Patch 1.1 introduces 12 completely new heroes to recruit, upgrade, and combine.
Each new hero brings their own abilities, passives, strengths, and party-building possibilities. Some expand existing strategies, while others can serve as the foundation for entirely new teams.
The addition of these heroes brings over 400 additional Ascension combinations.
There are now hundreds of additional upgraded heroes to discover, each with their own appearance, abilities, passives, and role within a party.
The Ascension system has always been one of the biggest parts of Legionbound, and this update expands it substantially. There are more combinations to experiment with, more unusual interactions to uncover, and many more ways to build a party.
Patch 1.1 adds 16 new items, giving you more options for shaping your builds and strengthening different kinds of parties.
The four additional XP granting items have been reworked to instead give bonus stats to the corresponding hero types, making them much more useful than before!
You can now save your party setups as loadouts, including disabled heroes and items!
Loadouts make it much easier to switch between strategies, return to a favorite team, or experiment with new combinations without having to rebuild everything manually.
As the number of heroes and possible party compositions continues to grow, this should make managing multiple teams much more convenient.
The underlying system for summoned units has been rebuilt and improved.
Summons now take up their own independent slots, which goes hand in hand with some of the new heroes that have been added, and creates a lot of interesting possibilities for the future!
Three new special status effects have been added:
Brittle
Wet
Oily
Each one is designed to interact with elemental damage, creating various powerful effects to impact your enemies. These makes combining different sets of heroes more impactful than before!
Players now have the capability of adding in their own heroes, with custom abilities! More details will be on the way with a later post, including a comprehensive guide to this process.
If you want more info right away, be sure to join the Discord!
Legionbound is now available in five additional languages:
Spanish
Brazilian Portuguese
German
Russian
French
Thank you to everyone who helped review translations, report issues, and improve the localized text!
Patch 1.1 also includes a wide range of interface and quality-of-life improvements:
Endless mode can now be unlocked by reaching Wave 100 in any Battle Mode map.
The roster menu has been completely revamped.
Ascended heroes can now be previewed before confirming an Ascension.
The shop now displays how many copies of each hero you own.
Additional Idle Mode options have been added.
Area-of-effect visuals now resize correctly.
A new stat called Aggro Score to help you judge the effectiveness of defensive heroes.
The DPS stat no longer tracks in real time, it correctly uses in game time.
Various menus, interfaces, and underlying systems have been cleaned up and improved.
Lastly, a big thanks to everyone who has played Legionbound, shared feedback, reported bugs, written reviews, created guides, or recommended the game to someone else.
The response since launch has been incredible, and many of the improvements in this update came directly from community suggestions and reports.
Patch 1.1 greatly expands the number of heroes, builds, and Ascension combinations available, while also making many parts of the game easier to manage.
We are excited to see what new parties and strategies everyone creates.
Legionbound Patch 1.1 is available now!
Hey everyone, the Legionbound Summer Sale is here!

\ A lot of people have responded, so I've removed the survey link for now. If you are really interested though, join the Discord and give me an ask, I'll try to get you added!
It has been just a bit past a month now since the release of Legionbound. Thank you everyone for reporting all the bugs and issues you have found. It seems that the big issues with the game have no been properly smoothed out now. With that done, I have been experimenting with some new content and new features to the game. (if you would like a sneak peak to some of these, join the discord!) I'm being much more careful now adding anything new so that it wont cause any major bugs or break things too terribly. I am hoping to have these done by the beginning of the steam summer sale. So stay tuned for that!
As well I wanted to mention that the game is being localized in a handful of new languages! These languages include:
Spanish (Latin American and Spain)

Super excited to be able to work on getting the game to new people that couldn't play it before. I am hoping to have these languages included before the summer sale as well.

