So, to make your life and gamethrough / walkthrough / playthrough (omg, pronunciation rocks hard in here) is easier and even more chiller, we've prepped some tips & tricks for you. No spoilers ahead so feel free to read it out loud and tell your family, pets and friends, so everyone can enjoy the smooth feeling of cleaning (still better than IRL, right?). 🧽🫧
If you're not interested in making your life easy (hello Hardcorers!), scroll down to watch Steam Deck Verification Trailer. 🎬
Zen Mode – significantly slows down the regrowth of mold for a more relaxed gameplay experience. No rush, no stress, just pure chill-out!
Clean step by step – don’t go crazy with your tools and splashing water randomly everywhere; instead, try to focus on cleaning one piece at a time. This will make it much easier to get the mold under control, which tends to spread everywhere and keep coming back.
Tools first, then the upgrades – it’s best to unlock and buy all the tools first, and only then upgrade them. The more tools you have available, the more levels you’ll be able to access!
If you run out of cash – or if you want to upgrade your tools, go back to the map and select one of the levels you’ve already unlocked. An extra bit of cash always comes in handy! You can also pop into the garage from time to time (this isn’t mandatory to complete the game).
"Auto-fire" - you can press "R" anytime or set up in the Settings "auto-fire" mode (we would say, auto-cleaning), so you don't have to hold LMB the whole time. It doesn't mean you can just leave your mouse, keyboard or gamepad. Come on, there's a lot to do!

In Moldwasher, between Nigri's cleaning missions, you will enter the hub. Feel free to treat it as your very own home. Sit back, relax, rest, recharge, and stay for a while. Shuffle some CDs, listen to chill music, and decorate your space as you like. You can customize your home with collectible items and stickers. 🎁
You will find customization items during your washing and vacuuming adventure. Collectibles can be found beneath wild-spreading mold and on the various surfaces. If you want to catch them all, don't rush. Watch the environment carefully, play slowly, wash, clean, vacuum, to uncover all meme-fuelled items! 🖼️
Additionally, in the hub, you can try your luck with Gachapon, where even more adorable items are waiting for you to be drawn. Every 5 coins you collect during your gameplay can be spent in the slot machine. Whether you have one or dozens of items, put them on the wall and shelves. Decorate your home just like in real life, but this time, you don't have to listen your parents screaming. Wink, wink! 😏

We’re excited to announce that Moldwasher will launch on Steam on June 23, 2026!
We're fully committed to delivering the game next month! We're on a schedule on a full QA mode mixed with localization progress and polishing the final features. We hope you will watch closely the upcoming announcements because we have plenty of things to unveil! Moldwasher will be available along with the Lo-Fi atmospheric soundtrack and achievements, and we're also focused on providing the polished controller support together with the Steam Deck compatibility.
The game will be available in 12 supported languages: English, Polish, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Portuguese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Turkish.
Let's be honest - Your feedback and actions as a Steam user matter. We would love to encourage you to play and leave a review on the Moldwasher Demo page. The more positive reviews, the bigger possibility to become popular on Steam! As a reward, we want to promise you that you will have a chance to play the updated demo with the never-before-seen levels before the game launch. When will it happen? We're sure you're smart enough to deduce the upcoming festival for game demos in mid-June, but let's keep it as a secret for now!

Hello! Yesterday, we promised we’d be back with additional information about a new mechanic that’s quickly making its way to Moldwasher.
Meet The Elevator! Our tiny hero faces challenges that sometimes quite literally require reaching the ceiling. The elevator is a new mechanic that will give you access to the trickier parts of the kitchen. Of course, as befits a proper cleaning simulator, using the elevator will also require you to spray the right buttons to move to the desired spot.
