Hello Survivors!
With Update 4 now out, it has been a blast seeing you all fight in the endless leaderboards, going beyond what we thought the limit was. Thank you to everyone who has jumped in, shared feedback, and left a review. We are closing in on 200 reviews. If you haven't already, please share your thoughts in a review; every single one makes a difference!
In our last roadmap, we gave a sneak peek of what was to come for Update 5, along with a time estimate for its release.
We have changed our plans a bit since then, and we now want to add more content than what was originally planned. That means work on this update will take a bit longer than we initially estimated. That said, the content we are working on will be worth the wait.
While we are not ready to reveal everything just yet, here is a glance at what is coming:
New Endless Difficulty: A more accessible Endless mode option for players who want to survive longer, experiment with builds, and enjoy the chaos.
New Achievements
And much more....
The two new tracks from Update 4 are now live on YouTube, composed by the amazing Cartridge1987: You can also listen to the full soundtrack playlist here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PPZaAQ-MdI&list=PLxhA-H18Gx-3LKkQPjWTaTvDfK024fTOk

We’re excited to introduce Update 4, our biggest patch yet, packed with new features and improvements we can’t wait for you to experience. Alongside a wide range of bug fixes and refinements, this update lays the groundwork for future content additions. Here's what we got:
Survive as long as you can against relentless, never-ending waves of enemies. Designed as the ultimate challenge for veteran players, this mode will push your skill, builds, and endurance to the limit.
Endless Mode was developed and balanced around a fully unlocked armory, so make sure you are fully equipped before diving in!
Unlock Requirement: Survive the final level on Normal Difficulty to unlock Endless on all levels.
Exclusive to Endless Mode, the Online Leaderboard lets you compete against survivors worldwide, challenge your friends, and track your personal best escape times. Can you make it to the top?
You already know the Frenzy Towers, giving a temporary boost to player stats when active.
But from now on, you can also discover Mutation Towers in your runs. To activate them, stand in the circle like you would for a Frenzy Tower and you will be able to choose one of 3 buffs. There are more than a dozen unique buffs available, each designed to give you the edge you need to keep fighting through the horde.
Note that the Mutation Towers have a higher chance to spawn in Endless Mode compared to the other modes.
Weapon prototypes can now be upgraded beyond their original safety limits. Push them further than ever before to deal devastating damage and gain the power you need to survive the onslaught.
In order to access this feature, you must raise all 5 of your weapons to the Prototype mode in a run. This has to be achieved every time you want to raise your weapons beyond level 9.
Across all game modes, we’re introducing the Tech Kit. Purchase supplies before starting a run, and use them whenever you want to get out of a tough spot!
Use it wisely, the right supply at the right moment can secure a win, but a poorly timed decision might cost you the run.
Unlock Requirement: Survive the final level on Normal Difficulty to unlock the Tech Kit and Supplies menu in the Armory.
To give you more control over your builds, we're introducing the Weapon Banish System.
Purchase Weapon Banish Chips in the Armory and use them on the level-up screen to remove unwanted weapons from your reward pool for the rest of the run. Each time you banish a weapon, the chip cost increases in this run, so choose wisely and shape your loadout with intention.
We have added two new tracks: "Final Rush" now plays during regular gameplay, bringing extra intensity to your runs, and a brand new theme plays during the fight against the Colossal Alien in the Alien Nest, making the final battle feel even more epic.
Defense bonus in Power Save mode buffed from 25 to 50

