Hello, this is Dopamine Crucian, the development team behind ON&OFF. The grid-based, turn-based deckbuilding roguelite ON&OFF is now officially available on Steam! In ON&OFF, you place cards on a grid and connect signals in the directions indicated by their arrows to create chains. Card effects activate when a card switches from OFF to ON, allowing you to reactivate previously used cards and use them multiple times during a single battle. Collect new cards, refine your deck, and create your own card formations and signal chains.

To improve the game’s balance and identify the causes of errors, ON&OFF collects certain gameplay data and error information while the game is running. • Gameplay time and session duration

• Game progression information, including stages, floors, and nodes

• Battle results and number of turns

• Enemy types and damage records

• Deck composition

• Records of card selection, upgrades, removal, and purchases

• Skill usage records

• Card pack selected at the start of a run

• Random seed

• Reasons for ending or abandoning a run

• Records of detected abnormal gameplay, such as infinite loops

• Random identifiers generated for each installation and session

• Technical information, including operating system, device type, and SDK version

• Error and exception messages generated by the game

3. Collection Period

July 31, 2026 – August 7, 2026 Once the collection period ends, we will stop collecting new gameplay data and error information.

Data is transmitted automatically through analytics SDKs when the game is launched or relevant gameplay events occur. The release version does not collect separate local gameplay log files or upload them to servers operated by the development team.

• Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, or addresses

• Steam account names, Steam profiles, or SteamIDs

• Payment or financial information

• Passwords or Steam login information

• Personal files or information from other programs on the user’s device

• Game screen recordings, voice recordings, or keyboard input content

The randomly generated identifiers included in the collected data are not directly linked to Steam accounts, and the collected data is not used to directly identify individual players. Hello, players! This is Dopamine Crucian, the development team behind ON&OFF. As we prepare for the game’s release, we have been reviewing and improving the visual assets used throughout ON&OFF. As part of this process, we decided to remove the generative AI artwork that had previously been used in certain parts of the game.

Why We Changed the Art Assets

We wanted ON&OFF’s final visuals to better represent the game’s identity and maintain a more consistent pixel art direction throughout the experience. All generative AI artwork previously used in the game has been removed and replaced with newly created art assets.

Below is an example of one of the visual elements updated through this process. Player Character — Previous Version Player Character — Updated Version Some of the replacement artwork was created directly by our development team, while other assets were commissioned from external artists. In particular, the character animations, title artwork, and Steam capsule artwork were produced in collaboration with commissioned artists. We also conducted additional reviews and revisions to ensure that the newly implemented art fits naturally with the game’s other visual elements. These changes only affect the game’s visual assets. ON&OFF’s core gameplay, systems, and scheduled release date remain unchanged.
