Originally, the game was going to be titled "Inamorato", an Italian word referring to a man who is a lover, a male sweetheart, or a male romantic partner. While we very much liked the elegance of the name, the title on its own did not immediately communicate the game's themes. We also felt it was important to include "Gigolo" in the title, as it more directly reflects the game's premise. As a result, we ultimately chose the longer but more descriptive title "Love vs Lust: The story of a Gigolo".

Katherine Lavinia Thornton was inspired by a long-haired blonde woman and so the character was initially envisioned with long hair. In the end, we opted for a shorter hairstyle, as it made her appear more intimidating and menacing.

In the original version of the game, your first encounter with Jane took place at a supermarket. But instead of being an employee, she was portrayed as a shoplifter.

Hey everyone!

It’s been a hectic few weeks since the release of Love vs Lust: The Story of a Gigolo. We want to thank everyone who decided to give the game a try, we hope you enjoyed the experience!

We’ve already started working on some new bonus scenes as additional content. The good news is that you won’t need to replay the game to access them. If you’ve already met the required conditions, the new scenes will be available to play right away once they’re released.

That said, we’re taking a short break over the next week to recharge. Once we’re back, we’ll continue working to finalize the first batch of bonus content.

Aria and Kylie were in the original draft and were meant to be the main love interests. They ended up being two new clients you meet early in the game.

Fun fact: Aria was originally blonde in the concept art, but we thought there was already enough blonde representation, so we switched her hair color to red.
