Spend not-coins on Festive Familiars

Spend your hard earned not-coins on a Festive Familiar from Secret Santa’s personal stash. Each familiar has its own price and you can only purchase them 4 times per day.

Buy Milk and Cookies for Santa

They can be game modes, mutators or characters, but take care. Santa is famously stingy, so he’ll charge you increasingly more with each transaction!

You get coal for losing, but can exchange it for goodies once per day

Losing makes Santa sad, so with every round you lose, you'll get increasingly more Coal. Luckily, you can exchange it for items from the Not-A-Store. Hey gang! We've put out a small patch where we added a toggle for the Halloween effect as well as some small bug fixes. To sweeten the deal, we're also going to extend the event for an additional 4 days!

Patch notes below:

• Added "Seasonal Toggle" in the Character menu in Not-A-Store in order to turn seasonal effects (Halloween Smoke + Horns) off and on
• Fixed the Rainbow effect bugging out the when the Trail of Smoke + Demon-Horns outline were active on a character
• Fixed an instance where the "Treat" algorithm would bug out and no longer appear for a small number of players that met certain criteria

All you have to do to get in on the action is play Move or Die and win online matches during our Halloween Special, between October 26th and November 9th. Once per day, after you get a win, the choice is yours - either you treat yourself to a free Not-A-Store Item or you receive a tricked out outline for one of your characters! 🕷️ Tricked Out Characters: Get your characters tricked out with a unique cosmetic, tailor made for scaring the pants off your opponents. Love it or hate it, summer is here in all its red-hot glory. Since for many of us this just means more reasons to stay inside, we figured it's a good time to spice up our roster with some brand new summer-themed characters and consumables. So grab your shades, slather on some sunscreen, and let's jump right in! Hi everyone! With so much going on all the time, caring is getting to be a bit of a chore, especially during the holidays. That’s why, for this winter update, we’re tuning out the trauma and opening up our hearts to all things cozy! From cuddles to hot cocoa and perfectly fitting snuggies, this update is all about kicking back and taking a breather while the world goes to heck around us.  First of all, we have a tender trio of cozy characters you should all get to know!

As the leaves do their thing and seasonal depression sets in, we wanted to mix things up a bit for our yearly Halloween Update. And by “things” we definitely mean body parts.    Please give a warm welcome to our latest seasonal special - The Splice It Up Mini-Update!    So there’s this doctor, right? And he likes to take a little bit of this and a little bit of that and then put everything back together in no discernable order, like if Humpty Dumpty was operated on by Frankenstein. Some of the good doctor’s ensuing monstrosities have somehow escaped and are now on the loose, terrorizing average Joes. The least you can do is get to know them, maybe that’ll give you some sort of upper hand:

  We’ll go out on a limb and guess you’ll have a blast losing friends and causing mayhem in these skins.  As with every Halloween update, we’ve also given Move or Die a monstrous makeover, complete with pools of blood, sinister sounds and pictures that you’ll see in Rorschach form for years to come!  There are creepy cosmetics to be had, with items such as DNA trails and Chalk Outline death splatters up for grabs as soon as the update goes live. And as an extra treat, we're bringing all the Dead by Daylight Collab items back in rotation, just in case you missed them the first time around. Hey all! Hope you had a blast last weekend during the Shuriken Parry free weekend! We'll admit that for the longest time, the Shuriken Parry game mode was a teeeeeeny tiny bit broken. Determining what made it crash proved to be quite difficult, so we rewrote it completely from scratch! That's the Shuriken Parry you played in the Free Weekend. We can't be 100% it's going to work for everyone, but it's proved to be more stable than the previous version you were all used to crapping out. No more broken game mode! Hurrah! As a token of our appreciation to those of you that played Shuriken Parry during the Free Weekend (read: were our guinea pigs, we love you), we've gifted it directly to the inventories of everyone who played it online. Hey there everyone,  Hope you’re all enjoying your summer vacations, frolicking in the sun and whatnot. Actually, that’s what we wanted to talk to you about. Not only summer, but nature. Today, July 28th, is the World Nature Conservation Day - a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of preserving the environment and all its gifts. This year, we wanted to take part in the celebration ourselves, so we made a donation to the Clean Air Task Force, an environmental organization that’s all about reducing global carbon emissions to address climate change. And that's not all! We came up with a cute new character to remind ourselves always to do our part to protect nature.  Everybody, meet Beanie! Hey there buds or shall we say survivors? 😱

Surprised? Careful, that’s one of the first steps in getting yourself murdered.  Here’s what you’ll find or, more probably, what may find you in this killer collaboration! 

