Love the Guard, Be the King - A Visual Novel news & patch notes

Hello, everyone!

I hope you're all safe and healthy wherever you are.

In this small update, I fixed a bunch of typos, adjusted a tiny inconsistency in chapter four, and, as I promised last month, added a new Dark Mode to the game, yay! This one should make it more comfortable for those of you who (like me) prefer to read in the dark.

You can activate/deactivate the Light mode in the game menu, just above the music volume:

Please let me know if you have any trouble with it (I'm still adjusting it here and there).

I also have some cool news! I've already started working on Ward the Dragon, Love the King, the next game in the series, and I reached 22k words this month, yay!

I'm very excited about how the story is progressing, and I cannot wait to share more with you as soon as possible. Feel free to check my socials if you want to follow the development of the next game.

• Adjusted a few scenes to fix some continuity mistakes

• Removed a few unused files

Plans for the next update:

• Create a "Light Mode" and "Dark Mode" to avoid the constant glaring white while reading.

I'm so happy to announce that you can already play Love the Guard, Be the King on Steam!

It's finally time to dive into Opala's court and intrigues and experience your Dragon Commander's story for yourself. ♥ Love the Guard, Be the King has 270k+ words, beautiful CGs, sprites, more than 100 choices, lots of action, and five routes with one main romance (Mathias) and a possible fling (Mandra).
