Hello, this is Sunwood Games.
Thanks to the invaluable feedback and warm support from our players during the year-long
Early Access journey, Murim Survival will officially launch on May 5, 2026.
Ahead of the official launch, the 1.0 version patch has already been applied in-game
so you can play it right away. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to
all the martial artists who have joined us on this long journey, and we want to share
the direction of the already-applied 1.0 update and our pricing policy for the official launch.
This 1.0 update focused heavily on strengthening the game's foundation to meet more players worldwide.
Global Support: Added 7 new languages and completed localization QA.
Optimization & Polishing: Optimized UI/UX for language expansion and completed final polishing to enhance overall game quality.
Store Page Revamp: Updated with a new trailer and screenshots to better showcase the charm of Murim Survival.
Because we focused our development time on this process, the volume of new in-game content
may feel somewhat smaller than usual. As this was a necessary step to build a solid foundation
for the big leap of our official launch, we ask for your generous understanding.
We were considering a price increase in line with the expanded volume and value of the
game upon official release. However, taking to heart the feedback from players that
"the current price is already somewhat burdensome," we have decided not to proceed
with the planned price increase.
Furthermore, to maintain fairness with those who trusted and purchased the game during
Early Access, and to preserve the value of the game, we will not be reducing the price either.
We would appreciate your generous understanding.
After a long development period, we are finally presenting the most complete form of
Murim Survival first through this 1.0 version. Currently, there are no plans for large-scale
new content or DLCs, and we are focusing entirely on safely delivering a high-quality
1.0 version to you.
Until the official launch on May 5th, we will listen closely to your feedback from playing
the current 1.0 version and reflect it to maximize the game's quality. Of course, even
after the official launch, we will continue to provide patches for balance adjustments,
quality of life improvements, and bug fixes, so please actively share any feedback you have.
On May 5th, we will see you again with the finally completed Murim Survival.
Thank you sincerely for being with us on this long journey.
Sincerely, Sunwood Games

Hello, this is Sunwood Games.
Over the past month, we have focused on implementing new skills and the "Synergy System,"
which grants special effects by combining various techniques and artifacts.
In this post, we would like to share our major progress and future plans.
1. New Content: Synergy System
The Synergy System is divided into two independent categories: "Active Skill Synergy" and "Curios Synergy." Each system operates separately, allowing players to strategically craft diverse builds.
Active Skill Synergy (5 Types Completed): Sword, Energy, Hidden Weapon, Taoist Magic, Ancient Martial Arts Synergy
Curios Synergy (12 Types Completed): Unique synergies exclusive to various Curios with diverse effects.
System Details: By leveling up your Active Skills or Curios, you can increase the corresponding Synergy Tier. Reaching specific milestones will provide powerful bonus effects to bolster your build.
2. Other Changes
Implemented 2 new martial arts and 2 evolved martial arts.
Early Build Enhancements: We have implemented traits designed to strengthen the skills and effects typically obtained in the early stages of the game.
Combat Level-up UI Overhaul: The level-up screen has been redesigned for a more strategic experience.
Top: View your currently owned Active Skills and Curios.
Left: Check your character's detailed stats.
Right: Monitor available Synergies and level-specific information in real-time.
Overall Balancing: Rebalancing all stages to align with the new Synergy System.
Content Expansion: Adding Ascension difficulty to the Snowfield of Memories and new Achievements.
Optimization: Ongoing build testing, balance adjustments, and UI/UX improvements based on player feedback.
Localization: Working on adding support for additional languages.
The new update is scheduled for release between February and March, provided there are no major issues. (Please note that additional language support and the official release may coincide with this update or follow shortly after, depending on the final schedule.)
We sincerely thank you for supporting Murim Survival and providing us with your valuable feedback. We will continue to do our best to bring you a more polished and complete experience.