Killers on the loose

This wouldn’t be much of a guest appearance without us giving the ol’ Move or Die makeover to some of Dead by Daylight’s creepiest killers… plus Genny! You can now bump in the dark, especially when playing with the Lights Off mutator, against certified slayers like Trapper, Huntress or Blight, but also sigh in relief at the sight of Genny, a lighter addition to our roster. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/6909713/35d58534d427ad4b9211e5343add50b342459f0f.gif

Blood-curdling cosmetics 

Killers often leave their mark at the scene of the crime, so we came up with some appropriate items for you to hang on to while cowering in fear. There’s a Scratches Trail to let others know that danger is near, a new Dead by Daylight-inspired Emote Wheel for when you’re too terrified to talk and new Death Splatters for when you inevitably meet your demise.  {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/6909713/be1266e054475f18b21a34d7a790b1ab07974fc8.gif All of the new characters and cosmetics will be unlocked at random by playing online matches. 

Game Mode Makeover

  To keep up with this update’s killer theme, certain game modes have also gotten the horror treatment - Radiation, Loot Grab and Spike Ball are now adorned with Dead by Daylight cosmetics which will be available for a month from now.  {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/6909713/85e8ec0c9832e8ece965bed80b510e3a641f5fbd.gif Last but not least, we’re unlocking 6 New Community Debt Characters for you to enjoy. We teased you, now it’s time to please you! It's been a cool minute since we last came up with a new game mode ,but now it's time to deliver. A tale tailor-made for troublemakers

It all started with our 6-Year Adventure, which like the past actual year, quickly turned kind of grim. As our four trouble-seeking protagonists went about their yearly anniversary tour, they found themselves blundering about an ancient temple. One thing led to another and one of them, most likely Count, couldn’t help themselves and opened the mysterious Pandora’s Box. This promptly led to every evil breaking free into the world starting with the damned box itself. Some of these evils are worse than others, with a few even taking Joe form and finding their way into Move or Die.

The all seeing eyes of ouch!

The gist of the curse is straightforward. To survive Pandora’s wrath all you have to do is hide from her all-seeing eyes and evade their beams of death. The last Joe standing is spared and gets to declare himself the winner. If it sounds a bit unnerving it’s because it is: {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/6909713/143c7560adca885ac38c5a8f0c8ddf11d0879276.gif To get this new Rare-rated game mode all you have to do is provide the appropriate amount of Not-Coins and enjoy the havoc. Another thing worth mentioning is that the drop rates for game modes and mutators has been tweaked since the 6 Year Anniversary Update rolled out and we’d really appreciate the community’s input on this change and if it’s been noticeable so far. Please let us know in the comments or on our dedicated Discord channel. We're really trying to find a good balance for this, that makes the unlocks feel rewarding for everyone involved.

A silver lining for a sinister curse

Now, preaching all doom and destruction can get a little dull, so here are a few positive things we can look forward to in the following months. Another great game-mode is in the making that we’re pretty sure you’ll absolutely die for. It’s a bona-fide killer! Hey there gang! Remember that last update where we made a ton of promises? Those sounded good, right? Time sure flies when you're having fun! Doesn't it just fill you with existential dread? Now, let's all calm down a little bit and finally get back to addressing those promises that we made. First of all, we finally have a new game mode in the pipeline!!! We don't wanna spoil too much about it, but you can be sure that avoiding those demonic eyes is gonna be one of your top priorities. Complementing the new mode, we have the titular Pandora’s Box as a character! This box loves making people miserable, and hopefully you can use it to make your friends hate you even more than they already do. We have the front and rear ends of a reindeer, a kid with a needlessly complex Shakespearean costume and, because it’s Christmas after all, a Bible-accurate angel to watch over you while you sleep. What's to come in 2022!