Alongside a wide range of bug fixes and improvements, here’s what Update 3 brings to the game:
Freshly assembled and not yet battle-tested, this mech comes equipped with 800 base HP and a unique dual-mode system. By pressing the ability button, you can switch between two operational states, allowing the mech to adapt to changing combat situations.
In order to unlock it you must: Clear the Space Station at least once, then follow the SOS signal in that level and complete the activation process
The default configuration, designed for stability and survivability. While active, the mech gains 25 additional Defense, making it better suited for holding ground and enduring sustained fights.
Overclock Mode will grant you more fighting power at the cost of increased vulnerability to enemy attacks. You'll deal more Damage, move faster and weapons will have reduced Cooldown. But your Defense stat will also be reduced to 0, leaving you very vulnerable.
Activation requires full ability bar and lasts 10 seconds.
You can cancel this mode before the 10 seconds are over. Every time you switch back to Power Save mode, the Mech will discharge accumulated energy, which will push enemies away from you.
All 4 maps now have a new environment tile. You can now randomly find these special energy syphon stations, which will always have XP Cube Attractor at it's center. Finding them means you can attract all XP Cubes that you left behind in the level.
New texts from this update are only available in English for now. Localization for Update 3 is still in progress and will be added in a follow-up patch
Autogun
Increased damage at higher levels
Orbital Strike
Increased damage
Slightly reduced cooldown time
Electric Grenade
Reduced damage (still very high)
Flamethrower
Faster spin speed at higher levels
Volt Discharge

Reduced HP of some enemy waves in all 4 levels
Reduced HP of Magma Crater Boss
Reduced Defense of Magma Crater Boss when she is protected by bugs
Reduced HP of Burrowers enemies
Burrowers enemies now burst out of the ground a bit further from the player, making them easier to fight
VFX
Toned down the intensity of Orbital Strike VFX. Beams are now slimmer, and the light brightness was reduced, to help with visibility when playing
Space Station Hazard (Space Vacuum) is now more visible
Updated Rigged Crate explosion VFX to better match the damage radius
Changed color of Stasis Mine VFX at low levels (used to be red), because it could be confused with environment VFX
Misc.
Added option to disable Enemies Outlines in the settings
Adjusted collisions in Space Station and Alien Nest
Adjusted tiles spawn rate, some special tiles were spawning too rarely
Changed color of Special Tile to unlock Psychic so it stands out more

Hey Survivors! Let Them Come: Onslaught is officially featured in the Bullet Heaven 3.0 Festival running from December 4th to December 11th, 2025.
Hosted by our incredible partners Human Qube and Erabit, Welcome to the Bullet Heaven Festival, an explosive celebration of reverse bullet hell gaming. You'll be flooding the screen with your own arsenal in a storm of firepower that puts traditional bullet hell games to shame.
Unlike the Bullet Hell genre, known for testing players' skill and precision by requiring them to navigate through countless enemy projectiles, Bullet Heaven flips the script. Here, the barrage of bullets will be coming from YOU.
Bullet Heaven Fest is not only a celebration of the games we love, it is a push to finally give this growing genre a proper home on Steam. Players struggle to find these titles, developers get buried under the wrong categories, and the lack of an official tag holds the entire genre back.
Steam tags shape discovery, so we are joining hundreds of studios to support the call for an official Bullet Heaven tag. You can help by voting for the genre name you prefer and tagging your favorite games on Steam. It takes a few seconds, and your voice goes directly to Valve after the festival.
Brace yourself for a relentless roguelike alien assault in Let Them Come: Onslaught, where bullet heaven gameplay meets the gritty spirit of retro sci-fi classics, letting you craft the perfect build from an arsenal of over-the-top weapons and explosive upgrades to shred alien hordes in retro-fueled chaos.
If you want a survivors-like experience with an 80s sci-fi action vibe powered by a pulsing Cartridge 87 soundtrack, this is the one that sets itself apart.
Hello Survivors, Update 2 has arrived. This update brings a variety of new additions and changes that we hope will make your playthroughs balanced and even more fun. A huge thank you to everyone who has been playing, sharing feedback, and leaving reviews.
Alongside plenty of bug fixes and improvements, here's what Update 2 has in stock. Thanks for playing, and keep fighting the Onslaught!
Note:Localization for Update 2 is still in progress. It will be added in a follow up patch in the coming days.
We have added two new weapons, each designed to open up new strategies and combos. Their unlock conditions are included below as optional spoilers for players who want to discover them on their own.
A lance that stabs enemies at an extreme distance and prioritizes bosses. In order to unlock it you must:
Level up the Autogun to level 8 in a run.
Electric ball that bounces around the player, dragging everything back and forth! In order to unlock it you must:
Level up the Shotgun to level 8 in a run
You wanted a more serious challenge, and we heard you!
This update introduces a new difficulty mode "Onslaught" built to push the strongest survivors to the limits. Onslaught is balanced with fully upgraded Armory loadouts in mind, so be sure to upgrade your perks before jumping in!
Think you got what it takes here's how to unlock it:
Clear each level on Hard to unlock its Onslaught version
Good luck out there, you'll need it!
Weapon tuning is something we deeply care about, and your feedback plays a big role in refining it. With this update, we are happy with the overall difficulty curve of the game, none of the adjustments below are intended to make runs easier or harder. Instead, these balance tweaks focus on a few key situations where adjustments make the game fair and more fun to play.
Here are the main reasons why we might consider making weapon balance changes:
When a weapon is so strong that it becomes an obvious, mandatory pick
When a weapon feels too weak to justify choosing it
When a weapon can be used to completely remove risk from certain encounters
When two similar weapons with comparable design and risk level deliver drastically different damage output
We want to be clear about our goals, and we will continue to fine tune weapons over time with your help.
Blaster
Increased damage
Orbital strike
Increased damage
Increased radius of additional beams in prototype mode
Increased damage of additional beams in prototype mode
Repulse
Slight reduction to pushback strength
Increased cooldown
Electric Grenades
Slightly reduced damage, but overall output remains very high
Photon Saber
increased the attack cooldown to address the issue of the Photon Saber triggering too often when combined with cooldown perks, making it almost impossible to get hit
Increased range on the first two swings to compensate for the longer cooldown
Rocket Barrage
Increased damage
Increased burn effect damage
Laser Beam
Reduced prototype mode damage, but overall output remains very high
Photon Hammer
increased the attack cooldown to address the side swings triggering too often when combined with cooldown perks, making it almost impossible to get hit
Increased Hammer damage to compensate
Drone Strike
Increased cooldown
Reduced damage
Stasis Mine
Increased radius
Reduced cooldown
Reduced damage delay to enemies, the weapon now deals damage faster
Re-arranged level up effects so the "Black Hole" effect now appears at level 3 instead of 4

