the health restored from the Emergency Healing skill from 2 to 3.
Buffed the health restored from the Tempting Offer skill from 5 to 10.
Buffed the Damage Amplification gained with the Blood Sacrifice skill from 25% to 30%.
Nerfed the Critical Damage given by the Opal Necklace from 40% to 30% (it was never intended to give the previous value).
The Avatar of The Corruption boss had a lot of bugs related to its End of Round logic. To fix that, we reworked its first two abilities to activate on even and odds turns respectively. Old At the end of every 2nd round, summon a Corrupted Hero (if able). At the end of every 3rd round, devour all Corrupted Heroes and gain their damage. At the end of the 7th round, its damage doubles. New

Fixed a bug that caused the Spear of the Core enemy to not gain extra attacks when damaged. Its damage was nerfed from 3 to 2 to compensate.
Fixed a bug that caused the potions unlocked after beating the game for the first time to never appear.
Fixed a bug that enabled the player to use the Hammer option at Shrines in level 3 items, wasting the effect without upgrading any item.
Fixed a bug that caused the Survival Instinct skill to reduce your Damage Amplification when you healed while being at full health, which even caused your attacks to heal enemies.
Fixed a bug that prevented negative Statuses on the player from being removed when entering the Incarnate boss fight.
Fixed a bug that caused the game to sometimes be softlocked after using a potion while the enemy was attacking.
Fixed a bug that caused the Ceremonial Rite skill to be unlocked from the start.
Changed the Forge to prevent items being lost if you don't have enough inventory space.
Fixed a variety of visual bugs.
Buffed the Rage given by Legion from (3/4/5) to (3/5/8).
Buffed the Regeneration given by Darkthorn from (2/4/6) to (3/5/8).
Buffed the health% damage from Ironclad from (2%/4%/6%) to (3%/5%/8%).
Buffed the percentage of stunning an enemy from Taboo from (30%/50%) to (35%/55%).
Buffed the stun damage from Taboo from (10/15) to (20/30).
Fixed a variety of bugs affecting the Endless Mode, including boss rewards working as in the normal game instead of as intended and the first Passive Ability of Liz giving items of incorrect rarities.
Fixed a variety of errors in translated texts.
Fixed a visual glitch affecting minions spawning in bossfights.
Added a failsafe to prevent achievements to never be unlocked in certain situations.
Hotfix for the bug that caused the "Miscalculation" achievement to never unlock, which wasn't properly fixed with the previous patch.
Fixed a bug that caused the Achievement "Miscalculation" to never trigger.
Fixed a bug that cause the skill "Superior Quality" to not activate on items upgraded at the Shrine until you changed your equipment.
Fixed a visual bug with the boss health bar at the "Three Guardians" fight, that caused it to don't update correctly.
Fixed a typo in the selection screen ("Raccon" to "Raccoon").
Overlooting has finally released! Thank you to all the players of the demo and the beta testers that helped us polish and upgrade the game. Hope that you all enjoy it!
Fixed a bug that caused Swiftness to sometimes not trigger on the first attack of a combat.
Fixed a bug that caused some "When entering an Area" effects to not trigger when loading a game.
This new patch focuses on improving the overall user experience through a better communication of some mechanics and the addition of new features to make the process of creating builds easier.
General
Items found in Golden Chests can now be rerolled once.
When obtaining an item, improved the chance of it being part of one of your active Equipment Sets.
When choosing a Style, improved the chance of finding a Style that matches your active Equipment Sets.
Improved the visual clarity for items that can be upgraded.
Improved the visiblity of Skill icons.
Damage of enemies is now shown on a different color when buffed.
Balance
Items from the Ronin Set have been slightly buffed.
Upgrading items with Lifesteal now increases their Lifesteal more, but they start with lower base values.
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug that caused different problems when loading a game.
Fixed Lifesteal in some languages to be correctly displayed on tooltips.
This new patch includes two new potions, localization for Russian (thanks to Nikita Mikhalev!), a much needed QoL feature to show which slot corresponds to each item and some fixes and small improvements to certain features of the game.
General
Russian localization added to the game.
Two new potions added to the pool: the Debilitating Potion, which applies 10 Weakness when dropped on an enemy and the Sickening Potion, which applies 10 Wound when dropped on an enemy.
Hovering an item now shows its Category, which determines the slot it can be equipped in.
Now the game uses a pixel font when displaying Chinese texts.
Bugfixes
Some popups that were displayed in English even when playing in another language are now displayed in the correct language.
Now enemies stunned after losing a barrier correctly show the stunned animation.
