Also, changes in the game itself in the last few weeks:

• HD image card set optimization: hi-res images will only load if the actual size of a card on the screen, in pixels, is bigger than the thumbnail size (298x410, 512x512, 410x298).

• Also, if you're playing on a 4k monitor and have hiccups/lags with HD image sets, you can now disable hi-res images entirely in Options->Advanced

• completed proofreading for languages: German, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Finnish, Portuguese (+Brazilian), Danish, Korean, Swedish, Hungarian, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, Norwegian. Let me know if there are still errors in these languages

• in selectors and roster editors, all groups now have magenta titles by default, until you select them once. This should help to notice newly added content after you download a DLC

• fix for slow loading of icons in selectors

• added 3 HD versions of the hand-drawn card sets. You will notice the difference in solitaire variants like Thirteen where cards are shown at a large scale

• visual card set editor now creates image card sets in the HD format. It's the same old PNG atlas for thumbnails, but now also + _Data folder that has HDImages subfolder, with your original images stored as-is. The system is the same as for video and GIF animation card sets.

• visual card set editor can now import HD image sets (previously it could only import video/GIF sets)

Legacy image card sets are still supported.

When sharing the new image card sets (e.g. on Discord), you now need to zip the _Data folder together with the PNG atlas. Just like with video/GIF sets. If you only share the PNG atlas, it will be just the legacy image set.

Over the next few days, I'll update most of the card sets in the DLCs to the HD format. The update will actually be minimal, as each card set will just get a small config file which will tell the game to load the high-res images from the Pictures subfolder that every DLC has already.

EDIT 2026.03.31: transition to HD format completed.

Many more DLCs are the pipeline, each covering a specific kink. I hope to release them by the end of 2025.

• Hotfix for gallery freezing in some cases

• Gallery: added buttons to hide specific pictures and DLC subfolders

• slideshow option to show just the current subfolder, the whole DLC, or all pictures

• roster editors now have the same design selection dialogs, in anticipation of content increase with the coming DLCs. Btw if you own some DLCs, you can make use of the hundreds of background images there with Options->Advanced->(backgrounds section)->Images: change every X seconds + enable animated transition. This will create a slideshow in the background

• Added Gallery screen with a better overview of your progress with picture unlocking

• Winning a solitaire variant for the first time now also unlocks a random picture in the gallery

• Can now select any puzzle type to unlock a picture

• When playing a puzzle to unlock a picture, now you earn hearts just like in custom minigames

• Difficulty of puzzles to unlock pictures now increases slower, and goes from very easy to very hard inside each category

• AI-generated pictures now shown in Gallery regardless of your AI setting to reduce confusion around achievements. You can still hide individual categories in the Gallery, or individual pictures

• Slideshow roster removed as it was too tedious to deal with checkboxes. Now slideshow just takes all pictures from the currently viewed category

• 3 new minigames: Lazers, Bombs, Hue (a few more still planned until the end of 2025)

• Card set, back, and background selectors now group content into categories. This should make content more manageable for players who have a lot of DLCs installed. Also, I have at least 5 more DLCs in the pipeline, which will probably double the amount of content

• Backgrounds of any proportions are now supported, the extra space blurred out. DLC backgrounds now always fit into the screen. If you had the "Max fit" option enabled in Options->Advanced, consider turning it off now because blur in the extra space gives a much better look, and your custom backgrounds won't get important details like faces or pussies cut off

• Moved "Darken background image" checkbox to Options->Graphics as you will likely need it for the colorful DLC backgrounds

• Background image transition (Options->Advanced) performance improved

• Tiled backgrounds limited to 512 pixels, so 1024 will be treated like normal pictures

• Content of previous DLCs re-organized a bit to fit the categories structure, your selected card set/back/bg may get reset to defaults

• Toggle to disable UI interaction sounds (wet clicks/mouse-over), Options->Audio

• Updated my avatar to a catgirl :)

• Math Merge minigame: apply math operators to get 3 or more similar numbers nearby

• Match X minigame: move number to match 2 of twos, 3 of threes, 4 of fours etc

• Artist minigame: pick brush opacity to mix colors and get the required color for each tile

The hand-drawn Wallpapers Pack DLC price permanently decreased from about $5 to about $2.

It's about 40 very large images (4k) and about 20 medium-sized ones (2048x2048). Once the DLC is installed, you can select them as game backgrounds.

Or you can take the pictures themselves from c:\\Program Files (x86)\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\NSFW Solitaire\\DLC_Wallpapers\\ImagesHD to use as wallpaper on your phone, tablet, monitor etc.

• custom minigames now earn hearts, depending on difficulty. This is an alternative to winning solitaire variants. Playing with custom or DLC pictures will earn hearts, too

• can now switch between action-based and time-based minigame modes. Action-based is like before. Time-based subtracts 1 heart every 2 seconds. Use time-based mode for minigames you're very good at and can play very fast

• difficulty preset buttons for custom minigames. Difficulty level icon for in-built pictures

• can now pay hearts to switch to a random other puzzle type for the picture

• full support for rectangular tiles. So, pictures of any proportions will work with any custom tiling

• Rotate minigame now shows numbers over tiles that are too even in color, to exclude ambiguity

• Number search and Proofreader now show the next number in magenta in the top-left corner

• +2 card sets in Catgirl DLC (lesbians, pajamas square), +26 pictures in minigames from those

• French localization fixes (thanks to Alexis D.)

This update is an intermediary step in minigames re-design. I plan to add at least 10, maybe 20 new minigames in the coming weeks. Hopefully these will be more interesting to hardcore players.

After some discussions on Discord and feedback in reviews:

• the old 2023 AI pictures in "hentai" and "digital art" style are back in the puzzle section. Scroll down to see them

• reduced the new "DLC demo"-type picture groups to reasonable numbers (40-52 pictures per DLC demo). There will be more DLCs, so the number of pictures will keep growing anyway

• shuffle option for slide show, energetic music can now be turned off with a toggle
