• Long Arm of the Law: Increase weapon range and damage

• FAST-PACED ACTION. Have you got skills to pay the bills? (Or at least get you to your next paycheck?) Put them to the test in singleplayer or multiplayer co-op in this quick and chaotic, aim-based bullet hell shooter where survival depends on besting a murderous office environment.
• SIT HAPPENS. With 12 available options, you might struggle to find your favourite Office Chair or Weapon - from the slicing and dicing Katana to shredding Minigun, customise your loadout to suit your playstyle before each session and climb your way to the top.
• DECEPTIVELY DEEP. Get your thinking cap on and choose your Power Ups wisely. With each draft, you get to stack progressively more powerful options and combos, from the annoying Hackerman pop-ups to the destructive Slam Dunk ability.
• OFFICE ANARCHY. Unleash ‌corporate chaos in two distinct game modes. Fight side by side with up to 4 colleagues against a wave of sentient office appliances in the PvE co-op mode, or battle it out “royale-style” in a PvP arena mode where losers get more powerful each round!

• Fixed issue where players would be vulnerable during upgrade screens if a player was also in the Vending Machine screen
• Fixed issue where you would sometimes crash when returning to lobby or main menu from the pause menu

It’s almost time for our PvP Open Beta Weekend, employees!   We hope you’ve been practicing your aim and loading up on caffeine.  

The Open Beta will launch on 22nd January at 15:00 CET and run until Monday 26th January at 15:00 CET, giving you some time to work out any internal conflicts, corporate grievances etc. 

PvP games will consist of our “Free For All” Mode in which 2- 4 players and will run until someone has won 5 rounds. In each round the losers will be able to select an upgrade, meaning the winner will have to defend their skills. After 5 rounds, The Last Man Sitting will be declared! 

You’ll be able to start games in a few ways: 

• For Quick Play, interact with the computer and press Quick Play to find other people to play with. 

• For Private Lobby, flick the radio button to Private Lobby and join/invite friends via the Steam Friends & Chat interface.  

• For Public Lobby, flick the radio button to Public Lobby to let others find you. 

• Select your loadout at the yellow vending machine 

• Ready up at the elevator 

As for new content in addition to everything from the latest Beta for you all to test, we’ve added : 

A NEW PICK UP 

A NEW GUN 

And three new maps for you to roll around in: 

• Human Resources 

• High Horse 

• Organize 

Oh, and on top of that, you’ll be able to see some PvP action a little earlier on Twitch with some of our creator friends who will be live on Wednesday 21st January, going head-to-head (or chair to chair) with one another for your eyeball’s entertainment.

Employees! We’ve got some super exciting news for you all. As some of you may have just seen in the NewGame+ Showcase, we’re launching our PvP Open Beta Weekend on Thursday 22 January, so you can all take part in some active and highly motivating conflict resolution. If you’re reading this and you’re a content creator, you’ll be thrilled to know we’re also giving some select creators access 24 hours early on Wednesday 21 January to try out our new PvP mode and share with your audiences. If this sounds like your thing, please do contact us at [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can! How will PvP work, you ask? Well, good thing we’re here to tell you! Our PvP mode is called Free For All, or FFA for short. In FFA, 2-4 players will fight short rounds to be, ahem, the Last Man Sitting (roll credits!). Here is the twist: Each round is fought until only one player remains. Each losing player then gets to choose from a random selection of 5 permanent upgrades, becoming stronger and customizing their lineup while the winner gets nothing but pure bliss and honour. The player who is the first to 5 wins, is the overall winner!

What can I expect help test in this Public Beta? In the previous Open Beta you got to try out the minigun and katana. This time around we are also adding the long gun to the lineup which enables a host of new power-ups to be chosen. In addition to this slick new gun, we are also adding the Hackerman chair ability alongside the Kick Flip and Slam Dunk. Prepare to be quite literally spammed with popups by your opponent. AND to round things up we are enabling three new maps: Human Resources, Organize and High Horse in addition to Cafeteria, Freedom and Oasis!

How do I join the Public Beta? Once it goes live on the 22nd of January, a button on the Last Man Sitting store page will appear for you to join the beta! (Check out our social channels for updates on times!)
