Hey jumpers! Change of plans — and for once, a good one. We told you the demo would be playable on June 15 at Steam Next Fest. We couldn't wait. The KOOO TO JUMP! Free Demo is playable right now. Go scream a chicken off a cliff.
The demo page got its wishlist button on June 1. Today it gets the button that actually matters: the Install one. No countdown, no waitlist, no "soon" — just download it and start losing your dignity. Completely free. The platformer where your dignity dies before your character does — now actually in your hands.
Dropping early doesn't mean we're skipping the party. On Monday June 15 at 8:00 PM GMT+3, when Steam Next Fest opens, KOOO TO JUMP! takes its spot in the showcase — the same free demo, front and center, for the whole Next Fest week. Play now and you're early. Wait for the Fest and you're fashionably late. Either way, the coop's open.
A trial-size slice of the full game — designed to fall in love with, fall on your face in, and decide whether your neighbors deserve what's coming next:
19 camera zones of pure pain — a hand-crafted opening slice of the full game's interconnected, foddian-style map. No traditional levels — just one continuous climb.
Voice control with the 5-level "KOOOOO" sustained charge — you don't need to scream louder, just longer. Belt one out, ride it through 5 distinct jump strength levels, and pray.
Gamepad support — the same brutally precise platforming, minus the barnyard vocals. Switch between dignity and absolute shamelessness at will.
Practice Mode with strategically-placed checkpoints through all 19 zones, so you can learn the layout before attempting a clean run.
Two clicks change everything for a small studio: wishlist the full game, and — if the demo gets you — drop us your honest first reaction. Wishlist momentum is what Steam's algorithm watches hardest going into Next Fest, so one click genuinely helps the coop. Then come squawk with us — join our Discord server for build feedback, behind-the-scenes peeks, and all the Next Fest live moments.
The full game has all 60 camera zones, 27 deranged achievements, and the global leaderboards where the world finds out who the real chicken is.
The plan changed. The demo's out. Go jump. See you in the coop. 🐔

Yes, you can crow at a handheld in public. KOOO TO JUMP runs on Steam Deck today — through both Valve's Proton layer and a dedicated native Linux build. Valve hasn't put it through their official Steam Deck review yet, so it still shows as Unknown — but in our own hands-on testing it plays great. Here's exactly what to expect before you start losing your dignity on the bus.
KOOO TO JUMP has two control schemes, and both work on the Deck:
Voice + gamepad (the real way). Steer with the Deck's stick and buttons while you charge your jump by sustaining a continuous "KOOOOO" into the Deck's built-in microphone. No headset, no extra hardware — the Deck's mic picks up your rooster impression out of the box. The longer you hold the note, the higher you launch.
Full gamepad (the dignified way). Prefer silence on public transport? A pure controller mode maps both direction and jump to the Deck's inputs — same brutal precision, zero barnyard noise.
Official rating: not yet reviewed. Valve hasn't run KOOO TO JUMP through their Steam Deck review, so it shows as Unknown for now. In our own hands-on testing, it runs and plays on Deck right now.
Two paths to your Deck. Ships as a Windows build that runs through Proton, plus a native Linux build cross-compiled for the Deck.
Built for the small screen. UI is scaled and safe-framed for the Deck's 1280×800 display.
Cutscenes included. Intro and win-screen videos use the Bink codec, so they play correctly under Proton and Linux — no silent black screens.
We're aiming for an official Steam Deck Verified rating across the playtest and launch cycle — chasing input-mapping, UI-scaling, and audio edge cases. Once Valve reviews the game, we'll update this post. If you play on a Deck and hit something that doesn't happen on desktop Windows, tell us: the Steam forum and our Discord server are both watched, and Deck-specific reports jump the queue.
Now go embarrass yourself at 800p. 🐔

Hey jumpers! As of today, public playtest signups for KOOO TO JUMP! are officially closed. Over 500 of you downloaded the build and started screaming at your monitors — and honestly, that's more voices in the coop than we ever expected.
Thank you. Every rage-quit, every weird-mic bug report, every "why is there only one checkpoint" message — it all shaped the game. You helped us ship four playtest updates in the time the signups were open, and the game is measurably better because of it.
If you already have the playtest installed, you can keep playing until Sunday May 31 at 20:00 UTC. After that, the playtest build will no longer be accessible. So if there's a section of the climb you've been meaning to conquer, or a bug you've been sitting on, now's the time.
The most useful thing you can do before the playtest closes is leave us your honest feedback. What worked, what didn't, what made you want to throw your mic out the window — all of it helps.
Drop your thoughts in our Discord server. We read every message.
The playtest was the first step. The road ahead goes through Steam Next Fest — a free demo for the whole world, global leaderboards, and the full game after that. If you want to be there when it happens:
Wishlist KOOO TO JUMP! — one click, and Steam's algorithm notices. It genuinely helps.
Follow Tzavis Studio on Steam — so you never miss an update.
Visit tzavis.studio — for everything else.
From 0 to 500+ playtesters — we didn't build KOOO TO JUMP alone, and we won't finish it alone either. See you at Next Fest. 🐔

Hey jumpers! Two big dates just landed on the calendar, and we want you in the coop for both of them. Here's the road from now to the first time the world can actually play KOOO TO JUMP!
On Monday June 1, the KOOO TO JUMP! Free Demo gets its own Steam store page. No download yet — but the demo gets its own home, its own wishlist button, and a clean link to share with friends. Everything we show off in the two weeks after that lives on this page. The platformer where your dignity dies before your character does — now with its own real estate.
Two weeks later, on Monday June 15 at 8:00 PM GMT+3 — exactly when Steam Next Fest opens — the demo goes live and you can finally launch yourself off a virtual cliff with your own voice. The demo is free for the whole Next Fest week, and yes, it ships with full gamepad support for everyone whose dignity (or roommate situation) won't allow public squawking.
The single most useful thing you can do right now is a wishlist — Steam's algorithm watches wishlist momentum going into Next Fest more than almost anything else, so one click genuinely helps the coop. And if you want a peek behind the curtain — or just somewhere to share your worst rooster impressions — join our Discord server. Build feedback, behind-the-scenes peeks, and Next Fest live moments all happen there.
The demo is just the beginning. The full game has all 60 camera zones, 27 deranged achievements, and the global leaderboards where the world will see who the real chicken is.
Mark the calendar. Two dates, one demo, one Steam Next Fest. See you in the coop. 🐔

This week we're opening up public playtest signups for KOOO TO JUMP!, and we'd love to have you in the coop.
The game is entering its most critical development phase, and while we already have a dedicated group of closed playtesters putting it through its paces, we want to hear from a wider community before we lock things down.
We're not just looking for bug reports (though those are welcome too). Here's what would really help us:
Difficulty curve — Where did you rage-quit? Where did you feel unstoppable? Is the gap between the start and the checkpoint fair, or are we being cruel?
Voice control feel — Does the 5-level sustained "KOOOOO" charge feel intuitive? Does your throat survive? Are the jump strength thresholds responsive enough?
Gamepad vs. Voice balance — If you've tried both, do they feel equally viable? Anything one mode does better than the other?
Camera zones — Any transitions between the 60 cam zones that feel disorienting or unfair?
The "one checkpoint" decision — Sadistic genius or just sadistic? We genuinely want to know.
Audio detection quirks — Background noise, accents, mic sensitivity — tell us what breaks.
Jump into our Discord server and head to the playtest channel. That's where signups, builds, and feedback discussions are all happening.
Your honest feedback at this stage shapes the final game. Don't hold back — we'd rather hear it now than read it in a review later. 🎤
See you in the coop.
