Mirth Melody news & patch notes

Greetings, Mirth folks! The latest update for Mirth Melody is finally here! We've done our best to address the issues posted on the discussion forum. Here are the changes:

New Features

• Added French localization by Miel/M.E
• Added a glyph icon and instruction for throwing items
• Added a new option for changing screen resolution
• Added a new option to enable/disable full-screen mode
• Added a new option for adjusting graphic quality

Fixes

• Optimized shaders for better performance
• Slightly improved optimization in the forest scene
• Updated some note timings to better sync with the music
• Fixed a bug causing the menu to become unresponsive when quitting during the rhythm game

Notes

• If you're having difficulty pressing 3 buttons simultaneously, it might be due to a limitation of your keyboard hardware. Since this is a hardware issue, we won’t include 3 simultaneous notes in future updates.

We’ve noticed a few common questions, so here’s a quick Q&A to keep you in the loop: Q: Will there be more content updates? A: Absolutely! But right now, we’re focused on fixing a few issues. New songs (and content) will come a bit later. Q: The game sometimes gets laggy. Can you fix this? A: Yeah, that’s on us. We didn’t test it enough on weaker devices. We’re working on optimizing it for the next patch. Q: Why aren’t the notes synced with the beats accurately? A: We’re fixing this in the next update! Q: Can I change the resolution? It doesn’t look great on a widescreen. A: We’ve got a fix coming in the next update. Q: I know this game is part of the bigger game called Mirth Island. Will playing Mirth Melody spoil Mirth Island for me? A: Not at all! We’ve got different dialogues and songs for both games, so you’re safe. Q: How can I share my feedback?
