Greetings, Survivors!
This major update introduces the highly anticipated Village Wall system to fortify your settlement, alongside the new Preserving Bin for food management. We've also added tons of quality-of-life features like "Hold to Collect," equipment comparison tooltips, and significant improvements to the Pillory/Mercy systems!
Also, we are always collecting feedback from you through Steam, Discord, videos, and more. So, we added more improvements based on your input. Thank you. Keep it coming!

3. Mercy System & Combat Tweaks

Interaction Changes: When an enemy begs for mercy, you can now Tap to free them (triggering the loot window) or Hold to arrest them and send them to the Pillory.
Loot Balance: Enemies successfully sent to the Pillory as prisoners will no longer drop their regular combat loot.
Multiplayer Sync: Fully synchronized all mercy and arrest actions for multiplayer clients.
Combat & AI:
Village Guards have received a damage buff and several animation fixes to make them more effective in raids.
Tweaked general enemy behavior, improved detection logic, and refined how enemy stun and taunt animations are handled.
Fixed a bug where enemies would awkwardly hover or slide toward the player from far away.
4. World, Environment & Economy
Resource Respawning: Trees and rocks in the North Plains now have proper respawn timers. We also significantly improved the respawn behavior of all destructible props to ensure perfect save file compatibility.
Item Decay: Introduced a new item decay time multiplier to better balance how quickly perishables spoil over time.
