• Added a new feature that allows you to disable most tutorials when starting a new game.

• Added audio feedback when clicking on an invalid map.

• Added a sound effect for the Marmiadoise sword when equipping it.

• Fixed a bug that caused wolves to not always bleed when injured.

• Fixed a typo in the fast travel text: “Mathilda’s cavern” was misspelled.

Good day, fine folk of Steam. We come to you bearing an excellent gift today. We've release an update that will render combats considerably more fluid, thanks to reduced pauses and quickened animations, as well as a slew of other improvements. Read all the details here:

• Improved the speed to validate challenges twofold. Things will move a lot quicker during turns now.

• Accelerated animation speeds for combat by, on average, 15%. We find that makes combat considerably more fluid.

• Improved the audio scape for the Bisclavret and Tristan & Iseult adventures.

• Fixed an issue that allowed you to collect infinite inspiration points in Largess by discussing with Sterenn in the adventure of the Faes' Quarrel.

• Fixed a bug that allowed the horse indicator to appear during cinematics.

Hello everyone, we just published this week's changelogs containing the new mount indicator as well as several fixes.

• Added an indicator pointing to the selected knight's horse if he's not mounted, allowing you to find mounts during any situation.

• Fixed a crash that could occur if you attempted to mount a horse whilst passing through an interaction that triggers a 'drag-and-drop' tutorial.

• Improved the environmental FX in Great Battles.

• Improved the audio in the Bisclavret adventure.

• Added missing quotation marks in the solo quest of Sir Silence

• Corrected the description of the Medusa Helmet.

• Added a missing narration at the end of the Bisclavret adventure.

• Fixed a bug where young Arthur could sometimes teleport to a distant location after his father's fight in the London tournament.

• Adjusted destination points in the sacred grove during the Loathly Lady adventure to prevent clipping/sliding during certain animations.

• Fixed a bug where the quest to create the trap was still displayed as "possible" after failing the mission to return the sheep to the shepherd in the Bisclavret adventure.

• Added a sound effect when Emperor Lucius uses his helm's power.

• Fixed a bug where the incorrect challenge was displayed when taking on a targeted counter-charge challenge on a mount.

• Fixed a bug where Sir Meliant de Lys' scabbard could remain frozen when he fell from his horse during the London Tournament.

• Fixed a bug where the lance-breaking scroll appeared when choosing a Grail card, even if the outcome was unknown.

• Added a reminder in the tutorial that the NPCs share a deck of cards exactly like the player's during opposed challenges.

• Fixed a bug where the game could create a large temporary file on the disk.

• Fixed a bug in Silence's solo quest where the game could hang/freeze when failing to convince the woman on the riverbank to give up the secret of Silence's prison.

Hello, folks. We have a small update with a several QoL improvements for you. As always, we're thankful for those taking the time to report issues and make suggestions. We're listening and eager to further improve Legends of the Round Table:

• Fixed a bug that caused the song from the prologue of The Faeries' Quarrel adventure to start too early and not stop if you chose to skip the cutscene.

• You can now view the inventory of the squire for the knights to be recruited at the Round Table.

• Corrected the description of the Spear of Hainaut in English to specify that it grants a +1 damage bonus.

• Fixed the combat area against the guards attacking Thibaut the Woodcutter to ensure that the hexes are aligned with the ground.

Our small team continues to be inspired by your tales of valor and your diligent reporting of bugs. This update focuses on expanding your travel options, refining the rules of inheritance, and ensuring that our cast of characters, including the more "fragile" ones, behave as they should. We have also addressed several technical crashes to ensure your quest remains uninterrupted :)

Gameplay & Rules

• Fast Travel Implemented: A new feature to allow swifter movement across adventures.

• Inheritance of Valor: Added a new gameplay mechanic: when a knight perishes, their special items will now be bequeathed to their oldest friend.

• Horse Gallop Consistency: Standardized the speed of horses at a gallop when traversing flat terrain.

• Fixed a bug where players could no longer use the "Run" action while mounted if the rider had a major leg wound (your horse's legs are fine, after all).

• Fixed a crash that could occur when attempting a spell resistance challenge with a margin of exactly 7.

• Fixed a crash that occurred if a player killed an opponent's horse during the London Tournament and the owner subsequently requested mercy.

• Fixed a crash triggered by summoning Korrigans while mounted.

• Fixed an issue that stopped players from interacting with mercenaries in The Loathly Lady adventure, after having bribed them.

• Fixed a crash that could occur with certain conditions when being decapitated by the Green Knight.

Quests & Narrative

• In The Loathly Lady adventure, it is now possible to marry the captive knight to Dame Ragnelle.

• Fixed a bug where Thibaut the Woodcutter would fail to appear in his home if the player visited after his workday had ended.

• Restored two missing English text strings in the Vale of No Return adventure.

• Corrected the french text in the epilogue of the Vale of No Return.

Technical & UI Improvements

• UI Refinement: The Location Wheel is now hidden when playing a Grail.

• Added a question mark to the margin indicator for better clarity.

• Updated the Horse Fatigue tooltip to clarify that mounts also gain fatigue when using the "Run" action.

