  How about some extra help in the great fight against the evil food corporation? Check out the massive new selection of enhancements which, once purchased, work across all cuisines.

• All Chefs are Unlockable from the Start

  If you wanted to try the skills of the additional chefs... now you can. New chefs with their unique skills can be purchased at the very start of the game, but it'll cost you some coins!

• Chefs can now Jump

  To be honest, it does not provide any additional help during the game, but, boy, it does look cool!

• Bug Fixes

  As always, we focus on taking care of some nasty bugs that were trying to ruin the fun of playing Let's Cook Together 2.

During onboarding, you will encounter introductory levels that progressively introduce you to the game's world. We want our game to be as best, as we can create it for you!

Polish story

Nareszcie, po tak długim czasie wprowadziliśmy polskie napisy do... ah sorry, force of habit :P But seriously guys, we heard you, we heard you loud and clear! We are from Poland, we speak polish, add 2 and 2 and we have polish subtitles in cutscenes in our DEMO now!

Let's Cook Together 2 Demo Update

Hello, aspiring chefs and culinary enthusiasts! We're delighted to present a sizzling new update to the "Let's Cook Together 2" Demo. Your appetite for cooking challenges has been heard, and we've been busy cooking up some exciting improvements. Let's dive into what's simmering in the kitchen:

Cutscenes

Get ready to immerse yourselves into culinary repertoire with a selection of delectable new cutscenes! From shivering scenes from the future, to chill stories about cooking, everyone will find something to grind their gears!

Level editor

That's right - you can create your own levels and play them. In the demo you can only create levels for the Polish cuisine and you cannot share them with the community - that is reserved for the full version when it comes.

Optimized level layouts

We made sure, that while playing our game, everyone will be able to do their job, have fun, and cook. We follow the principle widely known in the internet: 'Let Them Cook!!!'!

New music

The arsenal of music was extended with the climatic music of MINDSTEELNESS

Factory levels

We heard you. We heard you loud and clear! Factory levels, more factory levels...

Experimental levels

... or maybe it was experimental levels? To be honest, who hates those hard challenges (the spawn of our graphic designer imagination)? More of them! Release the hard puzzles on people!!!!!

Better UI

We have updated many menus, buttons, and navigation elements to provide a clutter-free cooking environment.

Bug Fixes and Performance Optimization

We've tackled pesky bugs and fine-tuned the game's performance for a more enjoyable cooking journey.

Proper credits

We have updated the credits to include all the wonderful people who made it possible for LCT2 be created.

Dish after dish

This Let's Cook Together 2 demo update brings an even faster pace to the table. In Factory levels, you'll get pressure cooked, Kitchen Nightmares style, racing against one clock for all orders. Feeling Them Bombs vibes? You're not far off. In addition, some Frankenstein Experimental Levels have been added to the game. Face the weird and unconventional kitchen creatures we've created in our Level Editor lab – and try to survive. More exciting Let's Cook Together 2 info is coming soon, so stay tuned. Arrivederci, Italy!

With this update, we're bringing you Poland. Those of you who follow our Twitch streams could've seen it coming. Poland - our homeland - will be the first country you'll visit in Let's Cook Together 2, and is now the only country you'll visit in the demo.

This changes a lot

If you thought we simply swapped the map asset, think again. Poland is not only an entirely new country – it's a totally different experience. You can now enjoy:

• Singleplayer mode. That's right, even though Let's Cook Together 2 is still a co-op game at its heart, it's also super inclusive!
• Polish – the first language to join Let's Cook Together 2's multilingual world.
• New recipes (100% POLISH CERTIFIED), upgrades and characters.
• A flurry of fast-paced levels.
• Fresh Battle arenas.
• Updated game mechanics and visual effects.
• Story-driven backgrounds (it's a thing, trust us).
• ...and a mysterious Level Editor option, whaaaa?

You'll immediately taste the difference. And if it's is your first time playing, then well – welcome to Poland! Can't wait for you to max this one out.

Streamer Mode enabled

With this update, Streamer Mode makes its debut. Enable it in settings to let your viewers vote for all the Chaos effects one after another. Warning, though – when you're at the mercy of your chat, things can get really, REALLY messy (which we learned the hard way.)

Is that a black hole?

{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42127725/47b2e401c5c0017fef791e4a866c18482f534c5c.gif We've also introduced 3 new Chaos effects - Black Hole, Billiards, and Forgotten Orders. If these don't sound self-explanatory enough, you should give them a go. Especially since they can now be enabled in Battle Mode as well.

And yes, they're all available now in the demo – so start cooking now!

Enter the Chaos

Update 0.4 brings the intense, unpredictable, and long-awaited Chaos Mode to Let's Cook Together 2! From inverted controls and spontaneous teleportation to invisibility and strobe lights, try to survive as the kitchens you thought you knew suddenly turn into crazy, mind-boggling traps.

