Hello Offroad Mechanics! We are thrilled to announce that the release date for Offroad Mechanic Simulator on PlayStation has been set for July 3rd! This is a huge step forward for us, and we want to share a few details of what you can expect. This isn't our usual Steam release but we're eager to connect with our new PlayStation adventurers. Hi, offroad maniacs! We're coming back with a new update, in which we resolve problems regarding parts and their mounting for specific cars and also some minor issues connected to very specific instances. We hope that all the players who experienced these rare problems will be pleased with our fixes. We also added some minor UI cosmetic fixes, as well as amendments to the categorizing of the parts. Those small finishing touches should also positively affect the clarity of what the game is communicating. Please note: We are still working on the issue of parts being missing from the assembly mode selection menu, but still being present in storage. It is particularly hard to reproduce in a testing environment, and we haven't been able to provide a fix so far. Thank you for sending us saves and logs to help us find the source of the issue. Offroad Mechanic Simulator Update 1.07

• Resolved the issue of being able to complete a mission of searching for Long Rider early after a rollover, and having the mission unavailable to retry and registered as finished, but without Long Rider being added to the garage
• Fixed the issue of progression not registering properly during the tutorial race
• Changed the order of removing parts while disassembling the Toyato Ground Courier
• Unified the shock absorber descriptions for Pickup 1500 in mounting mode and the shop
• Moved the Toyato Ground Courier front steering knuckle to the proper shop category (Steering)
• Amended the minor visual issue with orange icons in the UI
• Changed the default mouse Camera Rotation Sensitivity from 11 to 15
• Amended wrong choice of the word for "right" in the Portuguese translation

Hi, offroad maniacs! We are continuing to introduce more fixes to remove outstanding issues from your experience. Today we are back with another patch, first of all addressing A key problem. Today we resolved the keyboard issue for the two next languages you have reported to be suffering from. After the update, all players using their native Ukrainian and Finnish keyboard layouts will be able to use the A button without the need to bind it to a different diacritic symbol. The other issue we're addressing in this patch is related to editing the chassis of your cars. Some players have found themselves unable to put shock absorbers in their proper place, which made modifying the car harder. We have located and amended the issue, so the garage work should be hassle-free now. Please note: We are still working on the issue of parts being missing from the assembly mode selection menu, but still being present in storage. We are constantly looking into further problems with regional alphabets to provide a smooth experience for everyone. Additionally, we have resolved a small visual issue with Pickup 1500. It made the car seem like it has no tires when going out to do events on maps. The tires were again visible upon returning to the garage, but now this bug should not appear anymore. Nevertheless, some of you still experienced some specific issues, that we are addressing in this patch. Thank you for your bug reporting and willingness to help us in reproducing them! In today's patch, we are introducing a requested quality-of-life change. The need for constantly closing the F1 tips was bothering some players, so we have added an option to automatically switch them off. This way you can choose to not display them when they're no longer needed. In addition, we have removed the spare wheel holder showing as a "ghost part", mostly appearing when driving Yeep Rancher. We have also amended an issue with camera zoom during working on Pickup 1500 and a minor Mishubi Palermo screw misplacement. We have also found some instances of the winch prompt on Desert that still weren't changed to not informing about attaching the part to a tree, so we have extended our fix to include them. Please note: we are still working on the issue of parts being missing from the assembly mode selection menu, but still being present in storage. The desert and the night races

In the prologue, you had an occasion to drive through a large part of our Forest map. But, as all offroad fans know, there are other places that can provide the right challenge. Some are much, much arider. That's right, we are talking about our second map, the Desert. This rocky and sandy landscape nearly without plant life (but above the average number of animal skulls and skeletons) is definitely hard to traverse. It also provides different problems to solve with the right car modifications and tools at your disposal. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38515819/9aec35f84e095dd3adf67327262507b90f3122c9.gif And you will have to solve them because the terrain is extremely uneven. This is not your Sahara, this is more like a rocky desertscape of Arizona or Nevada. Some races will have you fighting time while climbing steep terrace formations, while others will take you through needle eyes between massive hoodoos. Some specific gadgets, like rock anchors for your winch, will be elemental to brave the most complicated parts of this rock climb. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38515819/d4bd5d4960389150b94848cc7acd15306d4e6c45.gif Need more challenge than that? Try to navigate this rocky maze at night. Yes, our time-sensitive races will have their nightly versions. Visibility will become essential for you - because if you don't see the next obstacle, you will probably fail to overcome it! Nighttime races will be available across all maps, and you will have the parts to modify your cars for these dark conditions. That's why retrofitting the vehicle with specialized offroad tires and rims will be usually one of the first things you'd like to do. Swapping tires and rims

Unmounting the factory tires will be a priority thing to do when working on the car's chassis section. It allows you access to the whole braking system. Fortunately, it's an easy thing to do. You just remove lug bolts that are going through the rim. Analogically, you mount the tire by screwing in the same bolts. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38515819/2d548b717e1819c1440f3c466a4275230c539f92.gif To buy specialized tires for terrain-conquering adventures, the trusty Offroad Market is always in the right direction. You buy the tires and the rims separately from the different manufacturers popular in the offroad circles. In the rim, you will seek higher diameter and more durable materials, to make the driving experience more comfortable. You can select the diameter and the width you're interested in on the rim's shop page. As for tires, your goal is primarily to provide as much friction as possible in contact with uneven and harsh terrain. The size matters here too, but also deep tread patterns and larger lugs can help tremendously in the quest to gain better traction, Again, you can select parameters - diameter, width, rim diameter - on the items page. Additionally, some products can have additional perks for your offroad needs. Remember, the tire and the rim must be (the rim diameter must fit the tire parameter of the same name). Similarly, not every tire will fit every car. There's always an upper limit to the diameter of the wheel which you can fit into the vehicle. To combine them, you have a professional tire changer machine in the garage. By manipulating the arm's height and extension, you can secure the rim in the tire mounted on a special boom with a rotator. Greetings offroad enthusiasts! Time to show you some of the latest changes in Offroad Mechanic Simulator! There are three main features that this devlog will address. Of course, a lot more happened behind the scenes since we released our demo. We will share more information in future devlogs - or, if there's anything specific you want to know about, let us know in the comments!

Let's start with the garage!

This is the hub for every player. It's divided into a few separate areas:

• Workshop - this is where the magic happens and where you will spend most of your time. You start with room for just 1 car. However, once you unlock additional areas in the workshop, you will be able to fix and upgrade up to 3 different cars at the same time!
• Garage - you need a place to store your cars and that's where it is. You start with just two slots but as you make progress, you will gradually unlock 6 more.
• Storage - as the name suggests, this is where you can find car parts that you own
• Car wash - it's not unusual for a car to return dirty from an offroad adventure. This is where you can remove dirt from any angle, to prevent any car parts from corroding.
• Chip tuning - are you in need of some additional horsepower? Then that's where you need to go!

Next, let's discuss the car wash!

Nobody likes a dirty car. Thing is, in your job of servicing offroad vehicles, practically every car you get your hands on is going to be covered in mud. This isn't just a problem because of the aesthetics. Dirty parts can corrode and degrade in quality over time. Finally, it's time to talk about chip tuning!

This is a new feature that will let you squeeze out that little bit of extra power from your engines. To start tweaking the settings, you must move a car to a separate room in your garage, where you have the equipment necessary for chip tuning. Once everything is in place, you must use a nearby laptop and tinker with the engine by completing a simple minigame.
