What is Lost & Found: A This Bed We Made Story?

Lost & Found is a standalone story set a few years after the events of our first game, This Bed We Made. You play as returning protagonist Sophie Roy in her new role as a stewardess and investigate a mysterious series of thefts aboard a 1960s transatlantic ship.

Do I need to own This Bed We Made to play?

No. Lost & Found is a standalone experience and can be played without owning a copy of This Bed We Made.

How long is it?

Lost & Found is designed as a compact narrative experience that can be completed in approximately one to two hours.

Can I save my progress anywhere?

There are no manual saves. The game saves automatically at regular checkpoints. Whenever the “Saving...” icon appears in the bottom-left corner of the screen, your progress is being saved.

What languages are supported?

Lost & Found is currently available in the following languages:

Audio: English, French Subtitles: English, French

What platforms is it available on?

Lost & Found is available on PC via Steam. Information regarding additional platforms will be shared at a later date.

Will it be available on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One?

No. Lost & Found is not planned for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or other previous-generation consoles.

STORY & CONTENT

Do I need to play This Bed We Made first?

No. Lost & Found is designed to be enjoyed as a standalone story, but playing This Bed We Made first is recommended to get the most out of the narrative.

Are my choices from This Bed We Made taken into account?

Yes. At the start of the game, you’ll be able to recreate the choices and outcomes from your playthrough of This Bed We Made. If you haven’t played, default choices will be made for you to provide the best possible experience.

Is there a canon ending to This Bed We Made?

No. There is no canon ending. Every outcome is equally valid, and Lost & Found was designed with that in mind.

Is there replayability or are there different endings?

Yes, but on a smaller scale than in This Bed We Made. Your choices still influence character relationships and certain story moments, but the differences between playthroughs are generally more subtle.

Will the love interests from This Bed We Made return?

This standalone DLC intentionally focuses on Sophie and her personal journey. Because of that, Andrew and Beth don’t play an active role in this story. However, they remain an important part of Sophie’s life and the world we’ve built, and they certainly haven’t been forgotten.

Does the game address sensitive themes?

Yes. Lost & Found explores emotional and mature themes. While the story is handled with care and sensitivity, some scenes may be upsetting to certain players. We recommend reviewing the content warnings on the Steam store page before playing.

We’re excited to announce our new project. If you’re new here, let us start by introducing ourselves.

We’re the team behind This Bed We Made, a story-driven mystery game set in the 1950s. In the game, you play as Sophie, a hotel maid with a penchant for snooping through her guests’ belongings and uncovering the lives they lead behind closed doors. Her curiosity ultimately pulls her into a dark mystery unfolding within the hotel.

Since launching the game, we’ve been incredibly grateful to see it resonate with players and fans of narrative games around the world, selling over 200,000 copies across all platforms. As a small indie team, that milestone means everything to us. It has allowed us to grow, move forward together, and continue doing what we love most: making games.

That said, let’s talk about our upcoming project.

Our team has been hard at work for quite some time, and we’re thrilled to announce Lost & Found: A This Bed We Made Story, a standalone short story game coming later this year.

In Lost & Found, players step into the role of Sophie for a story set in the 1960s, a few years after the events of This Bed We Made. While this is a shorter narrative experience than our previous game, you will discover a new setting and enjoy the investigative gameplay, atmosphere, and meaningful choices that define our work.

Whether you are completely new to our games or discovering Sophie’s story for the first time, this new chapter is designed to welcome you with a self-contained experience while expanding the world we have created. 

Lost & Found: A This Bed We Made Story will launch later this year, and you can wishlist it now on Steam to support our team. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be updating the page regularly, rolling out reveals in stages, with each update unveiling something new about the game. Stay tuned and keep an eye out for what’s next!
