Night Stones news & patch notes

You guys asked and I listened. The most common complaints about the game were the camera and the lack of world map. The lastest update has addressed these issues and I hope you think this makes the game more fun. Thanks for your help making the game better. Please keep the feedback coming! Here are some details about the changes (version 1.0.14 will be displayed in the lower left corner of the title screen):

• A world map is now available. It's an item you'll need to find in the world but it becomes available very early in the game.
• Full manual controls are now availble if you want to control the camera yourself. Please see the Gameplay section of the Settings menu to change the camera controls.
• I've improved the camera movement regardless of what type of camera you are using (manual or automatic) to give you a clearer view of the player if they are blocked by terrain.

Hey everyone, this release has improved camera controls for the mouse. I also fixed a bug where regions of the world do not load properly after completing the game. Thanks for pointing these issues out to me! Ryan

Hi everyone, thanks for all you amazing help resolving issues in the release. A minor update with the following

• Fixed world building in Winterspire Peak where players could get stuck
• Fixed issue where fire may block players in Heart of Souls

Fixed a bug that may cause players to get stuck in chasm in the first cave. Sorry about that!

Hi All! Steam Deck verification requires a manual test by Steam. Steam is unable to test games for this verification until the game has proven itself it in market. I look forward to receiving Steam Deck verification shortly after release. In the meantime, you'll need to take my word for it (and the word of the hundreds of players who played the demo on the Steam Deck). Hey everyone! Thanks for your amazing patience and kindness while I develop Night Stones. I'm excited to announce that the game will release November 11 @ 6pm PST. Cloud Save is now available on all versions of Night Stones. So, if you are looking to play on your Steam Deck and then later on your PC, you are in luck. Have fun!

There are many new regions and features in the demo since the last update. You can unlock the boat and sail around the world. With the boat unlocked, you can finally sail through storms that were previously blocking your path. With the boat, you can also explore the new region: Winterspire Peak. And the cave atop it: Tombs of Time. If you're a Kickstarter backer, your name is now in the credits and you watch them from the title screen. If you are a Diamond Soul backer, please check your email for instructions for building your monument in the Cave of Souls. Any issues, please let me know! Ryan