Hello Legion! Before we get into the post, just wanted to say if you would like to support the game even more, consider leaving a review! It goes a long way and it helps people know what you think about the game.
Today makes it 1 whole week since Legionbound has released. In that time, the game has reached a high of 1500 concurrent players, nearly 400 members in the Discord, received 250 reviews, and has broken 30,000 units sold! I really don't know what to say, I can't thank you all enough. Its so incredible seeing so many people play and enjoy the game, and I will continue to work hard fixing bugs and any issues that come up. I have a lot of plans and ideas for future content, so stay tuned.
In that one week, lets take a look at some numbers.
Woah.
Today I've got a sizeable patch coming in. Thanks to the Discord community and everyone here in the Discussions forum I've have been able to find and fix many issues and added some much needed QoL features (with many more on the way). Please continue to let me know about any issues you might be having and I will get to them as quickly as I can.
Don't forget, there is an official Discord where you can join and share your experience with Legionbound. Ask questions, report bugs, and add your suggestions for what you would like to see in the game.
Right now we're looking at adding tons of new things like loadouts, customizable runs, new items, new heroes, and new even mod support. Its all a learning experience, this is the first real game I've ever made so I appreciate your support, feedback, and patience so much. Thank you all again for playing Legionbound!
This patch isn't too big and hopefully shouldn't affect any save files too dramatically. One interesting thing is that the way AoEs are handled has been changed to improve performance by a great deal, especially when it comes to keystones like Critical Blasts. If this or any other patch gives you issues, be sure to report them in the discussions or the discord server!
Improved performance by a good amount from excessive AoEs.
Amplified Spells skill now effects spells duration and affected area.
Heroes keep ultimate charge between Adventure maps.
Slightly increased difficulty scaling.
Slightly decreased enemy health scaling at high waves.
Adjusted Adventure mode costs and final battle balance.
Reduced hero price scaling in Adventure mode.
Duelist now targets enemies correctly, he doesn't get so focused on already dead ones.
Party members become a little smaller and a little transparent when moving a hero around.
Fixed Heroic Regeneration keystone also applying to enemies.
Fixed being able to bypass keystones.
Potentially fixed enemies getting glitchy and stuck/not spawning in correctly.
Get ready and gather your party, the Endbringer is here! Adventure awaits your brave legion.
30 heroes and synergy subclasses
Over 400 ascension classes to combine
Massive expanded skill tree
Unlockable Boss Rush and Idle Mode
Full battle and Adventure mode
I've had a lot of people asking about Adventure mode, and it's almost here! In less than a week Legionbound is launching, and Adventure mode will be a core feature to check out.
Unlike in Battle mode Adventure mode is a fresh start every time. Your skill tree doesn't come with you so you have to unlock skills, heroes, and gain items as you go.
You never know what skills or keystones will show up. Perhaps this run will be all about going physical damage? Maybe you've acquired two defensive keystones? Maybe this run is all economy, so you need to get as many shop refreshes as possible? The most unique part of Adventure mode is that you can stack extra Keystones and skills in ways you normally can't ever do!
There are 10 different buildings with different effects, and each one has unique heroes that become available for recruitment once built. To gain more available buildings, you'll need to gain them as rewards from battles! You can only have 5, but you can upgrade them to increase their benefits by a huge amount.
This guy has been killing parties left and right in Battle mode... But here, he's finally vulnerable! Once your party is strong enough, bring the fight to him and his minions and bring an End to the Endbringer!
There's a lot to discover and play with, both Adventure mode and Battle mode have a mountain of replayability. I'll be working constantly on balance and new exciting features even after 1.0 release. Join the Discord to keep up to date!
Legionbound launches April 27th.
The time is almost upon us! Legionbound is releasing on Monday April 27th 2026. I am so excited to get the game in everybody's hands, and am looking forward to improving it even more after release! Check out the release trailer below:
Greetings Legion!
Next Fest has been awesome, there's been 4000 new players to the demo! These numbers are crazy, and I'm happy for every single player that's given it a shot.
Tons of feedback has been shared and I've read and listened to all of it. I'm actively working to add improved UI elements, more player agency, and additional ways to customize your party's build as you play.
The demo won't be getting as many updates from here on out, the primary focus is getting the game ready for 1.0 release. With so many requests and suggestions, it makes me excited to keep working on the game post-release to give it some awesome free content updates. If there's something you'd like to see, be sure to share it!
I feel like some of the biggest complaints some people have about the pace of the game or the feeling of being overwhelmed with little choice will be mitigated greatly by the Adventure mode. I'll share more details in the coming weeks, but it's a much slower paced way to play the game, where each run can feel a lot more unique than playing the battle mode.
But now it's time for me to get to work! Only a couple months before release, and I'm dedicated to ensuring the full release of Legionbound is something to look forward to!
Greetings Legion!
The demo got a huge update this week, and more improvements are always coming. Here's a rundown of the exciting bits:
Ascension Heroes - Combine 2 of any Synergy heroes together, merging their stats and abilities into a completely unique class
Keystone Skills - Only 3 activatable at once, these skills can completely change how you build your party, For example, turning every attack from a Strength hero into an AoE attack!
Boss Idols - Bosses now drop unique Idol items. These powerful artifacts will have an upside and a downside, but can really change how a run shapes up.
Overhauled progression system
More skills
Reworked and rebalanced heroes
Far improved Party Selection screen
More info in the glossary
Detailed "Visual Clarity" menu with a variety of UI options
Short Scale numbers for readability
Hero disabling
Improved difficulty scaling
Gold rebalance
Expanded shop menu
3 more spells to play with
And more!
Next Fest is coming up really soon, Wishlist the game and Follow to stay keep up with any cool features that might get added. Thanks for all the support, looking forward to showing off more of the Adventure mode soon!
Hey everyone!
First off, thank you. The demo has now been played by 5,000+ people, and seeing the feedback and the insane playtime has been genuinely motivating.
I’m working on a big update that’s coming soon with a bunch of quality-of-life improvements and several of the most requested features. A few highlights:
Detailed visual clarity menu
Revamped progression system
Expanded shop options
Merging Synergy characters together!
If you’re enjoying the demo and haven’t wishlisted yet, please consider doing that. It helps a ton going into Next Fest.
Also, I just opened a Discord server and I’m looking for playtesters for the upcoming build. If you want to help shape balance, progression pacing, and catch bugs before they ship, come hang out:
Thanks again for playing, and seriously thanks for all the support so far.
I just wanted to pop in and say thanks. The response to the demo over the last week has been kind of unreal.
We’ve now passed 2,000 players on the demo, and seeing people spend real time with it, experiment with builds, and talk strategies has been incredibly motivating. A bunch of you have already put in way more hours than I ever expected at this stage.
I also want to give a huge thank you to SplattercatGaming for playing the game and sharing it. That video brought in a ton of new players, and I’m really grateful for the support from that community.
I’m continuing to polish and improve the demo based on feedback as we head toward full release. If you’re enjoying it, wishlisting and following the game helps a lot more than you might think!
Thanks again for playing and for all the encouragement so far. It genuinely means a lot.
