If your game is crashing with an AMD gpu there are two potential fixes: Fix 1: Rollback drivers to 26.3.1 ^ This is confirmed to fix the problem Fix 2: Go to windows settings -> Display Settings -> Graphics -> Advanced graphics settings -> Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling -> Off, then restart pc ^ This worked for subnautica 2 which was having a similar issue, and is easier than rolling back drivers but might not fix the problem Patch Notes: Added rank and level to main menu Fixed some desync issues with boggarts and the bone dog Fixed desync issues with sticky tongue Fixed exiting polymorph making the book equipping animation weird I think I made dragons breath to more damage but i forget Made the starting portal look different to worm holes Made boggarts randomly come out of their mounds every once in a while Some other small ui changes

You can now choose 4 spells from a pool of 8 to have in your spellbook (the new ones are pixie dust, polymorph, sticky tongue, and dragons breath), There's new PvE in the dead forest (look for the mounds of mud) and a new craftable item from it, There's a dog that guards the catacombs, I remade the lobby system, You can join/rejoin games that have already started, although this might be buggy and can be toggled on or off. If you toggle this on for public lobbies they will show up in the public lobby finder until the game ends, The games performance should be better, There's bubbles in the bog but they're rare, The player limit is now 10 but I'm not sure how stable that's gonna be especially on lower end computers/internet connections, The flag editor became slightly scuffed. I don't know what happened but I dont wanna touch it because it is complete spaghetti code and breaks easily, And then a bunch of bug fixes and some qol stuff Let me know in the discord if the game is not working I may have broke it. If you saw the announcement ~2 months ago, that didn't really come together as I had imagined. Anything announced that isn't included here is canceled for now sorry about that.

We have found the issue is steam nick names, HAVE THE HOST CLEAR EVERYONES NICKNAMES I added checks that kick you for name spoofing so that it was harder for cheaters to dodge the blocklist, but if the host has nicknames for players sent there will be a mismatch in the official steam name so they will be auto kicked, i am working on a fix sorry!

trying to fix bugs where fireball would oneshot due to incorrect server damage checks fixed a bug where the 1v1s would not show the victory screen trying to fix a bug where freeze was not hitting correctly people on this version will still be able to play with people on the previous version the only person these changes matter for is the host, so if the host has updated all players will have the above changes

fixed a bug where spell pages had no cooldown after 2 minutes fixed a bug where players would start at spell level 8

freeze, magic missle, and thunderbolt voice detection improvements the region size to find matches has been increased to the max so regions with lower playercounts should be able to find games now, i will be monitoring if this causes ping issues permanent blocklist for hosts and a (hopefully) always working kick option anti cheat measures, not sure how effective these will be long term, but it will break a lot of the currently available public cheats hopefully option to clear custom flags in settings and disable them for the match in the join team screen golems are now killable with melee weapons worm hole lasts much longer at early levels freeze damage nerfed late game bug fixes There is no new content this patch but stuff is on its way. I would rather do more spaced out large updates with lots of new stuff to do than frequent small updates that only add one or two new spells. The goal is that every once in a while people see theres a new mage arena update and can hop on for a few games to mess around with all the new stuff.

HOPEFULLY LOBBY FINDER IMPROVEMENTS fixed a bug where shadow wizards were invisible various small bug fixes BALANCE CHANGES: Dark blast hit box and damage buff, capped freeze duration instead of infinite scaling with levels, magic missiles are slightly less homing and slightly slower, thunderbolt hitbox slightly larger, fireball damage scaling was lowered last patch but I forgot to write it down hehe