Last but not least, we leave you with the greatest gift of all - promises! This year, we dedicated all of our time and resources towards guaranteeing a steady flow of cosmetics and professional localization work to the game. While this was a very pretty big deal for us, we're once again confirming the fact that we hear you loud and clear. You want NEW GAME MODES and MUTATORS, as well as other additional ways to spice up your Move or Die experience from a gameplay standpoint. For 2022, while the speed at which we bring updates to the game might slow down a bit, we are 100% committed to bringing at least 3 new game modes (that are already in development) as well as a handful of new mutators, to make them even more crazy. In 2022, we're also dedicated to fixing a lot of the longstanding issues and bugs that have been plaguing the game for the last couple of years. Yes, this includes such classics as the Shuriken Parry issue, the infamous audio glitch, as well as a slew of other stability issues for all platforms (Linux included). So keep your eyes peeled for the 6th Year Anniversary Roadmap, which will be announced sometime in early Spring 2022. This time it’s got grandeur, it’s got grit and even a dash of danger, so without further ado please welcome The Grand Russian Heist mini-update, complete with a new and improved Russian language localization! It hasn’t been easy, but as with any heist, we expect a big payout by the end. But the lovely Russian language isn’t all we bring to the table, there are also three brand-new heist-themed characters that can’t wait to crack some in-game skulls. There’s the stern but fair Barry - our trusted security guard that may or may not be in on the whole thing. Then comes Egg-Eggovich, the priceless egg-shaped artefact that makes-up this mini-update’s main object of desire and, last but not least, Ma’Trioshka - the last line of defence in a highly sophisticated security system. Think of her like a frag grenade disguised as a museum exhibit. Even though 2021 has so far been another year of mostly in-door activities, our plan to bring Move or Die to as many audiences as possible for our 5th Anniversary Journey, is still very much right on track. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/6909713/0ee141bcd04e1b17728d87d35d58a9f54e75b92f.png While earlier this year, our main characters traveled through mainland China, to bring everyone the ‘’Lunar New Year Mini-Update'’, the time has finally come for us to make a pit stop in lovely Latin America! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/6909713/6f0fbafd756762f8dce89cc7d1af95ba007e2789.png With the ‘’La Fiesta Latina Mini-Update’’ we plan on taking another look at the Brazilian Portuguese and Argentinian Spanish localizations that are currently in the game, while also spicing things up with a couple new character skins that we know you’ll love to pick in your friendly brawls both on the couch and online. Thus, get ready to meet Al, the traveling Alpaca; Nada, the snackable tango dancer and Jo, the tactical ball! {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/6909713/1dbba05e0673fc4f4f0ee9eeb2eb3c66b2736472.jpg Al is a pretty laid back dude. That could be either because he is originally from a country with “Chill” in its name or because, generally, alpacas dislike drama. Though sometimes she might seem a little too hot to handle, you can rest easy knowing that her crusty exterior hides a warm heart and a whole lot of flavor. Joseph Gabonito (also known as Jo to their friends) works hard and plays hard. In their spare time, they like to kickback, relax and just roll with whatever the day throws at them. Though beloved by millions around the world, Jo can’t help but feel that sometimes people just hang around them for kicks and giggles. These three characters will be unlockable through the Community Debt Bar system. So get online and play a couple of rounds of the Community Debt Challenge! As this is a community wide effort, every small bit of contribution counts. Believe it or not, our Move or Die adventure has been going on for 5 years now. I guess time flies by fast when you’re running for your lives. The good news is that even though it’s been half a decade since we began this hectic journey, we’re in no way planning on slowing down. Travelling the World

We’re planning a whole series of mini-updates featuring destinations from all around the world. Even though we have some objectives in mind, our travel itinerary is pretty flexible. Please tell us in the comments about what countries and cultures you think we should visit next. Be it an urban sprawl, rain forest or tundra, we’re up for any adventure! Be wary, as not all the places we’ll be travelling to are real life locations. You can also expect a few interesting crossover events with some awesome games that you might already have enjoyed or are still currently playing in your daily rotation.
