What is Luminas: Parasite Reign?

A party-based survivor roguelite where you control three magical creatures simultaneously against waves of parasites. Every run is a new puzzle of party composition, treasure/upgrades swaps, and evolution transformations.

Core features:

• Command 3 Luminas at once from a roster of 8 unique creatures

• 90+ treasures and relics you can freely swap between your party

• Evolution system: transform your Luminas into more powerful forms

• Deep skill trees for every Lumina

• Endgame content for long-term progression

Why Early Access?

We're a small team from Athens (Greece), and Luminas is our first game. Early Access lets us build the final version together with our community. Your feedback, discoveries, and requests will directly shape what Luminas becomes.

Our Early Access roadmap runs through 2026 with major updates every 1-2 months: new Luminas, more synergy spells, expanded skill trees, and additional maps. 1.0 is targeted for Q1 2027.

We will be playing Luminas Parasite Reign, our 3D party roguelite. In Luminas, you create your party for each run choosing from 8 different characters. There are dps, healers, tanks and you are free to select any party composition you desire! Combined with evolutions, skilltrees and treasures that you can equip, you are ableto create different builds and playstyles to challenge the enemy parasites, depending on what you like to play!

Hey everyone, We’ve tested Luminas: Parasite Reign on the Steam Deck, and we’re happy to confirm that the game runs smoothly at 90 FPS, with clear and readable text at the device’s native resolution.

Specifically, we’ve personally tested the game on Valve’s handheld, and the results couldn’t be better:

- Runs at a stable 90 FPS

- Fully optimized for the Steam Deck resolution

- All UI and text are clear and perfectly readable

From early in development, we aimed to make Luminas fully playable on the Steam Deck. After extensive testing, we’re glad to see that goal realized, the game performs reliably and feels great on handheld.

As we move closer to Early Access, our focus remains on ensuring stable performance and a consistent experience across all supported devices.

Our very first Luminas: Parasite Reign playtest has officially wrapped up, and we couldn’t be more grateful to every single one of you who jumped in, tested, and shared feedback. More than 200 players signed up for the playtest, giving us the motivation to keep expanding and improving the game.

What’s Next?

We’re already hard at work building the next wave of content:

• A completed (more polish and chaos) 25minute map with 4 to 5 bosses (included at the playtest)

• More theme maps to have fun

• Unique skill trees for each Lumina, letting you build wildly different strategies.

Our goal is to deliver a more complete and exciting version of Luminas: Parasite Reign for Early Access, and maybe a second playtest may be on the way 👀
