Our friends from Feardemic are proud to announce the next generation of terror: Dark Fracture, a psychological first-person horror adventure game in which jump scares are the least concerning occurrences that the players will be facing. The game is developed by the indie team Twisted II Studio and will be released in 2022 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

About the game

Set in the late 90s in a forested area of the Northeastern USA, Dark Fracture brings you into the eerie environment of a body farm – a decomposition research facility. You enter the world as Edward, a lonely individual tormented by a tragic past, whose only solace is in the medicine that helps him to get through the day. Edward is barely able to cope with his issues, which are only intensified by the solitude of his workplace. He puts on a brave front and dutifully wakes up for work every day. His routine serves as his only anchor, but deep inside, trouble is simmering... Fixed issues: It runs in the family: letters on the padlock should be easier to read It runs in the family: quest progress should no longer be erased after starting the quest, leaving the room 208 and getting back later to finish it Errant Signal: basement comparment's door should always open after solving the riddle, preventing the player from getting stuck in the basement. Victor's investigation: player should be able to drag the closet in Victor's hideout during Victor's neural investigation. We are already working on the next major update to increase the game's performance and solve problems related to the proper work of the game on the latest models of graphics cards.

Rutger Hauer. The legendary Roy Batty, the symbol of raw, dark cyberpunk. Without his participation in the project, Observer would not have become what it is. We strongly believe that he would be delighted with the idea of System Redux. Reach further, achieve more, become greater - it was all a part of his character. He was such a great fit to play Dan Lazarski that we never considered using another actor for System Redux. Instead, we’ve been working with what we had in our archives. After all, we see his game also as a sort of a tribute to him. Rutger Hauer is missed by so many cyberpunk fans in the world. Today we feel it even stronger. Which confirms that indeed the Observer affects the observed reality.
