A new Crusher machine has been added.
It is used to process certain resources into powder and will play an important futur role in the new crafting progression.
The Jetpack is now available.
Use it to reach elevated areas, move more freely through difficult terrain, and make cave exploration easier. Keep an eye on its remaining fuel while flying.
The Sleeping Bag has been added.
It provides players with a new portable resting and respawn option during exploration.
A new mineral and several related crafting materials have been introduced:
Graphite Ore
Graphite Powder
Refined Graphite
Graphite Rod
Refined Oxerite
Oxerite Core
Plant Fiber
These new materials will be used in advanced machines, equipment, and future progression systems.
New sound effects have been added when the player:
Eats food
Drinks water
These actions should now feel more responsive and immersive.
The user interface has been almost completely redesigned.
Menus and machine interfaces are now clearer, more consistent, and easier to navigate. This is a major first step toward improving the overall readability and visual quality of the game. Thank you to everyone for continuing to support Last Breath, and to ChrisChros and everyone else who shares ideas, reports bugs, and sends me feedback. More improvements, fixes, and new features are already in the works.
Added Rainwater Collectors: Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3.
Added new "tutorial" quests for newly created worlds.
Empty water bottles and plastic baskets can now be smelted in the furnace to obtain plastic.
You can now switch hotbar items using the mouse wheel.
Added a quick item transfer feature: hold Ctrl + Click and hover over items to transfer them faster.
Added the player’s current depth to the HUD.
Graves and their contents are now saved.
Improved the inventory crafting UI to make crafting clearer and easier to use.
You can now close chest and machine menus by pressing Escape.
Stackable items can now merge with an existing matching stack even if there is no empty inventory slot available. The same behavior now works correctly with split stacks.
Slightly adjusted the depth at which different minerals can be found.
Slightly reduced the crafting cost of all building parts.
Adjusted the drop rate of Plastic Scraps when digging.

Fixed an issue where climbing down a long ladder could sometimes cause fatal fall damage when reaching the ground.
Fixed quests related to smelting ingots in furnaces.
Fixed several other minor issues.
Improved reliability of world and terrain synchronization.
Multiplayer saves are now separated correctly, even when a world is deleted and recreated with the same name.
Fixed terrain holes sometimes not loading correctly for clients.
Improved physics synchronization for rocks, ores, wood, cardboard, and other world objects.
Fixed various multiplayer bugs and errors.
The game now attempts to automatically restore a backup if a save becomes corrupted.
Empty or incomplete saves can no longer overwrite a valid save.
Fixed placed chests disappearing.
Fixed a bug where the inventory could disappear after death or respawning.
Corpses can now be searched for loot.
Graves can now store the player’s full inventory and hotbar.
If a grave cannot be created correctly, the player will respawn with their full inventory instead.
The Mallet edit mode now works with structures and other placeable objects.
Destroying placed structures, objects, and machines with the Mallet now refunds 50% of their crafting materials.
Fixed the wooden door no longer being placeable.
Fixed wall doors being able to overlap with other walls.
Fixed Tier 2 and Tier 3 Polluters not starting or consuming fuel.
Corrected the maximum electricity capacity for every Polluter tier.
Fixed Polluter electricity bars using an incorrect maximum capacity.
Corrected electricity capacities across all Furnace tiers.
Added safeguards to prevent Polluter and Furnace electricity capacities from being lower than their required cycle costs.
Plastic Scrap and Baskets now stack.
Rain sound is now attenuated underground.
Safe zones are now correctly detected after teleportation.
Fixed an issue where oxygen could remain stuck at zero after using the “Stuck?” button.
I haven’t been able to test every single situation from start to finish, so some issues may still remain.

Shift + Click to quickly move ingredients from the crafting table to the inventory, and vice versa.
Crop plots are now automatically watered while it is raining.
Deep cave walls are no longer affected by the wet ground shader.
Rain no longer reaches the player inside deep caves.
Placeable objects such as chests, furnaces, and similar items can now be placed inside domes.
Improved placement of placeable objects on uneven terrain.
Collected stackable items now automatically join an existing matching stack in the hotbar before being added to the inventory.
Improved quest save compatibility, allowing new quests to be added to existing saves.
Updated the Tier 2 Furnace crafting cost from 16 Iron Ingots and 4 Aluminum Ingots to 14 Iron Ingots and 6 Copper Ingots.
Tree trunks now yield more wood: increased from 3 to 4, with a chance to receive additional wood.
Fixed a lobby invitation issue.
Fixed an issue that could prevent building parts from being placed after a player joined or left the game.
Trees should no longer grow through structures.
Added several new quests.
Added a small amount of iron ore and Oxerite on the surface.
Added several chests, cardboard boxes, and various hidden resources throughout the world.
Tier 2 furnaces can now smelt aluminum.
You can now rotate placeable objects and building parts with the mouse wheel before placing them, with a new on-screen hint showing the control.
Fixed a bug where joining a game from the lobby could leave the screen black while the HUD remained visible.

Fixed a bug where the game would freeze when placing a building structure for the first time. Now grass can no longer grow underneath it.
Fixed an issue where items in the workbench could disappear if you quit the game.

Fixed a save/load issue where dropped cardboard boxes could respawn as the item inside them instead of the box itself.
Fixed the chest UI and cursor state after closing the pause menu.
Fixed an issue where the hi-fi stereo system could not be connected.
Fixed wall torches being placed in the wrong direction.
Fixed a bug where moving a placeable object back to the inventory could leave the placement ghost visible.
Fixed an issue where floor could be placed on top of each other.
Added the first version of the in-game map.
Added food that can be found underground when digging, with a small chance to also find some on the surface.
Food can now restore health over time, and the effect can stack.
Staying inside the starting bunker now restores a small amount of oxygen. The entrance hatch must be closed for this to work.
Reduced the crafting cost of most Tier 1 and Tier 2 tools.
Reduced the crafting time of all crafts.
Increased the durability of all tools.
Player oxygen now decreases more slowly.
Toxic rains are shorter, but happen a bit more often.
Meteor showers are less frequent, and the impact radius has been increased.
Fixed hole synchronization when a player joins an already running game.
Fixed a bug where holes could overlap between two worlds.
Ladders should now work correctly.

Slightly increased the amount of stone and wood that can be found on the ground.
Added a death marker, making it easier to find the place where you died and recover your items.

Added a warning icon that appears 10 seconds before incoming meteor showers.
Fixed a UI anchor issue that could cause the Start Game button to be hidden on some screen resolutions.
