Hello folks,

Happy Halloween! We are still working on the new UI, the new regular creature and a new map, but unfortunately it is taking longer than expected.

As a small consolation, we have added a seasonal creature. Those of you who are Winchester hunters may already be familiar with it.

The creature is a bit older and the journal is currently having issues with it (please do not select any evidence or remove all evidence, then you will be able to log in the seasonal creature).

A new permanent enemy: Anubis

{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40012727/7820e577a0bbe85b1fe0d9afd1469c591c856db8.png Anubis is an Egyptian god of death rites and guide to the underworld. His origin is not clear. According to some sources, he is the son of Osiris and according to others, a son of the god Re. Anubis helped the goddess Isis to reassemble Osiris from corpse parts so that Osiris could ascend to his throne in the underworld. He is a very powerful creature. Anubis is not evil, but he does not like it when people do not respect the peace of the dead. We have probably incurred his wrath with our ghost hunts... He is only visible in the underworld, but can also attack you from the underworld. To destroy him, you have to draw a portal on a wall with chalk and use an incantation to ask Osiris to open the portal to the underworld. Then you must find an Anubis mask in the underworld and only then will Anubis be vulnerable with a knife. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40012727/cfd54fe469e88e66aa329b5f8dc22328e09f9141.gif - If you dropped or picked up money, the amount was not saved correctly - MetaCrew missions were not saved correctly - It happened that the siren song did not freeze the players - Other minor bug fixes

Known issues:

We are currently experiencing a bug where the game sometimes freezes when you click on "Leave Lobby" in the pause menu. This bug is known and is being investigated. In addition, we have not yet been able to reproduce the bug that causes missions not to be displayed. In a few exceptions, this error also leads to the multiplayer not working. We were able to find out that the game does not connect to our server in such cases. If you are affected, we recommend that you add the game to the exceptions list of the Windows firewall and possibly other firewalls. It may also help to temporarily disable external anti-virus programs. Please write to us if you have this problem. Unfortunately, the announced save system turned out to be more complex. End hunt instantly
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40012727/c02d2cf5ed2f51b4895460cb903253e13d109370.png This PowerUp ends an ongoing hunt. This is very useful if you want to end the hunt as a creature to save yourself. Outside of the hunt, it will reduce the chance of a hunt.
Teleport to random location
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40012727/25d7547a56317f65b52392820e84978fc66f25a4.png This PowerUp also allows you to free yourself from an unpleasant situation. It won't end the hunt, but it will teleport you to a random location on the map. If you were trapped in a pentagram, it will destroy the pentagram.

SaveSystem: Changed the way the game saves. Should fix save game problems some players experienced.
MetaClans: Clan Reputation should update to the same numbers in Lobbys
Elevator: Some players were teleported back to the spawn if they fell through the elevator. Most of the times this happened when the elevator was faster than the synchronization of the players positions.

We were not able to reproduce the bug where the clan of a players is deleted. It happened two times until now. If you experience this bug please tell us what you did before so we can fix it. Thank you! Have a nice week! Andre and Dennis

Vampire gender was wrong
Expert points for vampire was overwritten with 0
sometimes some notes in Bradfordshirestreet could not be found (please continue to let us know if this is still the case)
the game now sends us an automatic error report when a save file readout error occurs. This helps us to find out the possible causes of errors when save files are lost

We have reactivated the Steam cloud. There have been issues in the past where players have lost their saves files. You can activate or deactivate the Steam Cloud by right-clicking on MetaPhysical on Steam under "General". If you have problems with your save file or have lost it, please open a ticket on our Discord server with the command "/ticket". Alternatively, you can also send an e-mail to [email protected]. To ensure that the deceased remained dead and did not become a vampire or strigoi, the human remains were often killed several times, body parts were cut off and then burned. Vampires feed on the blood and life force of the living.

A new map: St. Robert Smith Cemetery

The cemetery was established in the Middle Ages, but has lost little of its charm since then. Hello folks! As you already know, MetaPhysical is going into full release on December 9th! To celebrate the occasion, we have planned a very special weekend for you.

Friday:

On December 8th at 6pm (CET) we will play the release version together with gamehauntings , which will be available for everyone on December 9th. We will also introduce the new seasonal creature. Check it out and see what cool new feature we have implemented into the game! (Spoiler: It's awesome!)

Saturday:

On December 9th at 7pm (CET) we will play together with hasgarson, lieblingsotter and vischuh21 + a very special guest. There will also be a very special event from 11pm (CET): an in-game concert by the band "Decay of Today" to celebrate the release of their first album in December. The concert is unique and will take place for every player who is in the game and in a lobby at the time. At each of the events, there will be giveaways from our game for the streamers. So it's worth tuning in! We are also happy to announce that we will continue to work on the game after the full release and add more creatures and maps. So you can look forward to seeing how MetaPhysical develops! We are very happy about everyone who stops by! Until then, we wish you all a great week! You now have the possibility to open the options menu respectively the pause menu before loading into the bunker or next to the car
You can now improve the game performance by selecting the "less ambience" option under "Graphics" in the options menu
We've given you a little hint about an upcoming cool feature (this hint is located in the bunker, next to the role rooms)

You could not use the stairs in the witch design of the bunker
You sometimes had problems entering the main building of the monastery
The NPC's sometimes had wrong voices in the bunker
Some players had no available missions displayed in Hunter's Crew
Fixed music player sound bug

We also worked on the bug where players were losing money after a Billy mission. We hope that this bug is now a thing of the past. Please let us know if this is not the case. You may also find that the loading times are longer. This is just an illusion. We have extended some of the loading screens so that players don't have to wait for the game to finish loading while standing in the bunker. Have a nice weekend! Andre and Dennis

PvP: Power Ups now appear every two minutes regardless of the creature played. Power Ups will continue to appear after creature interactions as well.

Hunters Crew: Money is now correctly subtracted from your account balance.
Hunters Crew: You can no longer move while the Hunter Crew menu is open.
Hostages: Once the creature has been eliminated, the hostage will leave the building. There were problems with this on some maps.
On some maps there were problems eliminating the Grieving Gargoyle.
Cash drop: You can no longer drop cash when a menu is open.
Prepper Box: Sometimes the box was spawned oddly so that it was empty.
Roles: Dead players can no longer drop role objects.

Save the hostages!

{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/40012727/e2e702f5f427444b46b08080524f6f5e34744ce4.png Depending on the map sometimes hostages will spawn. You can free them to get extra money. You free the hostage with a left click of the mouse (with empty hands). Then you have to eliminate the creature first and only then the hostage is considered to be rescued. Note, however, that there is a small money penalty if you fail to free the hostage.

New bunker designs!

You can collect these: already collected relics can now be found in the new relic room, which you can reach with the elevator. In this room you can also summon a new bunker design. For such a bunker design you need 5 relics of the same kind. Each bunker design replaces Billy with a new NPC!

Hunter's Crew!

Your hunters can level up and you can equip them. When your hunters are recovering from a hunt or have nothing to do, they hang out in your bunker. Note, however, that they can also die during missions. For each successfully completed mission you will receive money and your hunters will receive experience points.
