Ore & Odds is coming to Steam Next Fest!

We're thrilled to announce that Ore & Odds will be part of Steam Next Fest, running from June 15 to June 22.

If you haven't tried the demo yet, this is your chance. It's free, it's available right now, and we'd love to hear what you think.

You can now earn an achievement for playing the demo ⛏️

• Added an achievement at the end of the demo.
• Fixed sounds not working as intended.
• New Discord button on the main menu.
• New animation on the level selector when unlocking a new zone.
• New sound effect for the electricity skill.
• Fixed a bug where background elements moved on their own.
• Added Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Russian languages.
• New main theme song.
• New confirmation prompt when starting a new game and overwriting a saved file.
• Tutorial flow improvements.

New upgrades are here for you, miner ⛏️

• Slot visual improvements 🎰:
• Added animations showing how many ores you won/lost.
• Added animations when changing the bet percentage.
• Added animations when switching the bet ore.
• Added sounds and feedback to buttons.
• Added a new currency: black chips. You earn them by losing at the slot and can use them to unlock some skill tree upgrades.
• Improved the VFX for when you get a red chip.
• Drills now show how much they generate and have animations.

We have some exciting news to share: Ore & Odds has been selected as part of the Official Selection for GameEffect Showcase 2026, running from May 25 to June 1.

From the first click to the deepest mine, building this game has been one hell of a ride, and this is a milestone that means a lot to us. Being part of GES 2026 means more eyes on the game, more feedback, and most importantly, more of you finding your way into the mine.