We're so proud of how Let Them Come: Onslaught looks and feels. We aimed to deliver a distinctive blend of 3D characters and environments with pixelation and other retro-inspired effects, and we believe we've achieved that. It's our way of paying homage to the classic sci-fi action games of yesteryear while still standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the amazing titles that are released today.
We drew on years of VFX experience and experimented with new systems in Unreal Engiine 5 to ensure every shot, explosion and battlefield looks as good as they feel. Thank you for your continued support. We’re excited to show you more of what Let Them Come: Onslaught has evolved into soon, and see you all on the Crash Site!
As we are approaching the release of the game (set for late 2025), we have been creating a series of promotional videos for Let Them Come: Onslaught! As part of these teaser videos, here are the weapon overviews for the Photon Saber, the Shotgun and the Electric grenades! You can watch a compilation of these three videos where we break down some tips and strategies for each weapon :
Starts with a single short swing, forcing you to close the gap on foes. Leveling up unlocks a second swing, a wide-area spinning attack, and a rear‑push short spin to keep enemies at bay. All animations and hit boxes are authored directly in Unreal Engine, ensuring frame‑perfect timing and collision.
Designed for precision pushback: only enemies struck by the blast are sent flying. Its shorter range is offset by strong damage and the unlockable double shot. It can cripple targets to slow their advance and trigger critical blasts for extra pushback, pairing exceptionally well with high‑damage, low‑pushback weapons like electric grenades or the flamethrower.
At level one, its random trajectory and small radius make it deceptively weak. Fully upgraded, it launches three high‑radius grenades in quick succession, turning it into a DPS powerhouse. It’s best used alongside weapons that offer strong pushback to prevent swarms of enemies from overrunning you.
Wishlist and stay tuned for deep dives and strategic tips as we continue to expand Let Them Come: Onslaught!