• Fixed an issue where the horse inspection UI would not automatically update when a mount's fatigue penalty changed.

• Increased the interactive zone for changing lanes at the foot of the mount leading to the Abbey in the Fays' Quarrel adventure.

• Fixed a crash that could occur if a player returned to the main menu during the deployment phase of certain battles.

• Corrected the group formation positioning when exiting the aviary and the kitchen in The Green Knight adventure.

• Fixed an issue that allowed knights to mount their horse even if they had a bow equipped.

Visuals & Audio

• Added a new illumination to illustrate melee challenges during solo quests.

• Corrected an issue where Arthur the Leper's eyes could... pop out of their sockets during certain cinematics. We've tucked them back in.

• Improved the audio mixing for the Bisclavret adventure.

• Polished the sound design for several cinematics in The Green Knight and The Loathly Lady adventures.

• Implemented a general fix to prevent "state" sound effects from playing over cinematic sequences.

• Fixed a bug where the mercy animation would not play if the combatant was holding a spear or a bow.

• Fixed an issue that caused rain to appear inside buildings during the Bisclavret adventure.

• Corrected the positions of particle effects on the Marmiadoise sword's spell.

Hello folks, A small update including a frequently requested feature for restarting Great Battles without losing progress! Enjoy your week-end.

Gameplay & Rules

• Added a new "Restart Battle" feature which allows you to return to the latest Round Table during a great battle.

• Unconscious knights' light wounds will now be healed in an amount sufficient to regain consciousness when returning to the Round Table. If that's not sufficient to regain consciousness, the game will begin removing major wounds.

Quests & Narrative

• Mayeul the poacher now gives more hints towards the Bisclavret bait being multiple elements.

Technical & UI Improvements

• Fixed an issue where a knight getting knocked out by the obsidian stone challenge would get back up in the next cinematic.

• Fixed an issue that stopped Ghislain from becoming destabilized.

• Stopped the camera in Great Battles from being pannable when the game is paused.

• Fixed an issue that could cause music not to start during the Round Table.

• Tweaked the incantation SFX of the Frozen Hag.

• Tweaked multiple SFX for dragons.

• Improved the mixing of multiple songs in The Bisclavret adventure.

• Fixed an issue where the damsels would not respond to clicks in The Vale of No Return.

• Added a failsafe to correctly update a character's lane when they are teleported outside of the current lane.

• Implemented a movement failsafe to ensure horses and leaders automatically align with the nearest navmesh lane.

• Fixed a bug in the duel against Gontran and Sébert where, under certain circumstances, the wrong knight would fight after an initiative challenge.

• Fixed a bug in The Fays' Quarrel adventure where St. John's wort could be picked from a different lane, which could cause progression issues.

• Tristan is now correctly granted the sword in all intended scenarios.

• Fixed a sequence break in Tristan and Iseult where failing the physical resistance challenge in the chapel caused the game to skip directly to the epilogue while narration was still playing.

• Fixed the death animation against Gromer that previously paralyzed the knight.

• Fixed a bug where the epilogue failed to trigger after being defeated by the wolves at the sheep rock.

• Corrected a text cutoff issue in the English narration before the fight against Morgane.

It's been a busy day today, going through all the comments, streams, e-mails and all your amazing feedback. Earlier this morning, we released a hotfix to correct a freeze that was affecting multiple players, but we haven't stopped working since then and we just released an update:

• Fixed certain instances where narration was missing.

• Made a narration play a little earlier in the Fae's Quarrel adventure.

• Adjusted the navmesh around the stone outcrop in the Fae's Quarrel adventure to stop instances of knights pathfinding behind the decor.

• Resolved instances where certain endings' epilogues were playing the wrong mood of music (most adventures have varied endings. Less joyous ones should sound different from happy ones!)

• Resolved missing audio in one of the Green Knight's cinematics.

• Fixed a UI bug in the grimoire where available spell combinations wouldn't update after preparing a spell.

• Fixed a bug where indirect bow shots on elephants in Autun would not trigger an animation on the target.

• Fixed various audio queues in the elephants' animations.

• Fixed an issue where the cinematic after the fight against Gromer wouldn't trigger.

• Fixed a sound issue with the Hags' scream.

• Updated the manual to fix a mistake in the description of the Swift special rule.

Dear friends,

We’re incredibly excited to finally have a release date for Legends of the Round Table (for realsies this time!) and as the subject spoiled so well, it’s right around the corner!

I asked our founder, Yan, for a very small anecdote about what inspired the idea for Legends of the Round Table over 8 years ago, went to grab a coffee and came back to a 6 pages long Zoom message about all the things, starting with his teenage, that lead to his immense passion for Arthurian and all things Medieval. That passion is a direct reflection of Yan, the game’s creative director and frankly, the entire team that lovingly crafted Legends of the Round Table.

Instead of transcribing all of that here, I’ll begrudgingly summarise it with: Arthurian media (Pendragon, Excalibur by Boorman, his mother’s gift of a 1000 pages book on Arthurian mythos) and later on the ideals of chivalry as well as a fascination in the relation we can discover between true History and fabulation—never knowing which part of a legend could be true!