Raise your hand

With Chaos Mode, the "Gimme!" mechanic makes an introduction as well. Use it for signaling your position to other players. Just make sure you can catch whatever's coming your way. Also in the update: - More intuitive tutorial; - New teleportation effects; - Better Prodigy controls; and more! Can't wait for your feedback on this one. Good luck!

Full changelog:

• New game mode: Chaos Mode. Look for levels with antenna on the map and get a gold medal in them to unlock Chaos Mode.
• Added the "Gimme!" move - press B to notify other players where your character is on the screen (very useful in 3-4 player game)
• Added the New Stuff system - the camera now zooms in on new appliances and ingredients and shows a short description. This should make the starting experience even more intuitive.
• Added the New Content Popup – when entering the map the game now sometime shows a popup with newly-unlocked content (new chefs, new upgrades, new game modes, etc.)
• Upgraded the project to the newest version of Unity which gave us new possibilities (but also introduced new bugs to deal with)
• Much nicer chef teleportation effect (we created a custom shader for that and this alone required the Unity upgrade)
• Much nicer wall transparency effect (which we are very proud of as getting this kind of things set up in a 2D game is not an easy task)
• Retweaked the chef => appliances detection system - it should now guess the players intentions much better
• Chefs look much better on the chef selection screen (custom graphics for each character by Johan)
• Cleaning stains now has it's own small UI to show the progress o cleaning
• Added a "Resume" button in the Pause Menu
• Added a "Change Chefs" button in the Pause Menu - its a shortcut to use if you want to change chefs or add new players quickly
• Added a few new sound effects
• Restored the fire effect on the stove (apparently it was broken in the project for the past 6 months)
• Better progress UI colors - it should now be more clear when an appliance has finished its work
• Moving around the map should now be more intuitive (many small but important changes there)
• Added a Pause Menu on the map
• You can now set the vibration strength in the settings or switch them off completely
• The upgrades shop will now show only the appliances that you know and their order is more intuitive
• The upgrades shop will now work properly on wide-screens
• Many small optimizations for the Level Editor

Lot's of new features and bug fixes!

Last two months we have been preparing our game for Gamescom 2022. All the features have now also landed into the Steam Demo as well: - music (finally!) - save slots in adventure mode (please note: your old saves will not work and the progress needed to be reset - sorry about that) - difficulty optimisation - country selection screen - many, many other minor features and bug fixes If you are at Gamescom 2022 be sure to visit our booth in hall 10.2 (next to the K10 pillar).

This is intense

{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/42127725/5f1d4e8c83667e879ebaaa6b669bd0d9893937eb.png You can't always cooperate, can you? For those of you who like to spice things up, we've just the (in)famous Battle mode. And it's beyond intense! Play against each other (1v1 or 2v2) in 3 Battle types:

• Economy – the player (or team) to earn the most coins wins. Watch out for combos!
• Race – beat one another to serve all the dishes.
• Tiebreak – a possibly endless mode in which you need to be 2 orders ahead of your opponent to win.

And the best thing? It's all included in the free demo – along the many Adventure and Experimental Levels. Check out us testing Battle mode out on Twitch last evening -- and have fun yourselves!

Here's the biggest Let's Cook Together 2 glow-up yet

Let's Cook Together 2 is now denser and more content-rich than ever before. With the Next Fest demo update, we're introducing a set of brand new Experimental Levels created in our Level Editor. And boy are they fresh. We stuffed them with brand new mechanics we've been working on for the past few months, including:

• Conveyors
• Boosters
• Teleports
• Cold room
• New wall types – and more!

Needless to say, they're total game-changers. Hi Beta Chefs, we cooked you an update!

After receiving tremendous amount of spot-on feedback on our Discord server (shout out, guys!), we introduced a handful of new features and tweaks to Let's Cook Together 2. Here's a rundown:

Don't get burned!

New burn mechanic puts some pressure on the serving side of gameplay. No more strolling around with hot meals – because now they're HOT, for real. So don't get too attached or they'll bite burn. See how it works:

Through the wall

It's now easier to see which walls are blocking your food's path when serving/throwing. We're still tweaking the wall system, and with this change, we made things a bit more intuitive.

Other notable changes

We have also:

• Made a few mechanics less challenging across all difficulty levels,
• By popular demand - Introduced custom key bindings for those of you playing on keyboard,
• Added resolution selection,
• Added juicer sound effects.

Battle mode

One of the most beloved features of Let's Cook Together, Battle mode is making a return in Let's Cook Together 2. Beat anybody you play against at the game of cooking food as fast and as smartly as possible. Whoever serves the most dishes, wins!

More levels and mechanics

The map grows bigger and denser each day, so expect to race time in dozens of new levels before the game leaves the beta! We're talking about new kitchen layouts, new appliances, upgrades, and different character perks and cooking mechanics.

Comfy interior for the spaceship

In Let's Cook Together 2, you travel the world onboard the Prodigy spaceship. Remnant of a distant past, it's your team's hub, playground, HQ, main menu, cafeteria, and the only safe means of transportation. So of course it has to be cool and chill and comfy. Once the interior is all done and decorated, you'll love to hang out in there!
