Public matchmaking is planned for MustScream. When creating a server, you will be able to set it as a public server, allowing you to play with other players without needing a room ID. As before, you can still play using room IDs or Steam invites. If you want to play with friends only, please use a private server. Text chat will also be added to the lobby to make communication and coordination easier. This feature is currently in a prototype stage, so bugs or unexpected issues may occur. A new map, “Temple,” will be added to MustScream. Temple is a map where parts of the stage are randomly generated, causing the layout to change every time you play. Explore the dark corridors of the temple and find your way to escape through ever-changing routes and situations. In this update, we have implemented a feature that allows you to send invitations directly from your Steam friends list.

This enables you to join games smoothly through your Steam friends, in addition to the traditional server ID search method.

If you are unable to search by server ID, please use the invitation feature from your Steam friends list.

We will continue to make improvements to ensure an even more comfortable gameplay experience.

Some players are currently experiencing issues connecting to multiplayer. We are actively investigating the cause, but in the meantime, here are some possible solutions:

🔧 Temporary Solutions

• Change Download Region Setting the Steam “Download Region” to the same as the person you're playing with may help resolve the connection issue. How to set: Steam Client → Settings → Downloads → Download Region

• Reinstall the Game Uninstalling and reinstalling the game may resolve the issue.

• Update the Steam Client Updating the Steam client to the latest version may help resolve the issue.
